Ca’ di Dio, Venice

The breakfast was very good, but it could has been even better if more option were available: more vegetables & fruits, more gluteen-free products, larger variety of milk products (i.e. yogurts, curds, similar).

We have chosen our room from the third attempt only. We did not like the first 2 rooms offered to us. The last one was perfect.

The location was perfect ! The staff helped us organize our visits and restaurants. Anna at the rest of the breakfast staff and the entire team at the reception was just amazing ! The room had a great view and was the perfect size. We will definitely come back soon.

Beautiful hotel, great location and the staff were all attentive, polite and welcoming. I can not rate Ca’di Dio highly enough. Thank you for an amazing few days in Venice.

Great staff and the location is superb! Breakfast has a few options so you can order to make it on the spot or choose from the pre made food which is also very good.

The room above mine the guests were stomping their feet hard till midnight. Not the hotels fault but well, it happened.

Fantastic stay at the hotel from start to finish. Every one of the staff were so friendly, they gave us recommendations for restaurants and what to see and do and nothing was too much trouble. We had a free upgrade due to it being my birthday and our anniversary and they made these celebrations so special for us. The breakfasts were superb. Valentina was especially attentive at breakfast and the pancakes were amazing. The suite was beautiful, simple but elegant and always kept beautifully clean. Perfect location for seeing all the wonderful sights of Venice. Overall 10 out of 10!!

The suite room 105 was absolutely stunning, the view of the canal wasn’t all that interesting but we didn’t travel to Venice to look out of a window

The staff made our stay amazing, from the first moment we arrived until our check-out. The breakfast is amazing and a perfect way to start a day in Venice. Rooms are comfortable, and bathrooms are super comfortable. Location, hotel is close to everything, but still away to give you some peace of mind. Overall a great stay, lovely energy exchange.

I had a beautiful corner room with views of both canals, and it was exactly what I had hoped for.

The hotel is well located in walking distance of San Marco and easily accessible by water taxi, the hotel has its own private dock or by water bus (Arsenale vaporetto stop is just a few yards in front of the hotel). The hotel is very spacious and clean and tastefully decorated with polished stone floors throughout. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with something to meet every taste. The views are beautiful, directly to the front over the lagoon towards San Giorgio Maggiore and right towards the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute at the entrance to the Grand Canal.

Absolutely not a complaint, the hotel is very modern (opened in May 2021) and all furniture and fixings etc are modern so it would depend on if you are looking for a more traditional Venetian style. Bearing in mind the building is not new and has stood since the 13th century in different guises such as a Pilgrims Hostel, women’s refuge and latterly an old people’s home.

Excellent location, especially for those visiting the Biennale. Smooth connection to/from airport on the Alilaguna bus, which stops literally at the doorstep of the hotel. Beautifully designed rooms, comfortable and spacious - especially for Venice standards, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Not much to complain about, really… The wi-fi in our room was a bit patchy.
