Fodors review:

“This gleaming 55-story tower in the leafy Yorkville neighborhood sprung from the drafting table of celebrated designers Yabu Pushelberg, known for their elegant yet modern sensibility.”

Featured as Fodor’s Choice in Toronto.

Forbes review:

“Occupying a gleaming blue glass tower in the elegant Yorkville neighborhood, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto boasts a chic, contemporary residential design style. All rooms have a cool gray color scheme with white and gold accents and lots of neutral wood and granite stonework, most notably in the spacious bathrooms, which have luxe touches such as deep-soaking tubs.”

CNN review:

“Art designed to look like over-sized dandelion seed heads hovers above the check-in desk. The hotel has 259 guest rooms, including 42 suites, all done up in cool contemporary grays and whites. The spa is one of the best in Toronto, and the pool area is gorgeous.”

Frommers review:

“Four Seasons has been in the posh Yorkville neighborhood for decades, but relocated to its new 55-story location in 2012. This is the flagship property for the internationally known Canadian company. This luxurious five-star hotel takes up floors one through 21, above which are residences.”

Featured as Frommer’s Exceptional Choice in Toronto.

Telegraph review:

“The flagship property of the Toronto-based Four Seasons brand is pure five-star heaven. It maintains a glowing reputation for service and opulence on all fronts, and is a tip-top urban retreat for luxury travellers, special-occasion celebrants and incognito celebrities.”

Relaxing pre-Christmas stay

Pretty room and quite good service. Exceptional pool area.

It's definitely one of the more expensive hotels in Toronto, so expect to pay a lot for extras/room service/drinks/meals, etc. Somewhere to splurge and enjoy the luxury.

Good

Location was fantastic, facilities were great, staff were friendly.

Charging additional for internet. I thought that was cheap. When most places offer free wifi as complimentary, here you’ve a luxury hotel charging additional for internet. That was highly cheap.

Wedding

We stayed at the four seasons for our wedding weekend. The hotel and service are first class. On wedding morning. The grooms were getting dressed and there was a wardrobe issue where one of the grooms ripped pants. The hotel tailor on Canadian Thanksgiving Sunday fixed the pants in under 15 minutes saving the day. We will definitely be back

Great location, clean rooms, a little pricey compared to other better hotel experiences in TO

The Four Seasons is located right in the heart of Yorkville which as nice restaurants and is very close to the heart of downtown Toronto. All within walking distance. We booked a corner suite with a king bed, two bathrooms, and a living room. The room was very clean, had a reasonable bar selection, and used very high end Le Labo bath products which are made in New York. They're comparable to Aesop or Aqua di Parmi products. We asked for a firm mattress and memory foam pillows which was easily accommodated as well. The staff at the Four Seasons very much focus on personalization of your experience vs. The Ritz which feels a little less personalized. Overall a great stay.

For the price we paid for our room - north of $1,000 a night - I would expect the room to feel a little different, a little more modern perhaps. The furniture in the living room was tired and could use some updating along with some of the art on the walls. I often find some of the Four Seasons hotel rooms (not the hotels themselves) feel more like a fancy Marriott or fancy Hilton, but this is where the Ritz beats them out in my view, even the W hotel chains offer more unique rooms and experiences for a fraction of the price. The food was reasonable, but pricey. My wife and I had $150 breakfast of eggs benedict, pancakes, and a bagel sandwich. I'm very much ok with spending a $150 on breakfast, but the quality of the food just wasn't there. Again, the quality of the food at the Ritz in Toronto is 10 out 10 compared to the Four Seasons.

Pleasant

Staff is not fully trained. Often not responsive or they have no idea how to address or deal with customers.. bottom line here, it is crystal clear that they needed a lot of training to be up to the standard level of Four Seasons.

Bad

My money got stolen, 900 usd from my room. The amount for the hotel was credited twice. Such an unfortunate end to what started off as a lovely stay. Very disappointed

a great place to stay if you want a bit of pampering and you have loads of room on your credit card.

The location is close to the subway, many places such as Eaton Center and restaurants are walking distance.

room service and the bar are seriously over priced for what you get. not sure why a 4/5 star hotel is so cheap with small details like toilet paper which is the quality you expect to find in a truck stop.

terrible

nothing

Forget about luxury. It was not even a standard 5-star hotel. I felt like I had just booked a room at a 3-star hotel. *It was a last-minute booking. I arrived at 4:30, and the room was not ready till 6 o’clock!!!!!! I paid more than $900 for a night, but… *Bad smell in the room. *Hair drier without any nozzle attachment. *Heating could be set to max 24, not more. *No view from my room. view to other rooms!!! *Hair on the bed and floor. *iPad in the room didn’t work.

Dissatisfied & disappointed

The hotel is beautiful

The front desk was not accommodating at all. I was travelling with my fiancé, and the booking was in his name and they tried to deny our stay due to the fact that I had my id with me in my purse and his was with the bell boy. Just made this extra complicated. Then the bell boy came so we could grab the id, and left our bags on the ground in the lobby, which I found super unprofessional. Obviously we then moved our own luggage to our room after we checked in. When we were leaving we went to the front desk to as them to hold our luggage, again the gave us a headache and said we had to bring it ourselves outside to the bell boy, meanwhile there was luggages ar the front desk and off to the side, which I found strange again. They couldn’t book us a single reservation, not even for the cafe downstairs for breakfast the next day. At first told us we could get late check out then called to say “sorry we actually have another guest coming in so you’ll need to leave exactly at 12”. I’ve stayed at many hotels for the same price or even cheaper and have been treated better. Maybe at this location you need to build a profile, but we have one at the hotel down the street and we will definitely be choosing to stay there moving forward. Very dissatisfied/ disappointed
