Hotel Hilton Molino Stucky, Venice

This hotel was a wow factor, from walking in to the size of the room it was certainly worth staying in such a grand hotel. Venice is small and vintage so with this hotel you still kept the luxury of a hotel in Venice. The hotel boat was a great addition and needed from the hotel making getting around from the other side of the city perfect and no hassle. Rooftop was lovely however more chairs definitely needed.

Our only issue was that our room was right near the lifts and looking over the pontoon where the boats regularly came and went. Fantastic for the view but was quite nosey up until around midnight when they stopped. Otherwise the room and view were gorgeous. We’d still happily return.

Adjoining door to accessible room so thin you could hear next door moving around.
A map of accessible routes within hotel to facilities would be useful for customers in wheelchairs.

The position on the Guidecca canal & the views. Very nice comfortable room & properly dark at night. The aircon could have been better.

The breakfast was amazing, so many delicious options. Our room was wonderful but sadly no view. The staff were really friendly & helpful too.

We requested an early checking due to a very early flight, but despite being told our room was being prioritised, at 3pm, we still had to wait to confirm the room was ready.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Beds lovely. The hotel boat to main island is quick regular and convenient. Sky bar is lovely, Couldn't fault anything.

Great location, beautifully property a great re use of an old building. We had issues on check in re our booking with booking.com, a little painful but eventually sorted out. Service in the rooftop bar was slow and painful but the views are amazing. Great breakfast buffet

This is a wonderfully unique hotel in an extraordinary building across the Venice lagoon on Giudecca island. It is oozing with history and is a very special place. I'm sure the views across the lagoon to the main city of Venice would be impressive, but as we chose to travel in February, the foggy conditions meant we couldn't see much! The breakfast selection is enough to please everyone and the regular hotel shuttle boats over to the main island are invaluable and reassuringly reliable.

We had been told by friends that that view from the bar on the top floor and swimming pool was spectacular. Unfortunately this was closed for renovation, so we weren't able to experience or enjoy this.

Much more seriously, we ended up compromising with our airport transport and booked a shared water taxi, which was described by the Hilton hotel as "a good reliable service". We booked with venicelink.com, but the trip to the airport was neither good nor reliable. It took over 90 minutes, we were given no information or updates, and we nearly missed our flight as a result, It was a very stressful end to the holiday and completely overshadowed our stay. I would not recommend this transfer option to anyone.

I would expect a little more from such a hotel, for example, a complimentary bottle of water in the room, Venice isn’t around the corner for anyone so it implies a long flight / drive over.
Or something more than just a shower cap in the bathroom. As many similar level hotels would offer. Just little things that don’t cost much but go a long way.

After a 5h drive and a hot shower, I had to find out we can purchase a bottle at the bar in the lobby.
Just offer a bottle of water per room and it’ll be truly 5/5 stars

The building looks incredibly nice, the ground floor was also incredibly nice looking. I quite liked being away from the main island and the location really encouraged me to use the vaporetto water buses which I ended up really liking.

I booked a room with a view, I did get a view but via tiny windows, nothing like the photos. The hotel looked luxurious but felt like a 3 star hotel, The music in the rooftop bar also really didn't fit how the hotel looked.

Staff and breakfast were very good.

We had a meal at the Bacaromi resturant and the Cod fish with the Polenta was the worst dish we ever had anywhere in the world. Both the fish and the Polenta was a very small dish and they were in a tiny sauce format, runny as if poured from a bottle. Never seen anything like this. A complete rip off @ around 27 Euros, the worlds most expensive sauce. The prawns and Calamari were also below average.

Breakfast was spectacular. Most personnel very professional and in nice attire.

A/C should be working in any good hotel all year around. When we were there in March there was no cooling on. The personnel in the 'Elite Lounge' seemed to stop restock at about 18:00 and started cleaning the lounge food and snacks around 18:50 even though opening hours to 19:00. The hotel boats to Venice center (that you pay 15EUR/ppc extra for) sometimes couldn't accommodate all guests if many waited. They then had to wait another hour for the next run (because why would you send another boat, right?). WIFI was not good. Breaking connection now and then, especially during evening hours.

The breakfast was fantastic.

It was an expensive hotel to stay in and although we understood that the spa would have to be paid for separately it was a shame that it wasn't available free to guests-even if it was limited to one visit per stay.

Everything about it is 5 star down to the staff. One poor thing is the price of the drinks is ridiculous but suppose you don’t expect the Hilton to be cheap

Beautiful views, an outstanding breakfast and truly exceptional service.
We also received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise and made the stay even more special.

The only minor downside, which is not the hotel’s fault, was that the indoor pool was not accessible for my 7-year-old daughter. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Executive lounge good little option, make sure you ask about it on check-in.

Hotel was amazing! We booked a standard kind size room, and the hotel upgraded us to a junior suite! As we were celebrating 10 years! They left us champagne & chocolate strawberries too! It was beautiful could not fault them, highly recommend this hotel it is stunning with beautiful views and absolutely spotless clean!

Nothing everything was great

It's a good looking 5 star with all the stuff you'd expect to see. Good food, drink, cocktails, service, lots of good touches and they've made an effort to bring a bit of Venice inside so you know you're in Venice when you're inside. Based on our room which was very nice. I love Hilton beds. They're so comfortable.

There's a hotel shuttle boat service to St Mark's square which only takes 5 minutes and it's pretty frequent. If you're delayed past midnight so you can't make it back using the hotel boat, you can take the public or a taxi boat.

Reception staff are exceptional and gave us a really warm welcome. Cleaning staff also excellent. The rooftop bar had great service. Luggage guy was great which is a small touch but it gave us a good, final 'ciao' to our stay.

Breakfast is absolutely massive and good. Food's generally very good and I really liked the cocktails.

There isn't anything which was particularly bad but a few things which could be better. I can see how the rooftop bar would be amazing in summer but in winter it's just a bit dull and we didn't really want to return even though the service was good. Concierge could have given more options. We needed a bit more information about Venice and it was easier just to Google than ask. Maybe have some info at reception.

Comms about getting to the hotel were nonexistent. We sort of figured it out but comms in their welcome email would've saved us a load of time trying to figure it out.

Service is OK, a bit hit and miss but could be good. Nothing that would particularly put us off from returning.

Love loved the breakfast buffet! So much to eat!
I gained 10ln just looking at the variety of food.
Very impressed. The service was also great!!!

It was to far from the grand canal, where we loved to go back to again and again. But they did have free water transportation boats back to the main attractions.
Then we just walked to the grand canal 10 minute walk.
It’s a beautiful walk, walked through all the and tourist shops and juice and cafes shops.
P. S we stayed on the grand canal for 2 days prior to Hilton
