Exceptional service, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself was spacious, tidy, well furnished, and comfortable.

I would have loved to be able to access streaming platforms such as Netflix or Spotify.

The Tyrian is affordable accomodation in an excellent location with amazing staff.

Modern spacious apartment, nicely furnished, kitchen has useful basic necessities. Everything one needs is included. Free parking also a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and lots of shops, cafe, restaurants and place to hangout nearby. Staff who were help us checking in very friendly and helpful.

Need more sanitary in bathroom and more towels as it is not match with people who stay

It is in a great location, close to good shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful - both reception and cleaning staff. The room had a large balcony that was warm and had a good view - I spent quite a bit of time reading and relaxing on the balcony. The kitchen is fully supplied for cooking meals. Parking underneath with lift access to our unit was very convenient. The complex is on 4 levels so plenty of options - my sisters stayed in other units in the complex so it was easy for us all to meet to go out.

The only negative was that the bed was a bit soft for us.

Layout and cleanliness

The milk was off which sadly meant my friend had to throw out a beautiful cup of coffee I made her. It’s such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but as Melbournians, we love our coffee! And an espresso made with love (and not enough coffee powder to make another one!) is a great start to the day!

Great location - lots of bars & cafes around. Really appreciated the easy underground car parking (easy for a normal sized car anyway) This is our second stay as we found it convenient & comfy.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location near vibrant Brunswick street. Coles supermarket next door super convenient. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities etc more than adequate. Spacious apartment.

The apartment was very spacious and the 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, were perfect for 2 couples. However I feel that the sitting area in the lounge didn’t have enough comfortable seats for 4 people. There was only 1 small 2 seater couch and 1 comfortable chair and plenty of room for a pitcher couch

Everything was great. The room facilities were modern and spacious, the parking was secure in the basement, and the hotel servicing was excellent.....I mean room consumables and cleaning. The sound proofing was excellent, the security was top notch. There is a Coles within 50 metres (5 minutes' walk) of the Hotel which was very handy indeed! It was very handy to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. The Kitchen was superb with a Dishwasher and all the Kitchen utensils needed to cook and eat in the unit. The air-conditioning and lighting were great. We called a Taxi a couple of times from there using a web app and they arrived very promptly. Public transport is close by also. Staff at the front desk were in attendance when we needed them. One keycard works the room door and access to the basement.

I honestly can't fault them at all!! This area of Fitzroy is probably a bit more seemingly (to us) run down and perhaps unsafe at night than other areas we have stayed but we had a car so didn't need to walk far in the area and not at night. At night we used our car. This is NOT anything the Hotel can do anything about, but their security was excellent!!

the aircon seemed to not work well during the night on both nights. we could here it however it didn't feel cool.

The location was great with easy access to the city. Coles supermarket is next door and plenty of cafes, restaurants in the area. The apartments were spotlessly clean with everything you need. The reception staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

The tyrian is close to trams and places to eat. The night life can get a little loud if you're street facing, but it's part of the ambiance. I recommend it and we will go back there for sure.

The lovely big kitchen area and the outside area as well.

I didn't like the small bathroom and being so close to the bedroom area. Not very much privacy when using the toilet.

We loved everything! We got upgraded to a two bedroom apartment, which had a massive deck overlooking the road. The room was amazing. Very helpful staff and gave us some great advice on where to eat. Thank you. The location is perfect and we loved our stay. The inhouse movies were a bonus!

The check-in and service staff were very good. The location is excellent, especially having a Coles (supermarket) next door. There are some great eateries in the area. The Kevin Murphy hair & body (a nod to Melbourne) were great, but I would recommend larger bottles rather than the individual ones for the environment would be a better option.

This is not necessarily to be included in my online review, but the window sills were very dusty, and the shower vents need to be cleaned on a regular basis. There are plenty of towels, and the apartment is fully stocked with all you need. The free parking is handy.
