Excellent location, very clean and everything that is needed for a long weekend stay. Portable Heater was also very handy for winter months and filled the room well.

This should NOT be classified as a hotel. These are previously ateliers, or shops converted to rooms. Big space, high ceilings that could have been so much better designed. The sink is in the middle of the room, no partition. Shower is see through, no partition as well from sleeping zone so absolutely no privacy. 2nd person in the room can't sleep. NO CLEANING EVERY DAY unless you pay extra! Only on 3rd day of the stay, and even then, cleaning not very good (floor & toilet). Good location though,and quiet environment.

We paid to stay in one location that was closer to city center, but after payment we were put in a room that was further away from city center. We were lucky we could find the guy who was the cleaner, otherwise we would have not been able to enter. The agent is useless, you are provided with a key to a room that if you forget inside, just pray they will pick up the phone and answer. No change of pillows (only towels) there was supposed to be wifi also, but no password or any instructions were given. No cleanliness at all of the floor. To anyone reading this message, please find another hotel since this for me is a big scam. Better to lay a bit more extra elsewhere

I loved the concept and the cooking amenities provided! It was in an old lamp store and while I didn't understand the concept until we got there, I LOVE IT! IT was so cute and cozy and customer service was extremely communicative. The bed was the most comfortable I'd had in our 10 day travels. It was the cleanest place too, thank you!

I didn't like the glass shower door as I was traveling with a female friend and we had no privacy while showering. Someone had to go sit in the kitchen while the other showered. The glass shower is super sexy though if traveling with a spouse as it is in front of the bed. For a girls trip? I would have loved to be able to pull a curtain closed so that the other can still be in the room comfortably.

Nothing. The worst experience I've ever had.

Everything. We arrived at the location in the evening and the room was 14 degrees. We couldn't even take off our jackets because we were freezing. The people who rent there clearly knew that their heating wasn't working and left us a small electric heater that didn't heat at all. The air conditioning was broken and we couldn't heat the room with it. When we contacted them to tell them about the problem, they didn't do anything about it and even hung up the phone in our face. We had to leave the location because we couldn't sleep there. Not to mention that there was dust in the room that hadn't been wiped off for some time. They said they would refund our money but even after 5 days since they said they would pay us, we still haven't received the money. We will contact the authorities in Vienna because this is unacceptable. I don't recommend this location, it was a nightmare.

I was, unfortunately, very disappointed with my stay at this accommodation. The room was uncomfortably cold; although there is underfloor heating in the bathroom and a portable heater provided, these are insufficient to adequately warm the space. Additionally, the shower area showed visible signs of mold and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor, which made it difficult to use comfortably. The listing on Booking.com also states that the property provides a TV with streaming services. However, the television does not allow guests to sign in to any streaming platforms. When I contacted the staff for clarification, I was informed that streaming services are not available at all. Furthermore, I was unable to access regular cable television.

The room 207 was big and nice. Room 232 had better location.

I booked this place using the “Hotel” filter on Booking, assuming it was an actual hotel — but it turned out to be a disguised Airbnb. I reserved two rooms under the same booking, and to my surprise, they were located in completely different buildings, about a 12-minute walk apart! Both rooms were at street level, more like converted storefronts than hotel rooms. This was very unexpected and frankly absurd — when you book two rooms under the same reservation, you naturally expect them to be in the same location. The listing also mentioned “baggage storage,” but this service was located far from both rooms, making it practically useless. In terms of cleanliness, Room 207 had a dirty dishwasher and fridge, which was disgusting, and Room 232 had a dirty bathroom, was very humid, and smelled strongly of mold. Overall, the experience was disappointing and misleading compared to what was advertised on Booking.

DO NOT BOOK this accommodation!!! they have mold in the shower, the shower was not cleaned at all. Be careful, they are aware of the problem but not doing anything to clean it. Save your health and book somewhere else!!

Comfy bed, and decent space for the price

They were still cleaning the room 30 minutes after our scheduled check in time, which was after our flight to Vienna where we had been awake for over 24 hours. The entire window next to the street is entirely glass which is a little creepy, though they give you a curtain to cover it. The shower smelled like a fart (mildew).

The location was good. Very close to train stations and many restaurants. The city centre is also walkable, else two stops away. The neighbourhood was calm too.

