Grand Ferdinand Hotel, Vienna

Beautiful property. Very characterful and luxurious and the location was superb.

The location was excellent. Also very practical to have one of the best schnitzel places in town in-house. We also loved the breakfast place with a wonderful view from the top floor. The rooms are stylish and the beds are comfortable.

The only thing we did not like was the lack of space in the room - there was not one drawer to put your clothes

The rooftop pool/bar/breakfast area was amazing.

Bed was a little hard.

Location was good near trams and buses and Belvedere etc. good restaurants in-house as well as roof level bar and small pool.

Breakfast was expensive at 38 euros each so skipped it. Room was lacking storage for clothes. A tiny settee would have been better replaced with a chest of drawers. Open style shower not to everyone’s taste.

Hotel lobby could be better

Location unbeatable. rooms are small but charming. best restaurants and cafes are around the hotel. The rooftop bar and restaurant has a lovely view for sundowners.

it's not exactly something I didn't like like but it was a pity that each time I went by the pool there was no loungers available. As a result I never got to use the pool during my stay.

Great location and wonderful staff. The breakfast was great and had a good variety. The staff at the breakfast service were all excellent! The room was large and comfortable with adequate amenities.

The shower being so close to the bed was strange.

The location. The room facing the courtyard was very peaceful.

Breakfast was overpriced so decided to eat elsewhere. Don't be fooled the pool is tiny.

Beautiful room and hotel. The staff was always available and welcoming. Location on the RingStrasse and very safe and convenient to most of the inner city of Vienna.

The bar was not really open when I was there. Or at least the kitchen was closed. I believe that it was open at other times.

No ironing board and the type of Donner was uncomfortable. Also lack of AC option. Need a lot of physical strength to open toilet door and main door.

Lovely hotel, with energetic vibe. Convenient restaurants downstairs. And very easy walk to shops, restaurants parks & sights.

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, the restaurants had excellent food and service, the location was so convenient we were able to walk to a lot of great restaurants, shopping and attractions.

It was in a fantastic and safe location, the staff were exceptional!

Beautiful rooms, well furnished, comfy bed and easy to use climate control. The location was close to many sights and public transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great central location, modern and comfortable hotel with great roof top bar and restaurant. All the locations of museums, opera house, galleries and restaurants were short walk or metro ride away. Very convenient indeed. Staff all very helpful and obliging.

Overall hotel was very satisfactory.

We have been here exactly one year ago. In this time we wanted the same place again. Excellent experience including a lunch by The Meissl & Schadn restaurant and a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. Thanks a lot

The room was large and comfortable. The location was great for our first trip to Vienna. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the breakfast room is beautiful.

The room was uniquely decorated, a great size and use of space. A quiet hotel with extremely helpful staff.

The food was really good. A good selection and the setting on the roof top was excellent.

Great location. Helpful & friendly reception staff. A couple of dining options and bar with great view.

A small gripe, but we had to ask for milk on 2 days straight - can’t see why housekeeping can’t get that right. Replenish the mini bar stocks. Just a nuisance. We had to wait ages for a glass of wine at the upstairs bar. It shouldn’t take over 10 minutes to receive a glass of wine. I felt sorry for the bartender as he was getting the drinks & table waiting. That never works… there was plenty of staff around. Just not allocated to helping him. Consequently we didn’t go there again, opting for an alternative venue.

This place is 100% exceptionally amazing. The location, the room, the staff, the price all perfect. We absolutely loved this place. Both restaurants the food was outstanding.

Room was lovely and well presented. Very clean. The only problem was the Air con did not work that well so was a bit stuffy. Loved the breakfast and pool area. Very boutique like and the views over Vienna really nice. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Just the air con not working that great. Otherwise the hotel was lovely for a short stay.
