They supposedly upgraded us to a deluxe suite which happens to be on two levels with a tiresome stairs. The cupboard is downstairs and the bathroom upstairs it was vey uncomfortable and I think my original choice was better and they probably gave it to someone else
They added a tip of 500 euros to the invoice and said that the computer does this automatically but that I could decline, which is very embarrassing and unprofessional. I declined
For a hotel of this caliber they forgot twice to put water in the room
The breakfast is of poor quality considering it’s a five stars at 2000 euros a night and the first day the eggs in the omelette gave my wife a diarrhea something that does not usually happen to her

This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms and the bathrooms were filthy. The elevators were dark and carpet were worn off

Small room, bathroom small there was a perfume smell in room sweet n powdery ? I found that we may have been given the wrong category room as our bill for 3 nights was 2,500. And I checked the current price on web site for Delux n it was 500 per night?

The position of the hotel directly on the Grand canal is unbeatable. The hotel is not too big which means you will not be over run with other people.
The brealfast was bery good,and if ypu are lucky ypu can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy all the movement on the Canal.

The badrooms needed improvements,and there was no bedside light.

It is not a cheap option but you get what you pay for and in this case you get a lot!!!

There was a boy one gourmet restaurant no casual dining at night. The room was small. The shower was inside the bath. Very dangerous. I’m 72 years old. It’s very inconvenient. If I wanted privacy I had to totally close the curtains and be in a dark room

Food was incredible, the dinner was exquisite and for anyone staying please experience the dinner and service. I had the privilidge of watching a spectacular sunset while drinking the hotels own cocktail which was delicious. Staff are wonderful and kind, very professional . Thank you the hotel made my first visit to Venice perfect.

It is modern I prefer to be on the other side of the canal
Some of the rooms are very small and although I got a canal view it did not have a bath

I found that the Hotel concierge did not have much say to get tables at the best restaurants I had to get my own booking for Harry’s Bar they had no sewing kits
I lost my sunglasses for 3 days and I found them as I was leaving f under the curtains so the room could not have been cleaned very well or swept very well
Ordered a taxi and it turned up late they don’t seem to have very good contacts
Lovely to sit and watch the boats go past on the terrace

It was cold in Venice and there was no heat in suite, noisy from boat traffic below.

This is a gorgeous hotel in the best location. The staff were outstanding, the service impeccable. And the terrace overlooking the canal was dreamy, it was an incredible experience.
This hotel is a must stay at in Venice.
Ritz-Carleton esque for certain. I have stayed at Ritz-Carleton hotels and this reminded me of a boutique Ritz.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast though, but I do understand the significant location of Venice and that everything has to be made on the mainland and shipped.
I thought the hot food was excellent, but it was the pastries and bread that I thought did not look or taste like quality bread and pastries. It was good but just not quite what I expected for a hotel of this caliber.

What we really liked about the hotel is the location and the seating area right on the sea. We really enjoyed getting the aperitif there before dinner. The hotel looks great and they keep it clean. The staff were really nice. We liked the breakfast with the view.

The bed was small (160cm) and the room was really hot, the regulator for heat was (we guess) not working properly, we tried to turn the heat down, and after we came back from the city, they’ve turn it back to high, so it was again hot. It was hot even if we closed the AC so in the end we had to open the window at night to get some sleep.

Tucked away nicely and quiet

The staff were very welcoming, obliging and friendly. The location, near a vaporetto stop, was excellent for getting around. The breakfast was very good and the half board offer was excellent value for money. It was my husband 80th birthday during our stay and the hotel treated him very well.

The room was rather warm, but we managed to turn off the heating and open the windows. A second chair might have been nice if it could be fitted in. I don't remember finding a hook in the bathroom. ( I am not completing this immediately after our stay!)

A stunning historic building with a stunning waterfront location and vista back to other leading hotels and buildings in Venice. Well located next to water taxi.

It's a bit old and due for a refresh. The bar was a bit lifeless and drinks very expensive.

The location and the hotel are absolutely magnificient. A true 10/10.

We love the location, the historical building and its tasteful contemporary interior design; reflecting our times within a timeless cultural gem that is Venice. The staff was exceptional welcoming; helpful and friendly from arrival to departure. Lovely spaces and thoughtful amenities to memorably start and end the day.

We would have welcomed a set of additional bed blankets as well as tea/coffee making facilities in our otherwise flawless room; a very minor observation in an otherwise great experience.

The team on site was fantastic, and the restaurant and the wait team were excellent! The service was excellent. We felt very welcomed and valued. Very pleased with the service. The exterior courtyard and look of hotel is top notch.

The rooms felt very dated; the bed wasn't very comfortable. The whole bathroom setup was awkward, especially the shower; it was configured in a right triangle, which wasn't very relaxing or easy to use. Water went everywhere. The bed wasn't uncomfortable, the hallway carpet was dirty, and housekeeping left a vacuum out as we checked in. The room needs a serious refresh.