The room was sectioned with blackout curtains. The tall windows that face the street could be covered with a privacy sheet to the glass to let some light in. We had to close the blackout curtains all the time for privacy from the street- which made the room dark. The sheer curtains were too sheer and did not help with the privacy. The bath area is again separated by a blackout curtain. It was uncomfortable. The place lacked ventilation. The room did not have any windows and there was a sewer stench near the bath area. Room cleaning facility was only available once in three days just to replace towels, clear trash and bedsheets. There were no hooks to hang a tower near the bath area. There were barely any hooks or hanging rods in the room. The coffee maker had issues. It either dispensed too much or nothing.

It was not clear from the booking that the "suite" was on the ground floor and the entry is directly from the street. In front of the "suite" is a kids playground and next to it a cafe shop. If you do not want to be watched the whole time, you need to cover the windows with the curtains, means no more daylight and resting in a dark cave. In the booking option it was only possible to book a "suite" and then it is a surprise where you will end up. The light system is low and makes it impossible for woman to put make-up on them. Based on the shop window concept, there is very low privacy.

I really liked my room. It has only one downside - the sidewalk is just in front of one's door step. I had my (nice) curtains closed all the time to have some privacy. The light conditions are still good. The room has character. Personally, I am a big fan of the neighborhood. I love Leopoldstadt and would always stay there if I travel to Vienna.

Location was perfect, really close to 2 metro stations. Surroundings noisy after 23, I was a little afraid to walk alone, but during the day it’s really nice place. Clean and comfortable place with everything what is needed for few days trip.

The bed was for me too soft and front of the room has a thick glass, so we heard surroundings in the morning.

Facilities were great, even a free bottle of wine! Location was perfect, right near the metro or a slow stroll into the centre was great for our sunny trip. Huge room, very comfortable bed too

Only slight issue was that we had a problem with access to our room and there is no on-site reception. Was easily fixed with a phone call and a lovely member of staff coming to assist 15 or so minutes later.

Overall nice place and clean. Comfortable bed and big bathroom. Not much facilities inside. It s location is the beautiful very vibrant area plus -the market is a few steps away. And walking distance from the very center.

Very loud. Located on the street-literally. Felt like sleeping outside as it is surrounded with glass door and windows and the only privacy are the curtains. During the day whoever it is outside can see you unless the curtains are closed all the time. Missing all the light or possibility to open the windows. The 2nd day of our stay were workers from canalization and that was particularly loud and unfortunately not so pleasant as it also lasted 6h right in front of the door.

Location excellent, 5 minute walk from Metro station. Beds were super comfortable. Modern and well decorated. Easy access with lock box for key.

TV did not work. Only 1 mug for 2 people. Damp unpleasant smell in the shower .

I had requested one of the rooms with a bathtub and never received a reply, and did not get a bathtub in my room. Small lip on floor to the toilet needs to have safety tape on it. We both stubbed our toes because the lip is not noticeable.

Quite noisy at times as it’s right on the road, one apartment in particular is next to the cafe/bar so gets loud on a Friday/Saturday night (room 205). The beds weren’t the comfiest.

The interior design of the place looks nice when all the curtains are closed. The kitchen area is well-designed and there is a comfortable shower. The wifi was not working properly and the staff was friendly and replaced it, but the replacement also did not work properly. Due to this issue, we received around a 10% refund from the original price.

The apartment's large panoramic window and glass door that directly faces the busy street on the ground floor were not what you were expecting. Despite the photos making it seem like the windows faced a quiet yard, the reality is quite the opposite. Living in this apartment feels like living in a store or even worse, in the red light district. The constant noise from the nearby bar and the unsettling experience of having someone try to enter the apartment in the middle of the night has left us feeling stressed and unable to get a good night's sleep.

The only thing that could be negative was that the room we stayed in ( 205 ) was located on the street , 0 floor , and we had the curtains closed all day for privacy. Also we heard 2 people trying to unlock the door, probably due to the complexity of the building. Maybe it could be a bit more simple for the guests. But it wasn’t really important. And it was overall safe!

Pillows were not comfortable at all, way too soft/thin. Could here some noise from bar next door, but not so that it was disturbing.

The room was clean when we arrived. We liked the kitchen area that had everything along with coffee machine. I also enjoyed the big table, lots of room to eat and also leave your stuff. Also the self-check in process was very smooth. We did leave our luggage for some hours after the check out in their offices for free and that is also a bonus point.

