The ambience

The fact that the staff didn’t pay attention to detail. I ordered breakfast and specifically told them not to include mushrooms and black pudding and also ordered a fruit salad.. they brought the order with the black pudding and mushrooms and totally forgot to include the fruit salad… apart from that, everything else was great

Staff were really helpful and attentive and made sure we were very well looked after. Room was excellent and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in!

When we arrived we felt very welcome. Check in was very easy and quick and our room was lovely and comfortable.

Waiting for drinks at breakfast in the morning and missing items and asking the servers.

Room from our view was poor! We were over looking car park. Not good when celebrating occasion.

Room-size was the stand-out here - they are massive! Not sure if the room sizes differ on the different floors - this one was on the 1st Floor. So, perhaps the ones on the higher floors possibly with the better views arent quite as large.

Should have been offered the bill on check-out (and really should have asked for it) so I could check it, now have to wait for it to be emailed, so we shall see.

From the moment I arrived I met Claire on reception, she has only been working at the Lowry a month but she was fantastic, friendly and could not do enough for me, I thought she was exceptional. The bedroom was well appointed with great facilities and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. Breakfast was quality and extensive. I am just sorry I could not stay longer, but I will be back.

Pillows were very soft and didn’t suit my husband and I While the breakfast was very good if you ordered from the menu I thought the continental breakfast could be better. Only 2 cereals and only melon , watermelon and a bowl of grapes for fresh fruit. No flavoured yogurt and on our second day the croissants and pain au chocolat were over cooked

Everything was amazing

The bed was enormous and so so comfy!! We ordered room service and it was excellent, the food was so tasty and the room service was restaurant quality! The reception area was also gorgeous and the location was perfect for city centre. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel was clean , had a nice breakfast, a cosy breakfast area , and so many options of food.The bed was nice and comfortable 👌, I like everything about The lowry is worth the price.

Excellent location, staff andcleanliness. Added extras and large rooms. Staff available to help at all times. Everyone was very friendly.

Spacious bedroom, lovely river view, staff helpful and approachable. Good selection at breakfast - we could order one hot item and had access to continental breakfast.

No hot water - this was an issue with the whole hotel. My husband checked in first and had a hot shower, but when I later tried to have a shower that evening, the water was lukewarm. Still the same in the morning, so I had reported it to reception the next morning. They informed me maintenance was looking into the issue as high priority. We only stayed for one night so it wasn’t a major issue for me but it could have been. I also think the overnight car park fee is quite expensive (£32) but this was waivered due to no access to hot water.

Bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast choices were extensive and the whole experience was improved by exceptional service from a charming and professional young lady. A great stay, hope to return soon. All staff were outstanding.

I was a bit unwell during my stay and the staff really looked after me, including checking in that I was ok and keeping the room clean. Not an ideal stay in those terms but I wouldn't have wanted to be staying in any other hotel under the circumstances.

Great location easy walking distance to bars and restaurants, fabulous size room and facilities, friendly helpful staff from the moment you step into the hotel, your made to feel welcome.

From the onset the quality of service from the gentleman who helped is with our bags and car to the receptionist staff were attentive and professional. Quality of Lowry as a product to the service is exceptional as is the location.

The riverside suite was superb - spacious and immaculate. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The stay was excellent with an excellent location, and parking is available. The concierge went out of his way to help us. Thank you so much.

The only slight thing that wasn't up to our expectations is breakfast. The buffet wasn't high-quality enough. Hash browns were soggy and fatty, and it was just underwhelming. Staff were lovely though but the food was not a good enough standard.

Fabulous rooms and exceptional service. Spacious, immaculate and indulgent.

The Pet Policy - for other travellers advice, it would be super helpful to make clear that Dog Friendly applies to the bedrooms only. They aren’t allowed in the bar/cafe, only on a slim outdoor terrace which limited what we could do. It’s in Salford where rain is always expected:) That’s fine/understandable - if it’s advised. There is info on the Lowry website if you search but not on Booking.Com - I booked the night before so had trusted Booking.com and unable to cancel on arrival.

Room upgrade was a huge surprise and one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Clare on reception made the stag even more special. She was very helpful and a delight to talk to. Parking is great here too.

Location is brilliant,also I asked for carnations as a late request, and was told don’t think we would be able to honour that request because of the timing, but you what ,, the carnations turned up right in time to the room . Exceptional 👍👍👍
