Great location and decor! Disliked the cost of a drink at the bar. The prices are crazy expensive.

Hotel Lombardy is what hospitality is all about. Every employee is professional and friendly. The employees in the lounge and the restaurant were wonderful. The room we had was spacious and the bed divine! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel except thank you for making our stay so memorable.

It was just a mile away from the Mall and all the downtown tourist area. Very close to the subway, a market full of restaurants and a nice little park. Everything was very clean.

I made coffee in the room. Unfortunately the cup was smaller and the coffee spilled/overflow. Not sure if that was fault or not. Had to clean it, but not really a big deal.

Thank you Hotel Lombardy for a wonderful stay! The staff was so kind to us and our room was incredible right on I Street. We will be back!

Everything was great and wonderful with Lombardy - specially the old style and history. For sure we'll stay at Lombardy when we visit DC next year.

Our accommodation was a three room suite, bedroom with king bed, a full living room, and a separate, full kitchen. It was more than we expected for 2 people. We were in a quiet, sound-proof, location. The staff were the nicest of any hotel we've stayed in. They did so much for us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made to order and served at the table.

The cost for parking our car was very high.

Hotel was great and comfy. About 15 mins via uber from Union Station, and about 15-20 mins walk to the white house and tidal basin. The only thing is they didn't have complimentary water.

Loved the location and room.

The air conditioner in the room was incredibly loud and ran frequently. It kept waking us up.

Comfy bed, friendly helpful staff. Good lighting in bathroom.

Difficulty opening room door due to it being very stiff. The taps in bathroom especially at sink, and shower head not able to be moved. Not having satellite tv. Kitchen area dull lighting and only basic coffee machine, a microwave would have been useful.

The breakfast was very expensive. But apart from that we loved the location the bed and pillows where just perfect.

It’s so much fun to stay in a boutique hotel. It has such character. The staff were extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. I loved having snacks in the room and available for purchase. I needed some snacks after a long day of traveling and this was just so wonderful to enjoy some drinks and snacks in the room without having to call

I wasn’t able to get the TV to work, but I didn’t try very hard and I also didn’t call anybody because I just was doing something else. I just wanted it on for noise.

Outdated style

This a great little "funky" hotel. Quite old-fashioned in its decor. I felt like I was in a 30's movie. I believe that the hotel must have been apartments or studio apartments, as my room had a large bedroom that could have easily fit a sofa, a large desk, large dresser, small dressing and bathroom but quite adequate, and a separate kitchenette with eating area. The most important thig for me was the mattress ... AMAZING. I haven't slept that well in weeks. Sleep scores on FITBIT were 85 and above all week ... for me a rarity. If you are looking for a $ Seasons or the Ritz, this is NOT that kind of place. Just very sweet, easy, inexpensive! The Cafe for breakfast and dinner were not expensive and the food was delicious. I don't know why more people don't have dinner their. I do have two suggestions fo rthe Cafe .. the lighting and the music are not good! Too bright, too loud. The bar is really nice and comfy. You can eat in there as well. Drinks were great. Staff was really good. Kyle in the bar and Muhammad in the Cafe.

The price of the Tito's martini in the bar - at the bar - was $20. Definitely overpriced. The food in the bar was good - same kitchen - but the presentation was inconsistent with the Cafe. For instance, no bread served, th ecrembrulee int hecAfe had fruit and whipped creme garnee - but plain in the bar. And oddly, the fettuccine was egg noodles and not really fettuccine????

The staff is exceptionally courteous! To our surprise, we were upgraded to a more comfortable room at no additional cost, which exceeded our expectations!! Very clean, comfortable beds and great view. Would definitely go back

I have stayed at the Lombardy a dozen or more times in the past few years and it never disappoints. It is an old-style apartment hotel with large rooms with multiple spaces, beautifully restored.

Lovely staff always make staying at Hotel Lombardy a welcoming experience. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are very nice and comfortable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was bigger then I expected. The bed was comfortable. Location was exactly where I needed for staging to reach all the events I had on my agenda. I felt safe and secure in the area. I will stay here again.

The shower/bathtub was small.

Pillows were too hard and too thick

Facility was nicely decorated and very clean. Rooms were spacious. Staff was EXTRAORDINARILY friendly - they seemed genuinely happy to talk to you and help with requests.

Street noise outside

The room layout was generous, quiet and comfortable and clean in every corner. The water pressure is excellent. We appreciated the fridge, and water every day. The hotel is well located. The staff is helpful.

There should be a plug accessible on both sides of the bed. The restaurant should stock oat milk and something other than regular milk and make really good coffee.

The location was great! The museums, monuments and even the white house weren’t more than a 20 minute walk. Also very close to the Metro. The hotel has a restaurant and we stopped in for dinner. Great idea! The seafood pasta was to die for and Mohamed was an amazing host!!

There wasn’t really any ventilation in the bathrooms.

The hotel was very unique and had an old hotel vibe which we loved. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is perfect for sightseeing. We used Uber to see museums and such. The lounge was very cool and the bartender was great.

My only complaint is the restaurant was closed on Saturday during the Valentine’s weekend. We asked the desk and he seemed very nonchalant and said they couldn’t get a server for the night.

Hotel Lombardy never disappoints. It’s my favorite place when I go to DC. It has charm, class, it’s very comfortable and rooms offer everything you need for leisure and for work. The staff is the kindest and it’s a pleasure to interact with them at every visit. They make me feel at home!

Everything: beautiful building. Inside it’s also beautiful. Heritage. Great restaurant, delicious breakfast options. Nice bar. Exceptional staff at the restaurant.
