Nice urban vibe

There was a party on the 14th floor until past 0:3:00 am - we should of been offered a significant rebate or room on another level. We were on 13th floor.

Amazing design, I love the color they chose, and the lobby is definitely stunning!!!! Got a chance to try their restaurant downstairs, and the food is amazing, really feel like home staying there.

Breakfast was great and reasonably priced.

That you had to pay for tea and no coffee in room. Tea and coffee bags should be complimentary.

The staff were great at check-in. We got lucky, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, which we appreciated. The restaurant and lobby bar were great, the rooftop was amazing, and it was fun late at night with live music. Central location, comfortable beds, and clean. We would stay again for sure.

The only thing that was not great was that our window looked directly into another building, and the non black out curtain did not go all the way down, so there was a serious lack of privacy.

Beautifully presented and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our last dinner at the hotels’s restaurant was stunning!

Location is amazing. Close to everything, with good public transport nearby. Amazing staff. One of the rare rooftop bars in Toronto. Such comfortable bed. For European travellers, they have non detachable showers.

Staff were helpful upon arrival and even let me check in early as the room was already available. Just opposite is a nice little park and a food hall which I tried out. The downstairs lobby has coffee which I had in the morning a couple of times as well. I walked all around Toronto when I was there and it was only about a 20 minute walk to the city centre. There are a lot of bars and coffee places nearby and not that far from some retail areas like The Well or a longer walk to Eaton Centre. My room had a good view over the park and as well.

Excellent location. Very clean comfortable hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful. The almond croissants in the lobby for breakfast were spectacular.

No complimentary water in the room. Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast choices

Is well located, walking distance from Union Station. The installations looks clean and is very nice the hotel.

Restaurant prices are quite high for breakfast.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop bar was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been lovelier to our intergenerational group. Loved the location and the Waterworks Food Hall next door. Great part of Toronto for easy access to anything. Beautiful park just outside.

Not having coffee or (free) tea in the room. Or any snacks where it didn't feel like a corporate partnership. Having to pay for a teabag felt a little mean for such a lovely hotel. I really didn't need the bourbon/full-size wine bottle/tequila in the room - just a simple kettle.

Really loved our stay! Great location and comfortable rooms to come back to after a day of walking. It was great to have the lobby bar and the rooftop bar as options to get a drink. We were upgraded to a room in a higher floor for my birthday and they sent of a slice of coconut cream pie which was absolutely divine. The location is perfect and we were right near a park which was lively with families, dogs, and people just enjoying the day.

Because our room was high up, we were right below the rooftop bar which was loud on friday and saturday night. We always bring earplugs so it wasn't a big issue. It would have been tough to sleep without them, though!

There isn’t housekeeping everyday. You can ask for more but sometimes it’s nice to just have it done without asking. You get a mini clean everyday but this didn’t include making the bed, it was mainly replenishing supplies

The room size was great. Separate showers with fully tiled bathroom was a bliss. The view on the park was amazing. I actually never experience seeing the CN tower from my bathroom window while doing my business, so I guess that's off the bucket list!

The lobby seemed overcrowded at times, which is understandable. They could be a bit more accommodating with parking as $30/day seemed to me a bit hostile.

The hotel is super stylish, the lounge bar has a great vibe, and the location is excellent, walkable to the CN tower, Roger’s centre, and great restaurants nearby.

Better choice for us and cheaper for family elsewhere.

The location, ground level cafe which turns into a bar in the PM is great. The restaurant is fine.

The rooms need a good touch up as the environment including eh shower and electrical appliances are a tad worn. My TV in the room was broken and I had to move to another room which was even more worn than the one I originally was in.

The hotel is very chic in a great location. The lobby bar has a cool vibe, great drinks, and a DJ in the evening playing great music.

Room service was pretty slow in the morning but they comped it for us due to the delay. There’s no coffee in the room and the tea is extra, which should be included given the price point.

Staff are super accommodating. They even upgraded our room for my birthday. The restaurants are fantastic. Shout out to Marc at the rooftop bar who gave exceptional service and Patience at the front desk. Will be back!

