We love this hotel and always go back to it, one of the nicest in Manchester.

The pool was busy and children / babies were loud, hard to relax.

Staff were super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The TV in my room was a bit glitchy which was annoying while watching the women’s football!

Location is a little unfavourable, especially walking from the car parks to the hotel at night was uncomfortable

The beautiful, comfortable room, the delicious food and the excellent gym/spa. The whole experience was amazing. I didn't actually stay, my husband and son did and haven't stopped praising the hotel since they got home! They said the staff were fantastic too. They want to stay again soon.

Staff very friendly and helpful especially Danny on reception, made us feel very welcome. Room was great, breakfast plentiful, and good, clean facilities like the pool and changing rooms. Easy to book a time slot for these via room phone. Location was great, just a 5 min walk up to St Peters Square to catch a tram or bus.

It's not a dislike but some signs pointing you to the entrance would be great for newcomers as its down the side of the hotel rather than the front like others in the area. We ordered two burgers to the room from the in-room dining menu, service was fantastic, but sadly the burgers were very dry, overcooked, hardly any sauce in the burger so we were left a little disappointed considering the cost.

Breakfast was impeccable. Great location in Manchester. The gym facilities are amazing.

Slight shame that you have to book an hour to use the spa however, we never had any issues and tried to book quieter times to avoid it feeling too busy.

Beautiful interior and exterior. Spa was lovely and peaceful and well equipped.

Perhaps I was unlucky, but unfortunately I had to change rooms. First room, the shower was not working the drain (bathroom was a full mess after) and LOTS of noise that started at 7 am. And after changing the room, the staff gave me 2 times the key to the incorrect room. I had to come up and down 4 times until I get into the room that they put me in. They were very impatient and confrontational, to the point that I had to say that I didn’t need any explanation, just wanted the correct keys.

Stayed for a wedding and they were so accommodating with an early check-in and breakfast was lovely

The best stay we’ve had in a while. This hotel really knows customer service and, unlike many properties these days, hasn’t forgotten how far politeness and friendliness can impact someone’s day. The gym, pool and spa facilities were the cherry on the cake for what was a lovely stay in a clean and comfortable room.

The showers in the SPA had draining issues. The Nespresso machine didn't heat the water for the coffee enough. The lighting by the sink was awful for applying make up.

Great location for tourists like us! Beautiful building, stunning guest areas, spa and gym were pretty impressive for a city hotel, the staff in the gym/spa area were welcoming and helpful. Food was good, and had a variety of options including healthy options which was good to see.

Beds weren't very comfortable even though we had upgraded our rooms. The "twin" are room was very much 2 single beds and some areas of the hotel the air con didn't work - but I appreciate the weather was pretty unusual during our stay! Getting a table at breakfast was chaos.

Love this hotel. Always an excellent experience. Pre-bookable Spa for 1 hour each day is the biggest seller for me. Lovely pool & small jacuzzi, with comfy seating around the pool. Experience showers, sauna & steam room. Super sweet. Plus the all you can eat breakfast is fab too. Hotel is perfectly located near to Peaker Blinders (fab food, live music, lovely staff & great atmosphere) and Kielys Irish bar (with live music & more dancing opportunities)! Highly recommended xxxx

There were more than usual in the Spa 5pm-6pm so not much seating available around the pool and no time in the jacuzzi. The 8am-9am morning slot was perfect though! xxxx

It was a great location for everything I needed. If you are happy walking then most places are with-in 20 minutes of the hotel this includes the train station. The room was spacious tbh. Great view of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. I would 100% stay here again

So i did think it was a little expensive for what it was. You can only have an hour at a time in the spa area and have to book in advance. Which is a shame tbh because I felt rushed out. Saying that though no one actually rushed me out but thats just how it felt. For the price and me staying 3 nights I would have expected a few hours of usage time. The other thing and its more of a preference thing, the pillows. As soon as you put your head on the I swear I was just sleeping on the mattress it sunk that deep and that was with 2 stacked ontop of one another. But like I say that one is just a preference. For what the room was too it did seem a little over priced. It was one of those minimalistic luxury things. So really only little things nothing major I would 100% stay here again though.

It was an amazing experience. We spent our wedding night there and they upgraded our room to a suite for free. The room was amazing and staff were very friendly and welcoming.
