Super location in the heart of Valencia, restaurants and bars nearby. The staff was super friendly. Surprised by the free madeleines in the morning. Reccomend if you are looking for a good location for few nights stay, close to everything.

We loved everything about Hostal Antigua Morellana! The location was excellent - right in the heart of the old city. The room was very clean and attended to every day of our stay. The staff is friendly and very helpful! It was nice to know that the front desk is manned 24 hours a day. It is a fantastic place to stay!

This hotel is a gem! Lovely family run place in a great location. It really suited what we needed for our short trip to València - clean, quiet, simple and in a great spot.

Fantastic location and the staff were exceptional, especially Sonia who greeted us on arrival. The family run hotel was very clean.

Sound proofing wasn't the best and there was a lot of noise from the plumbing, it is an old building.

We loved it here. Great location in the old town, perfect for exploring the wonderful city of Valencia. The owners were really helpful and very informative. Loved our stay in every way 😊

It is a family hotel. The staff is very nice. They remember your name and the talks are more ‘human’ than in a standardized hotel. The hotel is at the heart of the historical center. It is then close to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. I will come back at this hotel for sure.

The location was fabulous, and the people super-nice. Free tea and morning pastries (and coffee machine, though not free) in the lobby were a nice touch. Trato familiar.

TV was screwed up and they couldn't help, but we shouldn't be watching TV in Valencia anyway!!

Very good location, close to many sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Small pastries and tea free in the morning in the lobby az an unexpected surprise and nice gesture from the owner.

Noise isolation between the rooms is not too effective. Might be common challenge for Valencia accommodations as we experienced the same at the other accommodation where we stayed. The beds and the mattresses were too soft, bending a lot under us. We are normal weight, but a bit rusty spine. :-)

The kindness, welcome, professionalism and availability of the staff were exceptional.

One of my best hotel experiences. As many people have commented Sonia and her family are lovely hosts and made us feel welcome before we arrived with quick responses, when we arrived and all through our stay. The hotel has a homely feel, good soundproofing, and fantastic location in the Old Town close to all the major attractions which are easily walked to, and lots of restaurants. We loved the free fresh pastries provided each morning, and also visited their family bakery just down the round (a must).

As other reviews have mentioned, the location is excellent, and the room is very clean. What impressed me the most was Sonja and her team, who made our trip to Valencia truly wonderful for me and my boyfriend. Staying here felt just like coming home. Sonja is a beautiful and elegant lady. Although we didn’t share the same language, I trusted and liked her at first sight. She reminded me of my mom back in China. When we were leaving, she even saw us off to the car. I regret not giving her a big hug before we left! With the arrival of the New Year in 2025, I’d like to send my best wishes to Sonja and her family. Until we meet again!

Great location, lovely small family run hotel. We had a small but comfortable room & very comfortable twin beds. Super clean. Very helpful staff. Tea/coffee provided in main reception room with croissants/homemade cake for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything. The owner/s particularly Sonia we spoke to mostly...soooo helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful clean room and bathroom with excellent water pressure in shower. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee in lovely lounge area with pastries from bakery to have each morning. Hotel in perfect spot to get all main sights easily ...so easy to pop back to hotel at any time fir a rest and cuppa...as tea and coffee available all the time. Beautifully and tastefully decorated hotel. Would not even try anywhere else next time.

Nothing. Everything was spot in. We had a rear room with no view but it didn't matter at all. It was a base and everything else was great.

The hotel is not fancy. The rooms and furnishing are basic but not unattractive and absolutely clean and perfectly functional. The staff was extremely helpful. Because neighborhood is historic and includes many prominent sights it attracts many tourists, many of whom are not Spanish or Spanish speaking. This detracts from the experience in my opinion.

Loved the location and cleanness of the rooms and property. Ideal location in the middle of the old town, with loads of restaurants and key historic attractions a few steps away.

All the facilities are impeccably clean and very comfortable. The sisters that own the place as well as everybody at the reception are very kind and willing to help. Reserve with several weeks before your trip. Places like this are fully booked quickly.

Everything was perfect, location close to restaurants, pubs and most attractions in city centre. The reception open 24/7 with an amazing staff always helpful and smiling. We will definitely come back in this wonderful city, and for sure we will go back to Antigua Morellana. Wonderful stay! 😍
