Gorgeous hotel. Fantastic location. Delicious breakfast. Very kind staff

The staff member that checked us in was the most helpful person that I ever met .We arrived late afternoon with a very hungry 10 year old . He very quickly booked a fantastic Resturant and said he would do the rest after we ate . Could not have done anymore . His name is Marco

Loved the quiet, beautiful courtyard where you could have breakfast, afternoon tea, a spritz ...or simply read a book. The entire staff was wonderful and helpful. Our room was not large, but perfect for two. The decor, beds and linens were top-notch, and we had a Juliette balcony. Also loved the free breakfast which included yogurt, fruit, pastries and heavenly coffee!

We loved everything about the Hotel Flora. Our room was lovely, the peaceful garden patio for breakfast or a quick coffee or a cocktail after a day of sightseeing, is a major plus. The staff go beyond to make your stay pleasurable and your vacation experience just the best. Location is perfect for sightseeing. But, it’s tucked back off a very busy street so you are not bothered by the commotion of a popular tourist area. We highly recommend the Hotel Flora.

Excellent breakfast in a beautiful courtyard garden.

My toilet was not flushing correctly and broke completely by my last day. It made a lot of noise but did not flush properly after day 4. I explained about it on the fifth day.

The continental breakfast is served on the patio and intimate room by their great staff - not a buffet. The hotel could not be more centrally located. Our room was an upgrade, so nice.

Absolutely stunning property with the friendliest staff, best location and a courtyard of dreams

We were most impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. When we found that the room we had booked didn't have a bed that suited our daughter, the staff at the front desk promptly arranged for a more suitable room, despite the hotel being quite full. Their assistance didn't stop there; they also provided excellent recommendations for the best pizza in town, which is our daughter's favorite dish. Their attentiveness and local knowledge truly enhanced our stay.

Everything was wonderful. Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Nice bar. The location was perfect. Room was large and pleasantly furnished. Will stay again.

The staff was friendly, professional and always wanting to go the extra mile. The customer service provided was exceptional. This quaint boutique hotel is a real gem.

The bathrooms were incredibly small for 4 people to share and the walls were paper thin. We could hear conversations, people in the bathrooms, coughing, someone blowing their nose.

Clean room and bathroom, very friendly staff, great breakfast, peaceful atmosfere. You couldn’t hear any noise in the morning, so you can easily sleep in a little bit :) Definitely recommend it to anyone and will be back for sure!

The facilities were very cozy. We loved the bar/breakfast room. The courtyard was stunningly beautiful.

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a lovely location just steps from all the beautiful shops surrounding San Marco. The staff was lovely and super helpful when recommending restaurants and helping to book reservations. We really felt taken care of by everyone during our stay. Marco greeted us in the eveving and offered our daughter a delicious sandwich after a long day traveling. It's just what she needed! We woke to a lovely breakfast experience with nice background music playing inside. The garden looked nice, but it was too cold outside to sit there. A nice yogurt, fruit and granola and a healthy selection of pastries and bread, coffee and juice as well. Additional items available for an extra charge. Another woman at the front desk coordinated a trip to Murano for us on a private water taxi. It was the highlight of our trip! All in all, a lovely experience and would stay here again.

It rained the entire stay so we could not enjoy the outside garden for breakfast. The staff and their local recommendations were simply outstanding! They knew where to send us for outstanding experiences.

Television was tiny and with few stations. Not even CNN International.

Hotel Flora was delightful, with plenty of old-world charm mixed with modern convenience. The tranquil garden was the perfect place to start and end a busy day. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay even better than we were expecting. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fresh breakfast served in the hotel courtyard garden was the best experience of our stay. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You cannot ask for a better location as the hotel is in the middle of the busiest part of San Marco, five minutes walk to St. Mark's Square.

A beautiful hotel with extremely personable and professional staff. Reasonably priced given its location within a very expensive city. The location could hardly have been more convenient, 5 minutes from St. Mark's Squre. Would certainly book again.

Character, location and staff

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel. The location is amazing, so close to all the main sights. The hotel team were brilliant. They made us all feel very welcome and were great wirh the children. The green courtyard is a special oasis in busy Venice where you can sit, relax and enjoy a drink. We very much hope we can return to Venice and stay at the lovely Flora hotel.

My teenage daughter and I loved staying at Hotel Flora! The room was clean and comfortable (so glad there’s air conditioning), the delicious Italian breakfast in the garden was relaxing but most of all we appreciated Marco’s friendliness, professionalism and assistance at the front desk with making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We will only stay at Hotel Flora next time we’re back in Venice!

It is an older former Venetian home so it had lots of old world charm. The breakfast was excellent. The chocolate croissants were to die for. It would have been nice to have had a canal view.
