Hotel De Rome, Berlin

Great, central location very close to the museums, Kudamm and Brandenburg Gate, very spacious and comfortable room, well stocked bar with table service. Service throughout my short stay was excellent and the breakfast was excellent. Tram stops nearby, so everywhere was in easy reach.

Exceptionally placed hotel in Berlin. Very well appointed with all facilities you'd expect for a 5-star hotel. THE BEST breakfast by far we had in Germany. Had the benefit of being able to use the Rooftop Bar with spectacular views across Berlin. Well appointed bathroom including a massive bath. Comfortable beds.

Nothing really - except because of its reputation, we had an italian 'delegation' arrive on our second day which prevented any taxis being able to pull up to the hotel and we were surrounded by security for most of the time we were there. Unfortunate timing meant we also coincided with the Berlin Marathon which isolated the hotel completely and were were lucky at all to be able to get to the train station to continue our journey. Could have been better communicated and organised for guests to be able to move around.

Great location - walkable to many of the iconic attractions in the part that was East Berlin. Great for museum lovers in particular as museum island is literally 5 min walk away.

The only reason it did not get 10 from me was due to the in room dininng (which by no means is cheap) served us Caesar salad where the lettuce wasn’t washed properly and there was no dressing.

Only small bleep in an otherwise excellent hotel.

I really liked the staff, the facilities, especially the SPA; it was a great way to unwind.

Always the perfect stay from morning to night.

Lovely hotel and location is great! Rooms were clean and spacious and staff are friendly.

There were issues at breakfast involving the ordering system. Asking for a tea was complicated and staff often forgot to bring it to our table. Breakfast is continental style and definitely not worth over €35.00.

Wonderful location.

Our room was not clean. No heating in room when we arrived. Blood on bed sheets.

If the double bed had 1 large mattress rather than 2 single mattress that would have been great.

Everything about this hotel was amazing.. We were center stage hotel for the Festival of Lights in Berlin. Location was perfect..Roof top views of the Dome light show.. 10,10,10, 10, 10!!

Julian the concierge was a great help.

I went with my dog and it was received with a box of goodies. I appreciated that very much. Staff was nice. Gym was clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable.

It was run down. Bed headrest worn out. Old stained lamps by the bed. Ugly decoration unmatching materials. The place has changed a lot in the last few years. Saw a man bring in a prostitute to a next door room from the street. It was advertised that there was a pool and when I went to spa was told it doesn’t exist anymore.

Breakfast location and rooms excellent. Excellent concierge service as well.
