Hotel Lombardy, Washington

I have stayed at the Lombardy a dozen or more times in the past few years and it never disappoints. It is an old-style apartment hotel with large rooms with multiple spaces, beautifully restored.

Amazing and spacious room, good location.

Street noise, especially street cleaning and trash pick-up trucks very early in the morning plus hallway noise

Lovely staff always make staying at Hotel Lombardy a welcoming experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was bigger then I expected. The bed was comfortable. Location was exactly where I needed for staging to reach all the events I had on my agenda. I felt safe and secure in the area. I will stay here again.

The shower/bathtub was small.

Pillows were too hard and too thick

Facility was nicely decorated and very clean. Rooms were spacious. Staff was EXTRAORDINARILY friendly - they seemed genuinely happy to talk to you and help with requests.

Street noise outside

The room layout was generous, quiet and comfortable and clean in every corner. The water pressure is excellent. We appreciated the fridge, and water every day. The hotel is well located. The staff is helpful.

There should be a plug accessible on both sides of the bed. The restaurant should stock oat milk and something other than regular milk and make really good coffee.

The location was great! The museums, monuments and even the white house weren’t more than a 20 minute walk. Also very close to the Metro. The hotel has a restaurant and we stopped in for dinner. Great idea! The seafood pasta was to die for and Mohamed was an amazing host!!

There wasn’t really any ventilation in the bathrooms.

The hotel was very unique and had an old hotel vibe which we loved. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is perfect for sightseeing. We used Uber to see museums and such. The lounge was very cool and the bartender was great.

My only complaint is the restaurant was closed on Saturday during the Valentine’s weekend. We asked the desk and he seemed very nonchalant and said they couldn’t get a server for the night.

Bathroom outlets didn’t work. “Street view” was of an alleyway.

Hotel Lombardy never disappoints. It’s my favorite place when I go to DC. It has charm, class, it’s very comfortable and rooms offer everything you need for leisure and for work. The staff is the kindest and it’s a pleasure to interact with them at every visit. They make me feel at home!

Nice room

Everything: beautiful building. Inside it’s also beautiful. Heritage. Great restaurant, delicious breakfast options. Nice bar. Exceptional staff at the restaurant.

I liked that the Hotel Lombardy is an historical place with character and charm. Staff were all nice and very helpful. Hotel Lombardy also has a nice little restaurant with excellent crab cakes and delicious desserts.

Staff could be friendlier - it is a bit strange that the reception is around the corner as it felt like you were ignored and anyone could walk in and out.

Spacious, comfortable beds, clean

Lovely old world charm, amazingly kind staff (sourced me a microwave), very good and safe location. Whole Foods just around the corner, checkout Western Market across the road, Founding Farmers for a nice meal. Excellent location, short 10-15min to the White House and great spot for Metro. Loved our stay.

The hotel is older and smaller but this wasnt a problem for us.

Plush and very comfortable bedding, spacious suite, antique yet updated decor. Staff was amazing and friendly.

TVs are outdated and pixelated, electrical outlets are worn so plugs fall out from the wall. We had to ask for an extension cord as a result

The hotel has great character and architectural beautiful. Location is perfect, staff were excellent and couldn't do enough. The doormen and cleaners were exceptional. Will definitely be back.

We loved the spacious room, comfortable bed, and great staff. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the mall and many restaurants.

Hotel was quiet for Thanksgiving so I was upgraded to a larger room which was nice. Location is very good. Five min walk to Farragut West metro station so handy for the airport and exploring the city.

I loved being in this hotel because it felt like just being in a relatives home. It was very comfortable very convenient and the staff was so cordial
