It was a unique hotel in terms of the architectural design , location , food and the service of the hotel staff . Especially we were very impressed by Mr Ahmad who works in EWan restaurant who was very hospitable and sweet and kind to the children.

We liked everything the location was great the staff were amazing they went far and beyond to make our stay comfortable from the reception to the breakfast restaurant Ahmad was amazing .

This is an upscale hotel, quiet and efficient with attentive staff. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Hotel room had a loud buzzing sound in the closet that was linked to the doorbell, but this was fixed quickly even at an unsociable hour. Strict enforcement of “no couple photography” near the entrance of the hotel unless you have the correct permit. The cost of the permit is so egregious that it is basically a deterrent to stop people from taking pictures there.

The rooms could use a rehab. Sinks didn’t drain well. Shower leaked out of enclosure. Hair dryer broken

We specifically booked a room with a view of the fountains. Discovered a few days before we went that the fountains were having a makeover. Booking.com should have known that, and hotel should have told us prior to us arriving. We had booked months before. Not only that, but didn't get the room that we HAD booked. Ground floor and looking at the fence! Fountain view was around the corner and we should have been up a level. Paid way too much!

The hotel is right next door to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Very well situated. The Breakfast is amazing. The staff goes beyong theit call of duty to make feel at home. Highy recommended

The firt room assigned to us had a huimidity smell. We ask to be change and they accomodated us right away. Tht room had had a leak and therefore the smell. The other room was very good. The rooms are really big and very comfortable.

For family reasons i left 3 days earlier and when i asked for a refund of the remaining days i was regrated, saying that Bookings.com would not approve the refund. was very disappointed and saddened. If you could look into this it would be appreciated

Suggestions for refinement: A touch more anticipation in guest follow-up would further elevate the experience (e.g., technical room issues). Consistency in guest communication across all departments could be enhanced. Final Word: Palace Downtown doesn’t simply offer luxury — it curates an experience of timeless sophistication. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility, beauty, and graceful service.

Wow! It’s super beautiful hotel even if a little bit old but maintained was very well! Very nice staffs especially the front desk guys James and Lisash who was very kind and helpful for me! The food was great in Thai restaurant as well! Recommend try it.

Special thanks to Roy, Jasmon, Fredrick, and Ali, honestly their warm greetings and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. The experience at Buhayra Lounge was equally memorable. The service was impeccable, and the food was exceptional. My gratitude goes to Rowbell, Siraj, and Amr for their attentiveness and excellent service throughout my visits. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the lady who checked me in. Her welcoming demeanor and understanding of my preferences made a significant difference and set the tone for a truly personalized stay. The Palace Downtown continues to be one of my favorite hotels, and it remains my top choice every time I visit Dubai. The property offers a world-class spa, a wide variety of restaurants, and spacious, beautifully appointed rooms that I thoroughly enjoy. The location is also ideal — within walking distance to Souk Al Bahar, Dubai Mall, and many of the city’s iconic attractions.

I found the room lighting to be slightly dim for my preference, especially as I enjoy reading in the evenings. I would appreciate it if brighter lighting options were made available to enhance the overall comfort of the room.
