This was an absolutely beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Close to train station and all other main attractions in Stockholm - easy to get anywhere. Breakfast was the best we have had anywhere in our travels. Staff were lovely. Beds super comfy. We would definitely stay again.

Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and well appointed . Wonderful breakfast! The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would return.

The location was great, walked everywhere. Liked the area being quiet and accessible to restaurants and attractions. Staff went beyond to be helpful. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was well kept and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast service disappointing Tables not always cleaned The staff should inform clients that the breakfast buffet will be cleared some minutes before the end of service. I have never experienced staff clearing the buffet without asking if we wish something before they close. Wifi connection poor in room

Because of the weekend we went was quite expensive but actually well worth the money spent even though it is normally less expensive

We loved the comfort of the room and the little details like music and a movie selection. My child loved the teddy bear and the complimentary cookies and made me swear we stay at Rival on all of our visits to Stockholm. I personally thought the combination of a great location, comfortable rooms and just a little extra personality was just perfect.

The only minus was that the service at breakfast for ordering coffee etc did not run that smoothly but this did not take away from the experience and the breakfast was really good.

Breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The cleaning and turn-down staff did a fantastic job.

Second time I stayed here, although only for one night. The location on Södermalm is superb, next to many restaurants and the metro. The room met all expectations and the staff was great. They commented on my last review when I checked-out to make sure that my minor concerns at that time had been addressed. The breakfast was excellent! I have stayed in many hotels in Stockholm and this is one of the top-three.

Our room was fantastic. Super comfortable and clean. The shower was the best inhad ever been in. The staff at the front counter went above and beyond. Helpful with directions and great suggestions.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast with extra free-of-charge add ons, very clean hotel with comfortable beds. In general we had an amazing experience, great value-for-money!

I think one of the major highlights of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - at reception, in the bar and the restaurant. The breakfasts were wonderful, super-healthy and delicious and really set us up for the day. We loved the complimentary tea/coffee/ice/fruit station on the 4th floor - that really added a 'homely feel'. Very welcoming and - so - relaxing. We also appreciated the gentle politeness of various notices inviting people to observe house rules - rather than the 'Guests must not...' vibe that is so common these days... at least in the UK...A small touch but it didn't go unnoticed. If I'm ever in Stockholm again - which I hope I will be - I'll definitely be back.

Not exactly 'not liking' but just a suggestion that some upgrading of some bathroom elements (the 'rain shower' part of our shower didn't work) might be a plan at some point. And also the media stations - though pleasantly nostalgic with DVDs and CDs etc - could perhaps be modernised. Just a thought rather than a criticism. I loved our room.

Friendly staff, comfy hotel and conveniently located.

Really easy to get to from the airport- nearest station - 'Mariatorget' literally a 5 min walk to /from hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly - knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Loved the 'Help Yourself' tea & coffee station at the end of our room corridor on the 4th floor - proper coffee machine, selection of teas, (including English Breakfast), fresh milk and biscuits. There was also an ice machine. Mini fridge in bedroom. Quirky decor, cosy bedroom - underfloor heating in bathroom so shower floor dried up in minutes. Molton Brown toiletries was the icing on the cake 👍

Room temperature was quite warm - couldn't find the thermostat - but then again, we never asked - so only ourselves to blame 🤷‍♀️
