Location for arrival from VCE airport. F.te Nove "A" is the 2nd stop of ALILAGUNA Blue Line.

Location for departure from VCE airport (on Sun, about the end of the festivals). F.te Nove "A" is the last 2 stops to VCE airport. The ALILAGUNA Blue Line does not reserve seats for next stop, which means they may skip the stop if they are full. I waited 2 rounds but could not get on (30m each). I started to panic and left the queue to look for a water taxi but had no luck. If this happens to you, it is better to return to the hotel to ask for staff assistance - either call a water taxi, or arrange a car transfer from train station (but you will need to walk to the train station, at least 20m).

It is a beautifully restored piece of history. Great location, easy to reach the city centre, but very quiet neighbourhood. Good restaurants and COOP supermarket nearby. Got a library, plenty of space to chill, work, read and a nice courtyard.

Housekeeping could do a better job. Breakfast was very average.

The staff were wonderful and friendly. The restaurant that was right next door was very nice and the staff there also quite friendly. The rooms were kept very clean, and this was nice. Safe area, we had a wonderful time. We stumbled upon an art market on the Sunday right without the building courtyard area. This was very lovely! Close to vaporetto which was a very fast and wonderful day trip to Murano. Walking distance to everything!

While I found the hostel beautiful, it felt a bit pricey especially because the room was like a student dorm. An interesting dorm, it felt like we were on a ship! If breakfast were included, or a small coffee pot were in the room this could have made all the difference and brought it to the next level. However, this would be the perfect place to book an event or have many people meet up for a conference. I was daydreaming about it the whole time!

Wonderful location and building. Staff really helpful. Studio was basic, but spacious and clean with great views.

Everything really! Few steps away from New Foundation Alilaguna Blue line Waterbus stop,which is 35 min away from the airport. Breakfast was rich and accomodation super clean and modern. Room was serviced daily. We will definitely return. Thank you so much! Great, prompt communication before arrival aswell.

beautiful room, high ceiling with a loft that has cupboards where you can unpack your gear and store clothes. There is also a coat and show rack at the door for layers. Bathroom with shower, bidet, and hair dryer - lots of sockets for your gadgets. The grounds, in fact the whole place is amazing. there is a nice orchard in the courtyard and smart seating both covered and open so you can relax there any time in any weather. In our room the window opened onto a quiet canal. There is a fridge which we stocked with snacks, but you wont be in the room enough to worry about coffee machines or anything like that. Simple but very decent breakfast selection to set you up for a day of missioning around (we did about 25K steps a day. Location was perfect! out of the bustle, but close enough to it. Restaurants in every direction.

why do i have to not like something? for me this was better than expected. Some reviews talk rubbish about it being too loud in the bar - nonsense. Italy is a loud fun place, if you want quiet dont go to a city, go stay at a spa in Germany or in a remote mountain lodge in the alps.

Amazingly beautiful monastery turned into hotel, it could be a museum! You’ve got a few restaurants in the hotel, a laundry room, delicious breakfast included, a vaporetto station right next to the hotel, super high ceilings in the room, orange trees in the gardens… We had a fantastic time!!

The staff at reception was not the friendliest but the waiters in the restaurants were so nice! The wifi was weak. The beds were not so comfy and poorly constructed. Mine seemed to be broken so I put the mattress on the floor.

Dryer in laundry room did not work and left clothes wet. Noise of the heating system in B371 was too loud at night sometimes and shower door did not hold the water away from the floor

The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was really great, and the overall space of the building is good if you need to work or have a good time with friends.

Friendly staff, comfortable and stylish throughout, Places to hang out and meet people if you like. Food great. One member of staff went out of her way to make something for me when I was hungry after closing time! I had to leave before breakfast started as well, and my packed breakfast was amazing.

