Hotel Thompson, Toronto

Well clean nice property. Well located to see Toronto. We took the bikes out which was really nice. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool.

The only thing about the hotel I didn’t like was the amount of sunbeds (there is only 3 pairs).

The price is excessively high. And parking is not included.

The staff and concierge vehicle driver were amazing.

The sustainability of it all was wonderful, the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

I didn’t love the locked staircases (I am someone who prefers using the stairs rather than an elevator and the staircase is strictly for emergency use only as you can’t get back onto your floor even with the fob key). I also had family staying on another floor and it was difficult to visit them in their room but I understand why those restrictions are implemented, just quite inconvenient.

Staff were incredible. Property is gorgeous.

The bed and pillows were nice, as well as the shower flow. Having a balcony was a bonus. Also, I need to mention staff attentiveness which were ready to help and assist.

The hallways were not very clean, the carpet looking tired and dirty.

Very stylish Hotel, Very trendy and in a hip area, seemed quite a young crowd (Or maybe I'm getting a bit old!) could be noisy at the weekends for some. The staff were amazing and went far and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, overall the service was faultless and I think that makes the biggest difference. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern and stylish. I would definatly stay again.

Could be noisy for some, especially at the weekends. The roof top bar is good with great views but is open to the public with no areas kept for Hotel customers. We managed to squeeze in but would have been disappointed had we not been able to have a drink as guests considering the room rate. The idea that the hotel is sustainable falls short in some places, it's a hotel after all! some touches are great though like the water in the rooms being chilled filtered drinking water. Some rooms on the lower floors could be noisy for some, proximity to the street and parties happening at the weekends. Our first room suffered from this, we also noticed no privacy blinds in the lower room only curtains!?

I like the theme of sustainability. The decor created a relaxed atmosphere. The lobby and bar are really cool and fun to hang out.

It’s not a great location and there currently is a lot of construction in the area.

Had brunch two mornings and it was amazing!

Valet didn't help take my bags from reception to the car upon check out. He simply post me to the door and gave me directions to where my car was, but not offer to help with my bags. I paid for valet service.

Comfort: Insanely comfortable bedding. Staff: Everyone was so nice! Amenities: Rooftop pool was gorgeous with a great view. Also, the gym had Pelotons which was great.

I would have liked more than caffeinated teas ie chamomile and mint. I asked and they gave me some.

I could feel/ hear the music from the frestaraunt

This hotel was close to our son’s apartment plus the Blue Jays stadium so we were able to walk to both. It was a very nice facility.

There was so much construction going on all around but that’s not anyone’s fault. Parking is always a challenge in big cities and this was no different so we just did valet even though pricey and walked.

Possibly the best hotel I have ever been to. The service is not only good, it's impressed. I love their environmentally friendly but still luxuries approach to hosting guests. I would definitely book again.

Pricing for the hotel cocktails and food was a little expensive. Even though I noted that I would arrive at 3pm my room was not ready until 4pm. I did receive a complementary drink for the delay. The traffic was very loud outside with sirens going off at least 2 or 3 times a day/night. The construction at hotel was noisy on the rooftop as well as it being outside around the hotel. My panoramic King view was a little bit of an eyesore but that’s due to construction. Lastly, the knocking at my door at odd hours of the night offering services was a little off putting - seeing as though I was alone.

This hotel gets it right from every perspective. The design, the hospitality, the bars and restaurants are very carefully thought out. The experience when you walk through the door until you check out is very welcoming. My partner and I have stayed here twice and will continue to make this hotel a regular destination.

I loved everything about this hotel. Aesthetically, it was welcoming, warm, and beautiful. Every aspect--from the room (the bed was soooo comfortable--to the lobby AND the food was great, too.

Hard to find fault with something pretty perfect but the shower could use a place for personal shampoo, etc., and a couple more hooks to dry wet towels.

First time staying at 1. Amazing, the staff was cordial, polite, attentive and incredibly helpful. Will absolutely be staying again when we go to Toronto! Thank you so much for the hospitality. It is not frequent you find true hospitality like that.

Not really anything we didn’t like! Worth the price although we wish we could have afforded to stay longer. Hands down the most accommodating and comfortable hotel stay I’ve had in recent memory. Thank you!
