The Lowry Hotel, Manchester

Room was elegant and nicely laid out. Plenty of space to relax. Easy to get in and out. Close to lots of shops, stores and restaurants.

Wasn't told that there would be a charge for parking overnight until check out. This was not disclosed on the Booking.com website.

I booked on Booking.com originally with breakfast for four people (as I always do being a Genius 3 member) yet we were charged £100 for breakfast

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice.

No fried eggs on the buffet, had to ask for toast

Attention to detail is obviously their watchword and the staff were extremely professional. Lovely rooms, very spacious lobby's and nicely decorated.

The crap views, although not the hotels fault!

The room was fantastic. The air con was perhaps a little louder than I would have liked but overall was a brilliant room.

Aircon was a little slow to reduce the room temperature

The location was fabulous. The restaurant created such amazing food that I stuffed myself silly. And the BED!!! Don’t get me started on the bed…after a day spent shopping and taking in the sites the enormously, comfy bed just let me slip in to the best sleep ever.

The hotel is immaculate and the staff go above and beyond. I was there initially for work training but booked a hotel room for my husband and newborn so that I could have feeding breaks. The staff in the restaurant firstly provided a workspace for my husband so that he could work and look after our son somewhere private. Then, the kind staff at reception upgraded our room. I can honestly say the staff made this experience for us and we will definitely be returning for leisure.

The staff were the best I've ever experienced and we do a lot of breaks away from the kids. A special thank you to mustafa who, just made our stay the best! And the beds were just amazing, not had a sleep like that in a whil3!!

The hotel is in a great location to get around the manchester city centre area, great secure parking for starters. The room was superb, and we likened it to many of the great Middle Eastern and Asian hotels we've stayed in. Great in room facilities, clean and quiet!

The wardrobe units are missing a rail space on one side of the arrangements in the dressing area, and one has a height divider that restricts the use in a minor way. The AC [room 519] did need some attention and a re gas perhaps, though this was reported to staff on check out.

Nice, big , clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Very good location. Close to the downtown.

The price. But it was a 5 stars hotel. I thought that the breakfast was included, but it was not. The price for breakfast was overpriced.
