The receptionist Weaam is not keen to help. The adult pool is crowded with small kids.

Excellent hotel in terms of price and quality. Very kind and caring attitude, this is not our first time here and our return visit left the best impressions! In the room we were greeted by a basket of fruit and a large plate of treats! Everywhere is clean, the floor is shining, there is a variety of food in the dining room! The location is very good, it is convenient to visit many places on foot, the beach is right outside the windows and there is a wonderful view from the room! This hotel is a symbol of Dubai: the highest service, availability and cleanliness! Thank you very much!

It is a little confusing to wait for the elevator during peak periods for breakfast and dinner, but we got used to it and it did not greatly affect our vacation.

This is my fourth time staying at Amwaj Rotana jbr& I absolutely love it ! Great location bonus is it’s attached to beach . All of the stuff are absolutely great. Top service from everyone. Mustafa, sameer for catering and amazing house keeping services by the babul the all staff was very helpful during my stay and great services and communication Thank you again for such an amazing stay ! Will definitely be back again Also Mr Ahmed attraction booking desk was amazing person he’s booked my mostly attraction with unbelievable amazing price ever I would to suggest definitely to book with him Thank you guys

The hotel had a nice location and a beautiful view. The staff were kind and generally helpful.

A few small things in the room were missing at first, like slippers and a child’s bedding set, but they were eventually taken care of.

The dinner options were quite limited, and the overall taste was disappointing. The shawarma sandwich, in particular, didn’t resemble shawarma at all — it was missing both the flavor and the authenticity. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience. The reception staff were quite unfriendly. When I went to pay for my booking, they gave me a different (higher) rate than what I had received through the booking platform. One staff member even started raising his voice when I insisted on paying only the original price. Eventually, after making several calls, they matched the rate I had booked. On top of that, my rooms were not ready upon arrival, and I had to wait before I could check in. Overall, it was a disappointing and stressful check-in experience.

Excellent location with unbelievable view at Blue waters island. Near many elegant bars and restaurants, right in front of the JBR beach.

The apartment we rented was canceled at last moment and we stayed at the Rotana. Excellent location at the beginning of JBR (avoids traffic). Room nice and staff friendly

The room was great, but humidity was high, we had a room and upgrade in which we had a view on Ain Dubai, the front desk has waiting time while others are waiting to check in.

The entrance to the hotel is located close to an intersection that is always jammed with traffic. I had to leave one day earlier than what is expected and hoped that the hotel they would offer a day to replace it in the future, but they have not responded to me

Our room view was breathtaking and the space was big. We enjoyed a room bump up and the kindness of the staff. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The rooms were not very clean, the pillows were very flat.

The location,close to the jumaira beach and 24 hour shop and farmacy, also the parking area and valet service is good

It was great but the food was hit or miss, some days great some days not as good.

The elevators would some times take a long time to arrive, some times wait up to 5 minutes.

Swapan was awesome after a hic up with cleaning on the first day with another member of staff.

Everything went smoothly and was 5* after the first day.

The team working all very well trained and quality professionals. Very clean and modern hotel in a prime location of Dubai. I would like to say a huge thank you to Wiem and Mohammed at reception who were both really helpful and accommodating. Also Mike by the pool was very fun and energetic. Thank you all.

Morning Buffet food was untasty, especially salmon and ham. It's too long to wait for a lift.

could do with more lifts

We had a perfect family stay at this hotel. We booked the standard room with sea view which opened up perfect views from the 6th floor apartment and balcony to jbr beach, the dubai ferris wheel with a beautiful light show every evening. exceptional friendly hotel staff, always ready to help and inform. great breakfast. location in dubai marina is also fantasic, close to restaurants and entertainment and easy to reach with metro and taxi. there is also a pub, an italien and a japanese restaurant located directly in the hotel. pool and spa is also fantastic, clean and well taken care of.

there was one downsight which does not directly connect to the hotel but happened right in front of it and it is always worth to share such information with hotel and guests: we wanted to take a taxi (to also add to their business, not only uber and careem) which usually is cheap and works smoothly. right on the other side of the street from the hotel you can find a taxi stand. we walked over there and asked for a taxi and where guided to another car (not a dubai taxi) which was parked right in front of the taxis. of course, i asked if that is a normal taxi with taxometer and was assured it was. when we arrived at our destination, the driver wanted to charge me 4 1/2 times the normal price (i know this because on the way back i took a clearly marked dubai taxi) after 10 minutes of discussion with the guy i got him down to double price and payed because i was already tired of discussing this with him. the hotel should not allow such scams in front of their building or at least warn their guests as this just leaves a negative taste.

The staff Habib (concierge) & Mohammed (reception) were courteous, helpful , friendly & kind. Definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Fabulous buffet breakfast & lovely pool area. The hotel club service is well worth joining considering how costly it is to dine out in Dubai.

Some staff lack customer service and are not obliging especially when they have provided false information & charges to do with use of facilities on the property.

Breakfast is average. Long waiting time for lifts (3 lifts for 25 floors), had to use stairs more than once. I was oky being young adult but could have caused issue if travelling with children or someone who needs wheelchair.
