The Cow Hollow Hotel, Manchester

We dropped our bags off early, the staff were very very professional, made us a complimentary drink before we set off. The hotel is quirky, everything was beautifully laid out and the room was gorgeous, the staff were the real star of the hotel though, could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. Comfy bed, great shower and the breakfast was amazing.

There was not one part of our stay I would change.

Our room was quite small. This is only a small dislike as it was beautifully decorated.

The rooms were beautiful but small. Great if you have small bags but difficult with international sized luggage.

We have stayed a couple of times now and each time is extremely pleasant. The hosts are always happy to help and available for anything. The rooms are decorated very tastefully and beds comfortable. Breakfast is an added bonus and a lovely touch. It comes to the room at a time of your choice. Central location in Manchester.

The property was decorated to a high standard. The staff were amazing and the little touches like free prosecco, free milk and cookies and slippers made our stay even more memorable 😊

There wasn’t anything that I disliked about the property.

Lovely vibe. Free prosecco in the evening. Only downside was we didnt have hot water and the breakfast could have been bigger. Overall would definitely recommend. Fab location and good value.

Having to order hot drinks. Missing out on the free nibbles and prosecco and milk and cookies as we weren't there at the time. No table for breakfast in bed. Long bed base which made navigating the shelf more complicated. Not being able to close the blinds easily as you had to hold the window up to do so. Shutters were ok in December but not sure how useful they would have been in summer

I got my breakfast served to my room but there wasn’t anywhere to eat. Just sat on the bed eating it. I think for a work trip a chain hotel vibe is best. However if I was going to Manchester again I’d stay at cow hollow again, not for work.

Lovely little hotel. Fab location in the Northern Quarter. The staff were amazing and there were lots of little touches that made it a special stay,complimentary prosecco and nibbles,hot drink and cookies when we got home at night and breakfast in bed.

That we had the breakfast delivered on a tray to the room, but there was no table or chair's so we had to eat the breakfast on our laps which was not very comfortable Would have been nice to have had a breakast room, or at least a table and chair's in the bed room

Very well designed rooms,in a lovely building with character. Great location for Christmas markets,shops & restaurants.

Our room was too close to reception & had the soil pipe boxed in behind tiles which we could hear the plumbing system being used. This is being ultra picky. We will stay again.

Water pressure for the shower was pretty rubbish (and temp was warm - not hot). Toilet was positioned in such a way that I kept banging my knee against the towel rack. There's even a sign that says it's because it's for the environment etc which is all well and good like... I'm just a fan of a hot shower 🚿😎

Oh to was far to dark , sure I would bring light bulbs and ask staff to put in the room we stayed , plus the end of the bed us to long so kept banging ourselves , we are in 70s plus the plinth to get in the shower was v high , I know these things wont bother younger ppl , so if we stayed again is there a possibility of downstairs room ?

I was so impressed by this little hotel! Every single one of the staff that I met were so friendly and helpful. The extra little touches such as complementary hot drinks , a glass of Prosecco in the evening and milk and cookies before bed, made this an unforgettable experience. It is a cosy, quirky hotel and I would highly recommend!!! Will definitely come back.