The room was almost on the road making it appropriate for a shop but not for accommodation. It seems that is used to be a shop of some kind. Given that there is a big glass front there is a lot of curtains to cover and have the illusion of privacy. Although the curtains did somehow the job, in the morning we could not open them to have some light as passengers could literally see us as the were passing by. So all in all the privacy element is a minus Another bad point is the bar just next to our room that was kind of loud at some points and the room was vibrating from music and other low frequency noises. I was also expecting that the cleaning ladies would come earlier in our stay.

It was not hotel , was just room so it was so hard to find how to get the room key and get contact as well . I received info in german language so I had to find ppl to translate.

The impression that it is a hotel is wrong. It’s like a apartment. Quite noisy in the morning, not easy to find. Toilet could have been cleaned more proper.

Great location, close to the canal and transport. Karmelitermarkt just over the road has some great cafes and restaurants. Taborstrasse is a great street with lovely cafes, bars and restaurants. Contor bar was a highlight, just a stones throw away with such lovely staff and natural wines. Highly recommend

The apartment was very exposed, windows looked out on to a restaurant Al fresco area. It was also quite dark, as we had to have the sheer curtains closed for privacy.

The suite was nice and spacious for 3 people. Clean, had all necessary amenities. Location is good, 15 mins away from the city center. A couple of bars around and a food market. Smooth check-in and Check-out process.

It can be a bit noisy at night if you book the street suite, especially over the weekend.

Apartment was very nice and clean, we loved the huge bathroom. The location is not far from the metro station so that's been great as well. There is also a lot of shops and great cafes near the apartment.

Apartment is on the first floor, and because of the huge windows, without the closed curtains, you feel very uncomfortable and on display. We also didn't feel comfortable putting our credit card info again into hotels check in website. Since there is a lot of scams out there, we felt like this step was not necessary, as everything was already paid via booking. They also tried to charge my card again on the day of our check in. Supposedly to authorise my card in case of cancellation, but when they tried to charged me again, it was only a few hours before our stay, so this didn't really make sense to us.

Great location, walking distance to river, Nacht market, restaurants, bars and local Spar. The courtyard apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated with incredible high ceilings. Leafy green courtyard setting (we were in room 202). The kitchenette is perfect for making coffee (Nespresso) and basic meals.

The two single beds are different densities - one is very old and saggy with a topper that doesn’t fit properly. One bed was very uncomfortable and urgently needs to be replaced along with both sets of pillows (they are so flat and worn they are not really pillows :(

Apartment was really big, completely exceeded our expectations. Bed was huge, lots of towels, really nice shower. Robes and slippers provided. Wine and water provided in the fridge!

Could have been a few extra coffee pods. We had 4 for a 3 night stay of two people. Some people might be bothered by the set up of the hotel. We were in the old lampshade maker's shop and the building is still in it's shop form, so you can feel a little exposed if you don't close the net curtains but we didn't find it an issue.

Pillows are terrible, just fluff - need replacing. if you’re not used to living in a city there is some noise from the restaurant next door, cars and passer-by’s.

Very clean, nice amenities (e.g., shower gel, bathrobes, slippers, coffee, tea), included small fridge & freezer, allowing groceries to be bought. Comfortable bed, many towels, several pillows.

The only odd thing is there is only one source of natural light through a shop window style wall, which makes it impossible to have natural light and privacy as the window is directly into the bedroom. Blackout curtain and sheer curtain are provided, however.

The quiet location of the suite (facing the garden / innercourt), the modern interieur, a lot of light (windows), spacious shower and toilet, comfortable bed. We got an upgrade to this lovely suite so that was amazing! We loved the closeness to the Karmelitermarkt, a nice bakery and so on.

The wifi was really spotty so we stopped trying to use it. And it took really long for the shower to get warm.

Unique and Modern Design, Comfortable large bed, seating area, large shower and toilet with underfloor heating being a bonus! Had all the appliances you’d need including a fridge. Staff were fab and replied fast if needed. Great location only a 2 minute walk away from nearest station or around a 15 minute walk to the centre.

Although, the apartment is advertised as a converted shop which was a cool concept and partly why we booked, we didn’t realise our room led right onto a road which made it a little uncomfortable to use the seating area at night as this was at the windows behind the blackout curtains which deviated the room and hid you from the street. (There were thin net curtains over the front windows for some privacy however, at night these weren’t as useful)
