From the lobby up to the room itself, everything about our stay in The Hoxton was a great deal. This might be the best place to stay in Vienna. Amazing design, comfortable bedding and accessible to all the top spots in Vienna.

The hotel was nice and clean but rooms are small and somewhat strangely designed. Awkward bathroom and showers. It also has nothing around it, not even a cafe. Hotel food was good. The front desk and guest services staff were excellent

The hostess of the rooftop restaurant and bar was strange. Though the bar was open, she wouldn’t let us enter. We were there at 10:45 and it closed at 1am. She was abrupt and very unfriendly

The front of house at Bouvier, for breakfast, was quite short, bordering on rude at times. We had long wait times to be served when on the roof terrace, nobody appears to look around to see if anyone needs anything, so you just end up shouting for attention

The whole hotel is wonderfully designed and furnished, felt really elegant/classy. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Overall the hotel fits well into Vienna's style and the feeling of being in a 'fancy' city. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to, it was easy to understand how the room service and other services worked. The condiments when arriving in the room were very nice and you have everything you need (ironing board can be requested via room service and brought up). The hotel has clearly put a lot of thought into every aspect of the room design, with little touches like the branded mugs etc. adding to the high class feeling of the hotel. This hotel was at the max of our available budget so it was nice to feel like we were staying in a quality hotel, really added to the feeling of the stay being a treat/luxury. Check in and out process was really easy and straightforward, clear invoice process with no hidden costs. Overall the stay was positive and we would recommend the hotel.

Overall the stay was positive but for the money paid there were several minor issues which left us feeling a bit disappointed. Service in both the rooftop bar and ground floor restaurant was quite poor, regularly forgot our orders so we had to approach staff to order again. Room service coffees were cold so we didn't order again. The breakfast bags gave us the same thing 3 days in a row (yogurt pot) despite the description making it sound like you would get a different snack each day alongside orange juice and a piece of fruit. It was still nice and good value (5 euros) but was a bit disappointing after the third day so we stopped using it. I think this service is a really good idea and definitely added a little bit of excitement to our morning before we realised we would get the same thing each day. The rooftop pool and bar were lovely but twice we were told to leave/move due to a private event, this should have been more clearly communicated to guests as we had planned our day around using the pool in the evening - if we had known it would be closed we would have stayed out in the city. There was no signage to say the pool was closed so we were told we needed to leave whilst in the pool, which felt a bit embarassing. The staff were very polite and apologetic but it made us feel secondary to more 'exclusive' guests for the night. Room cleaning did not take used mugs from room service, nor replace the room's mugs with clean ones - it wasn't clear what we were supposed to do to get this service and we just used the sink to clean the mugs each day. Not a major issue but for the price you pay per night it was a bit disappointing. We understand the hotel is also an event space, but the couple of events taking place during our stay had a negative impact on our stay. Staff seemed to be quite stressed about getting everything ready which made the general vibe of the hotel much less relaxing.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel after a tiring afternoon, I was greeted with a warm smile at reception by Lea. She swiftly arranged our room, even though we had arrived a little earlier than expected—five-star service! The room offered a beautiful view of the city and was spotless. Thank you for the wonderful stay; you will surely see me again. :)

I really liked the interior – it’s a beautiful and stylish hotel to stay in. Unfortunately, it was raining during my visit, but I heard the rooftop pool is a must-try, so that’s a reason to come back next time. The location is also great, less than a 5-minute walk to the subway.

What I was less impressed by were the breakfast and the bar/restaurant facilities. Breakfast felt quite chaotic – although the staff were very friendly and tried their best, orders often ended up at the wrong tables and sometimes drinks arrived only after we had finished eating. It gave me the impression that there simply wasn’t enough staff to handle the busy mornings. There was also a long queue at breakfast on some days. In the evening, the bar didn’t feel very inviting and at first I even thought it was closed. We did eventually get our drinks served in the lobby after quite a long wait, but since the hotel itself has such trendy and modern vibes, I really missed having that same atmosphere at the bar for a drink after coming back from the city.