It was my 3rd time in Combo Venezia. I love the design, comfort of this place, location. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

Where I was (5th floor) I could hear pipes/ ventilation going all the time. It didn’t bother me at all during my sleep as I travel with ear plugs. However, it is always wise idea to travel with ear plugs.

Good price for what you take. Wide space in the room and several bathrooms dedicated to the rooms. Great breakfast!

The building is stunning. An old converted convent. Wow. The staff were brilliant, credit where its due. Young woman when we checked in was excellent, gave good recommendations for dinner and her English was ace. The man with long hair on check out, a really nice guy. He was very helpful, nothing was a trouble, gave us free luggage storage. He was pleasant, fun and helpful. The location was great, just ideal for us. Hearty breakfast on offer. The building was super clean, with a central courtyard, finished to a very high spec. The rooms were well equipped, lacked a little warmth however, [greys and whites] but were practical. Bathroom and shower, fantastic!

Not a lot. Basically we said if we went back to Venice, that we would definitely stay here again, providing the rates are similar.

Loved the property! The room was spacious, clean, and I got to look out to canal from my window. The staff is attentive, as well as kind. This hotel is in a great location with convenient access to Ali Laguna boat port and it’s a close walk to tourist sites. Great common space for solo travelers and breakfast bread for guest.

Our studio split-level room was very clean and comfortable. We really like that Combo Venezia is located on a large plaza and has beautiful interior brick courtyards for coffee, snacks and conversation. The location so close to the F.te Nove A public transportation ferry Blue route from Marco Polo airport is excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. The interior features and long history of the building are both very interesting. Breakfast (included) was great. A quiet and comfortable place to stay in Venice.

Only one pillow each on a double bed and was very bad. There was also a weird smell coming from the drains in the bathroom

The only thing we would have loved was some mosquito nets, just in one or two of the windows/French doors, so we could air out without worrying about stinging and buzzing in the night. My husband hardly got any sleep, and we didn't get much fresh air.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, the bed was comfy, and the canal views (from the upstairs suite) were lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a short walk to the vaporetto stop, making it easy to explore Murano and Burano. We also didn't have too far to go to get to Piazza San Marco – about 30 minutes on foot.

One tiny suggestion: the rooms could use a bit more decoration – they're a bit plain and could benefit from a bit more personality.

The front desk staff were lovely and helpful. They upgraded me to a bigger room which was a nice surprise. The location was nice and close to some ferries however to get back to the main river i had to walk far up and down 3 bridges with my large suitcase which was a struggle. Restaurants and area was nice, i enjoyed my large shared kitchen, it was the biggest space ive seen in a hostel yet!

I had a rude roomate who didn't like me making movement as i got home late at night. She should know better not to book a hostel if she doesn't want to be disturbed. I would like to mention that there was no toilet paper in either of the bathrooms. The cleaners also came at horrible times. The resturants i was told to go close by also shut the kitchen earlier than their close time which i felt was rude and frsutrating. Other than that I had a great experience.

Great location for this renovated convent. It has an upmarket hostel vibe with a great central courtyard. Rooms are really clean, basic and the windows open which was lovely on a September evening. The beds were quite firm. I booked early and then was surprised to find a better room closer to the date for half the price I had booked for. So look for specials for a good value stay. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and the line to get a coffee too long. Staff were so wonderful, informative and helpful with local recommendations. I would stay here again.

Combo Venezia was an amazing place to stay for so many reasons. It was conveniently close to the ferry stop where the Alilaguna ferry to the airport leaves from. It was also a short walk to most attractions, the Jewish quarter, and was a lovely place to walk around at night. The restaurant and cafe/bars onsite were very convenient, and the reception staff were readily available. The grounds and courtyard areas inside the restored convent were all beautifully done and provided a peaceful place to have a drink with friends or to find a quiet corner to read a book. The breakfast was absolutely top class, and the coffee machine, although seriously overworked, did an amazing job. Oh, and did I mention the gym? Absolutely the best hostel I've ever stayed in.
