The Lowry Hotel, Manchester

Fabulously large rooms, well designed with good storage space and almost dressing room type feel. Beds were super comfortable and lovely soft linens.

Lovely room with some personal touches added by the hotel due to our reason for staying. Bed was extremely comfortable! Great location, everything within walking distance or Ubers readily available.

Food at the bar was rubbish served stale sourdough sandwich with hard long cooked meat and the salad leaves were yellow and soggy and this was meant to be overpriced at £18 !!!!! I couldn’t put it between my mouth as looked horribly stale

No mention of £50 deposit on booking but never the less we got it back the same day so wasn’t a problem.

Location and secure parking, great breakfast and a really good 3 course Sunday Lunch.

Other 4-5* hotels across the UK offer in room welcome treats, which was a disappointment not to be offered!

We stayed the week as my birthday over the Easter weekend. Superb hotel as set away from the main road with a convenient footbridge in to town. Mattress and topper made for a great nights sleep. Fab toiletries and complimentary hot drinks with a local Manchester tea brand included too!

The bed was twin beds pushed together. Not very comfy.

The room was fantastic. It was as big as expected and was very clean. Breakfast was amazing food was cooked properly and there was plenty of choice. All staff encountered were very attentive and polite.

This was our first stay at The Lowry and we were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Also, for an overnight stay, we found the room was a good size and very clean.

Modern, quiet, huge bedroom with a great layout. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the lounge bar.

Location and up to expectation

The staff were absolutely brilliant !! Realy friendly and so helpful. The location of the hotel was surprisingly close to the centre, just a very short walk over the bridge, no need to move your car or get a taxi.

My only issue was it didn't have a pool. But the location made up for it.

Excellent hotel very clean and elegant. The breakfast was amazing with lots of options, we ordered from a set menu which was amazing but you could also use the buffet too. Rooms were spacious and very clean

Unfortunately I didn’t get much sleep due to the mattress and pillows being uncomfortable.

The hotel, staff and general facilities were very good. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and to a high standard.

Breakfast service was not good. It was vry busy and not enough staff to deal with it. We were seated in the bar area, but didnt have the table set up before we sat down and so had no cutlery and had to request this. we were also not given any menus and therefore no options were given other than the buffet. Due to how busy it was, the breakfast buffet was very low on items and so i was unable to have the breakfast that had been paid for as part of our booking.

Location was great - just a quick walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Great having a spa on site.

The room was spacious, with great decor and amenities. Lovely king size bed, comfortable and clean. Useful products in the bathroom as well. Definitely one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in the U.K. Breakfast menu and buffet options also a plus.

Minor things - Car park slightly pricy £28p/n Brand new TV’s so Netflix not yet set up

The hotel was excellent, the room fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. The staff in the bar/ restaurant were very friendly and first class.

The room was huge and very confortable, there were plenty of amenities and it was very clean and well-presented. The staff were very friendly when checking in and out, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was just a short walk away from the AO Arena, making it a great choice to stay after a concert

The mini-bar auto charging on picking items up didn't seem as well sign posted as it could have been, the prices for which were also hidden at the back of the menu booklet, with a different menu over the top