The Hoxton is the kind of hotel that makes you fall in love with both Vienna and design at the same time. Our room was flawlessly styled, perfectly balancing comfort and character, with one of the most breathtaking views of the city. Beds and pillows? Cloud-like—sleep has never been so chic. The aesthetic of the entire hotel is a masterclass in design—every detail feels like an homage to a bygone era, yet fresh and contemporary at the same time. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better: a short, scenic stroll through a park lands you right in the main city. And then there’s the rooftop bar—sunsets here are magic, with the city glowing at your feet. If you happen to be there on oyster night, do not under any circumstances miss it. Trust us, it’s an experience. An absolutely stunning hotel in a perfect location—if Vienna is the stage, The Hoxton is the set you’ll never want to leave.

This is the best hotel I ever stayed at. True, I haven't visited many hotels, especially not this high-ranked ones, but I know a lot about hotels as I'm in hospitality industry myself. What makes a difference with Hoxton is, it's not your average hotel experience. Don't know what I'm talking about? Check it out, and see for yourself.

The only small thing I'd mention is that I wasn't able to get coffee/breakfast in the early morning, and I had an early morning flight. At least the coffee would do, but the staff wasn't able to provide me with one.

I think you could provide a nespresso machine in every room with a few capsules. The instant coffe is dire. These machines are now staples in all good hotel :) Just a thought. Other than that , nothing negative!

Beautiful hotel, the staff were all helpful and friendly, the rooms were beautiful; bigger than I expected with fridge. water, milk and hot drinks for free. Shower was powerful with endless hot water. The food and cocktails were delicious. We had a wonderful time.

The lifts were a bit frustrating. There were only 2 for the whole hotel and were very busy, we were on the 7th floor!

A distinctive retro fit out with nice rooms and has great facilities in restaurants and bars and the pool.

The rooftop pool is stylish but on the smaller side for the number of guests, with very few sunbeds available. In our experience, dinner quality was significantly better than breakfast. The elevator service was extremely slow, and some rooms have windows that cannot be opened. But overall, nice hotel, we will visit again.

Loved the location. I chose the hotel specifically for that and i am glad i did it bc I came to Vienna to visit stuff. Very close to Stadtpark , station and garden where you can walk around. If you like to walk to visit all the castles and monuments they are 15-25 minutes away. Schonbrunn Castle is 15 min away by train and you can take it from that Stadtpark station. Another train station that is very close was Vien Mitte , 7 min walk , and you can take the airport train OBB and get off on that station. Highly reccomend it. The aesthetic of the entire hotel, the room decor was really gorgeous . The front desk girls and the staff were very helpful and nice. Great atmosphere overall.

I didn't liked that the rooms were small that you barely had some space to walk. I didn't liked that robes weren't provided. Not a must but for a hotel of so many stars should be expected. Or that there's no place to hang your used towels in the bathroom. Attentions to details to accommodate your visitors pls. A bit expensive I'd say also.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the overall experience was very good. The rooms are stylish, clean, and comfortable. We were celebrating a birthday, and the receptionist went above and beyond to make our stay special. She arranged a lovely surprise in the room, which we truly appreciated. The views from the 7th floor were absolutely perfect, adding a beautiful touch to our stay.

We stayed on the 7th floor, and unfortunately, the windows cannot be opened, not even for ventilation. The rooftop pool, while offering a nice view, is quite small. To make matters worse, children were allowed in, which made the already limited space feel even more cramped. For its size, the pool was a bit of a letdown. The food selection at the rooftop bar was disappointing, with a limited variety and quality that didn't justify the high prices. During our stay (weekend of August 10th, 2025), the service was underwhelming. While not unfriendly, the staff seemed disinterested and unengaged, which made the overall experience feel less enjoyable. The staff at Bouvier restaurant were also quite junior. We waited 20 minutes just to order coffee during "brunch," and after that, we gave up. It felt like there was a lack of senior staff to guide the team, which affected the service not just in the restaurant but throughout the hotel. Lastly, I was puzzled by the fact that the rooftop bar is closed in the mornings until 12:00. While the pool was open, there were no options to order drinks or snacks, which seems like a missed opportunity for a hotel of this caliber.

Absolutely loved our stay, from the lobby vibe to the peaceful room - everyone and everything was perfect! Such high quality fixtures and furniture.
