The staff made our stay amazing, from the first moment we arrived until our check-out. The breakfast is amazing and a perfect way to start a day in Venice. Rooms are comfortable, and bathrooms are super comfortable. Location, hotel is close to everything, but still away to give you some peace of mind. Overall a great stay, lovely energy exchange.

I had a beautiful corner room with views of both canals, and it was exactly what I had hoped for.

The hotel is well located in walking distance of San Marco and easily accessible by water taxi, the hotel has its own private dock or by water bus (Arsenale vaporetto stop is just a few yards in front of the hotel). The hotel is very spacious and clean and tastefully decorated with polished stone floors throughout. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with something to meet every taste. The views are beautiful, directly to the front over the lagoon towards San Giorgio Maggiore and right towards the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute at the entrance to the Grand Canal.

Absolutely not a complaint, the hotel is very modern (opened in May 2021) and all furniture and fixings etc are modern so it would depend on if you are looking for a more traditional Venetian style. Bearing in mind the building is not new and has stood since the 13th century in different guises such as a Pilgrims Hostel, women’s refuge and latterly an old people’s home.

Excellent location, especially for those visiting the Biennale. Smooth connection to/from airport on the Alilaguna bus, which stops literally at the doorstep of the hotel. Beautifully designed rooms, comfortable and spacious - especially for Venice standards, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Not much to complain about, really… The wi-fi in our room was a bit patchy.

I stayed in the Junior Suite which was a real treat. Such a beautifully designed hotel and all the furniture and fixtures were very high end. The staff were amazing and food and attention to detail second to none.

Superb location. Beautifully appointed and well kept. Breakfast offered a good choice of high quality produce, beautiful pastries, all served very professionally with a smile. Vero restaurant was superb, knowledgeable staff were able to talk about the food and wine, all courses were excellent.

Everything was beautifully designed, thought out and clean. We were upgraded to an executive suite I think, with a living room. All staff were friendly, helpful and made an effort to speak to you. The decor is amazing. I find it hard to sleep in hotels, but not here. The beds and pillows were great and it was super quiet. The breakfast was great. Everything available was of really good quality and tasty. The hotel bar was also exquisite. Just a really great hotel and we were sad to go.

Location is awesome for anyone who wants to go to the Biennale or to explore a centre of the city....a short walk tour. Facility is great adaption of old building into a modern hotel with great lighting and furnishing

Everything was superb starting from the very first second- the atmosphere, the personnel, the cleanliness and the food. The location is also close to all attractions and restaurants. Definitely will come back

I loved the design of the hotel, stuff was really friendly and helpful. I loved the "garden" for the breakfast. The location of the hotel is just great, everything was so close and yet you felt so private. I loved that drinks in minibar were free. They even upgraded our room for free which we didn't even ask for! Never happen to me before, it was really nice. I was smooth and smelled nice all day because of the hotel (fr).

Staff were excellent. Location on the waterfront was only 10 min walk from St Marks square and a water taxi pontoon right outside. Rooms really well appointed.

Staying at this hotel was one of the most pleasant experiences. The room was immaculate, with attention to every detail to make guests feel comfortable. Excellent breakfast! Extremely kind and discreet staff. All hotel spaces furnished with elegance and sophistication.

The hotel did everything they could to make our stay memorable. We had complimentary water, they brought cookies to our room and received a free room upgrade to a bigger room. The free tour they offered to Murano was a great surprise. The rooms are beautifully designed and high quality material was used. Location is perfect and San Marco square is only a 10 minute walk.
