Hostel Combo Venezia, Venice

Excellent location with spacious accommodations and facilities and great views which was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was varied and generous in lovely surroundings. The staff were pleasant helpful and efficient giving useful local information.

We stayed in four different accommodations during our two week trip to Italy, this was our favorite! We’re in our mid forties and felt comfortable and at home. There is so much to see and do at Combo! The breakfast was generous and good, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was adequate for the unseasonably hot weather. A great value and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful building, good area.

Charmin hostell! Room itself was very plain ( like in pictures), but the whole building, breakfast area/cafe/corridoors ect was quite unique milieu.

Room was amazing, with two levels and sleek minimalist design. Big windows over the canal. Great common areas, including a medieval yard, a couple of bars and relaxed mood.

The breakfast was bare bones minimal. The room was clean but the ceilings and windows were dirty (spider webs in the ceilings). Not centrally located. After booking, received a message in the booking app from the hotel that was clearly fraudulent asking for details about my credit card. Contact both hotel and booking.com but not much was done about it.

Location was perfect, it was 2 minute walk from the water taxi that will take you to Burano and Murano, which was super convenient for day trips. It was around a 15 minute walk into the centre, which was lovely because it doesn't get really loud and busy, but you're not too far out. I liked that the 'dorm' is set up like an apartment, and each room has 2 rooms, meaning in a 8 dorm room you're really only sharing your sleeping space with another person. There's a few bathrooms per apartment and a common space with a kitchen and fridge. Breakfast was wonderful and Combo provided many options.

The layout of the hostel was extremely confusing, and I wished there were more signage around.

Combo 

Our stay in Combo Venezia exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere and staff were so lovely. The canal loft apartment which we stayed in was perfectly spacious, ~living and kitchen area downstairs with the bedroom in loft overhead. Air conditioning was great. The communal spaces were airy, comfortable and had a charm all of its own. Breakfast was fine, but there are separate bar food areas both at the front and at rear of courtyard with excellent snacks and treats. The water transport to &from airport, islands and city were only a very short walk away. Combo Venezia is just a special place, well worth a visit.

The breakfast was fine but the separate bar areas had much better fare on offer. But that didn’t take from a great spot.

The complex was originally built around 12th century as a monastery and was renovated around 2013 to be hostel / hotel while keeping the historic features intact. The location is conventionally located near a quiet neighborhood close to Vaporetto stop, restaurants, grocery shops and tourist areas. It also has a bar, cafe and restaurant which serves Venetian Cuisine. Drinks were really good at the bar. The pasta with the "crayfish" was really good! We stayed on the Loft overlooking a canal which has private bathroom, a kitchenette and a living area . They served continental breakfast which was quite good. The room is clean, bed was comfortable . Staff hospitality is mediocre.

No TV. The ac is not cooling properly. We had to open the window to let the cool breeze in.

Helpful friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, interesting architecture and history to the hotel. Good choice of food at breakfast. Good quality evening meal in restaurant the time we ate there. Very close to waterbus stop. Good to have a kitchenette.

Room appeared a bit stark without any decor. Twin room beds comfortable but small (single).

The hostel was in a very good location and staff were helpful. Beautiful building. Would definitely stay again but BOOK DIRECT not through Booking.com. They're a scam!

Being double charged because Booking.com's system was hacked by scammers who gained access to all my booking and personal information!!! BOOKING.COM IS A SCAM. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE HACKERS AND AFTER SAYING I'D BE REFUNDED ARE NOW GHOSTING ME. ALWAYS ALWAYS BOOK DIRECT WITH THE HOTEL!!! (I will be getting solicitors etc involved soon and it just is a situation I could really really do without right now. I honestly don't know how Booking.com is even still allowed to function. I will certainly be spreading the word of their scammer nature far and wide! A quick Google says this has happened loads before and they simply don't care. Book. Direct. Always.)

My room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the enchanting streets of Venice. What truly stood out, however, was the location of Combo Venice Hotel. Situated in the heart of this beautiful city, it allowed me easy access to all the major attractions, from St. Mark's Square to the Grand Canal. I could easily immerse myself in the rich history and culture of Venice, knowing that I had a welcoming and comfortable base to return to at the end of each day. In summary, my stay at Combo Venice Hotel was a delightful experience. If you're planning a trip to Venice and are looking for a hotel with exceptional service, a great location, and a charming atmosphere, I highly recommend considering Combo Venice Hotel for your stay.

Great place to stay in Venice; good breakfast with a lot of choice; great surroundings - easy to reach, but outside the main flux of tourists. There are a lot of good eateries around, and Combo's own Bacaro is also quite pleasant. The staff were very professional and accommodating.

Great location, super easy to access from the airport. No need to carry the luggage up and down a million bridges in Venice :) The building is very unique, breakfast was very varied and the rooms were new, spacious and comfortable. I also had dinner one night at the restaurant downstairs, a great option if you are tired from walking around but still want good food.

The only small feedback I can give is the pillows were not super comfortable. But it's not a big issue considering all the rest of the positive experience.

The hotel's booking.com account was hacked and we nearly lost money, we called the hotel and this staff member was rude. Also no-one addressed this or mentioned it when we checked in. Breakfast is not the best. No headboard, bedside tables or kettle in room.

The absolute best location, one boat ride away from the airport and very easy to get other boats around the city or walk. Cool place to work from as well and lots of nice places to hang out

The room was a little too big with an unused mezzanine floor and loads of cupboards. The decor is a little cold (white and bare brick)

Great location right next to the ferry drop-off from the airport. Beautiful historic building converted into a hotel. Convenient location while being away from the more congested touristy areas. Nice amenities on site including a restaurant and court yard.

The greatest of the hotels. Have stayed here a couple of times and looking forward to see The Combo again. Thank You for the freedom and for letting the history move to the future.
