The Hoxton, Vienna

Great stylish hotel, perfect location - close to city center, subway and many important places. Very nice and competent team. Cosy and stylish rooms with mid century interieur. Great breakfast a la carte.

Very nice room in art-deco style with a nice view. Loved it. The staff was helpful and nice. Pretty good location as well.

The room was nice but the aesthetics were obviously prioritized above some more practical/functional considerations. Ex: closet is not well organized/optimized in my opinion, plus it has no doors which makes your room look messy; extra hooks would have been nice in the bathroom for the towels. And the bed mattress was slightly too soft in my opinion. Also I was surprised to be asked to pay a 50€/night deposit at the check-in, which was not specified anywhere in my booking... I was also surprised when asked whether I wanted my room cleaned. Given the hotel's standing and tariffs it applies, this should be a no brainer...

I liked very much the location, the coffee in the room, the radio music - wondeful! the bed is very comfortable. It was warm and clean.

The bathroom is very much in the room, not separated from the room good enough and that made us feel a little bit uncomfortable; the door is not thick enough and doesn`t isolate accordingly. There isn`t a wardrobe for the cloyhes.

Nice clean hotel with value for money

No fault, it was close to all the central sights, staff was friendly and upgraded when I turned up early to check in. Felt peaceful throughout the hotel and lots of spaces to just chill after a long day of sightseeing!

Clean, new, well located (100M from StadtPark U-bahn station), quiet. Great bar on the top floor over looking the city. Rooms are nicely furnished,DAB radio is a nice touch! Showers is great and air conditioning works well!

Amazing decor, comfiest bed we’ve ever stayed in and the best night’s sleep after a long day exploring the city. Awesome rooftop, nice bars and a cool Photo Booth on the bottom floor. Slightly out of the very centre but easy to grab public transport or uber.

- Getting someone to clean the room is a quest. Asked at 10am, no one came in until 2pm.. - The lady in a restaurant was giving dirty looks when we said we don’t have the breakfast included and would like to order a la carte.. I don’t see anything unusual in such thing, why being irritated? - “Later check out not possible at all, because it’s booked.” Was coming from the training and needed extra 20min… But I checked online and there are plenty of rooms for that day- I guess it wasn’t all booked then? :) just really rubs the wrong way when people are making things up.. so much easier to say- we don’t allow later check out, that’s the hotel policy.

The location is very good, 10 min walking to the center of the old city, 1 min to a supermarket, Very clean, nice stuff.

The room is small, distance from your bed to toilet door 40 cm.

Great quirky hotel in a nice location - near the main sites and only 2 minutes from the U-bahn. The rooftop bar was a really nice innovation.

The restaurant was odd - mixed up our dinner order, omitted certain dishes etc. The choice of main dishes was very restricting. We thought breakfast was very expensive, even with a choice.

Would have love to have a chair in the room, so it wasn't always necessary to sit on the bed. Would also appreciate a luggage rack , so it's not to have to work from it on the floor. But a very lovely appointed room, comfortable beds.

The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic, the staff were friendly and helpful (especially in the restaurant, Bouvier), and complimentary water was provided which is always appreciated.

Surprised there were so few amenities in the room. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower (which desperately needed maintenance - the shower heads both leaked in every direction and in all the wrong places). For example, no cotton buds, no slippers, no robes (despite having a pool at the hotel), and we had a bottle of shampoo on the sink instead of hand soap (although I assume this was just a mistake). We just expected a little more for the cost I think.

I booked a room which was like a shoe cupboard - luckily was able to upgrade to a bigger room for minimal expense

The hotel is very well designed, looks like a boutique hotel (although it is huge) and I felt good coming back to it after a trip day. The coffee in the room was of relatively high quality. The room, although not spacious, was beautiful. They have a nice and large rooftop with a pool, and a very nice lobby and terrace on the street. There are many corporation events taking place in the hotel, so depending on your taste if it is a positive or a negative. The breakfast is restaurant style, so we skipped it. There's a great SPAR supermarket in the next building which is nice. The windows were locked in the room, but once we asked to open them, a maintenance guy came and opened it for us.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the old city, and not very well connected to it by public transportation, so consider it. There's a metro station at the Stadtpark nearby. The rooms are not cleaned by default every morning, so you have to state while checking in (or after) that you want it to be cleaned. They tell you that when checking in. I had to ask for more coffee from the reception. I suspect they have a bit of a cockroach problem-A small one came out of my bag when I was in another place and the day after I located a dead small one under the carpet. I didnt say anything, but it wasn't pleasant to find out.

Hotel fine. Great location close to metro and trolleys and quiet area. Staff at desk personable and efficient. Room small with 2 suitcase but clean. Nice building with history. Restaurant didi not seem to be managed and on departure day took forever to have breakfast. Staff making coffee were friendly. Staff did good restaurant recommendations.

From the lobby up to the room itself, everything about our stay in The Hoxton was a great deal. This might be the best place to stay in Vienna. Amazing design, comfortable bedding and accessible to all the top spots in Vienna.

The hostess of the rooftop restaurant and bar was strange. Though the bar was open, she wouldn’t let us enter. We were there at 10:45 and it closed at 1am. She was abrupt and very unfriendly