Great vibe, comfortable rooms, nice staff, amazing restaurant, delicious coffee, quiet, comfortable and still right in the heart of the city.

Loved the window sill view in the room and lounging in our robes watching the city go by.

Dogs should be allowed in the lounge area

Nice jazz radio welcoming us on arrival, very clean room, the body wash smelled excellent and amazing mocktails on the rooftop. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful!

There was no fan exhaust in the room, hardly any vegan options on any menus, inconsistent water temperature in the shower, and no handheld shower head.

I love the hotel and the amenities but the water never got hot for the showers or the bathtub :( this is my second stay at this location and both times have been the same.

Very cool decor. The rooms were practically sound proof which was awesome for sleep.

Light in the desk area for doing makeup etc would be nice.

I asked for a very quiet room and was given one. Lovely staff. We had a small room but it was very well designed and felt very spacious

our family wanted to have an experience with your Michelin Star restaurant. however it was fully booked for the holidays! I thought as hotel guests we will be given a spot on short notice but no harm done though. next time we will book in advance.

We loved the architecture and the sleak atmosphere especially in the evening but all of the natural light, cement pillars in the lounge area the calming colours gave it almost a cathedral grove, west-coast-forest sense of grandour. I loved the carpet design in the elevator, exposed cement ceilings and tile patterns but it all looked incredible. My wife and I are picky when it comes to aesthetic and I wanted to treat her for her birthday and go somewhere nice. Many of the hotels did not interest me when I was looking, often times the branding and interior-style of the hotel looked repetetive or maybe a bit classy but boring nontheless. Many of those places asked a much higher price per night and they turned us off. Ace hotel was different. The price worried me at first because the pictures and reviews looked incredible so I was confused at the cost being more reasonable than hotels I found to be less exciting while I browsed. Initially I had the Drake or Gladstone in mind but they asked nearly double the price I believe, and for most young people; (unless they are on a business trip) do not want to pay a large fraction of their rent money to stay in a hotel. A hotel like Ace favours a wider demographic and creates a reasonable opportunity to experience a stay that will leave a lasting impression. My wife and I are also likely to return because of our wonderful experience and because we could actually afford to stay in a place that inspired us. The location was perfect, just being tucked in off of Spadina was conveiniant. We walked up to Kensington for brunch, checked in at Ace and returned to College Street to hit Bar Raval, Bar Clams and a few other spots our friends we were visiting had picked out. That evening, I had made a reservation at Aloette but we both were magnetically pulled into Ace lounge for one more cocktail before bed. We couldn't have asked for a more inspirinf day in the city. The Ace just topped our hotel list. Well done!

Unfortunately, my Wife and I missed breakfast because we were too comfortable in our toasty, slick looking room. We had to move onto the lunch menu. As much as we craved breakfast, the gem salad, steak frites and ricotta toast w/ coffee hit the spot and we were off for day two of galavantinf. (We had no really complaints or concerns, everything was spot on)

Great location to nearby restaurants. Hotel lobby bar and rooftop lounge were amazing.

I was informed parking in the nearby lot would be reimbursed at checkout however parking was not reimbursed and was an additional charge.

Design was lovely and beds were comfortable. Good location as well.

There were renovations being done on the ground floor during our stay, while I understand these things have to be done, we would have appreciated a heads up that some of the facilities advertised would not be available prior to booking and paying full price for our stay.

I was moved to an upgraded room because my precious room wasn'r entirely clean. The employee Conner was super friendly and helpful! I also loved how there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Good location, there’s a nice restaurant downstairs, cute aesthetic.

The reservation / payment was a big nightmare. Before our stay, they held funds on our credit card - idk why but hotels usually just hold like a dollar before booking to check the validity of the card we’ve inputted also when we booked, booking.com says pay at the hotel! Caught us off guard! When we checked in, they held off funds again amounting to the total amount of our stay plus 300 dollars safety deposit incase something goes wrong. And another set of funds held off when we checked out which was the total amount of our reservation. This was sooooooo incredibly frustrating if you’re traveling and needing funds as they take away a lot of your available balance! This needs to change as not everyone has high credit limits! What if we used our lower limit credit card for this - we’re left high and dry with pending funds that btw was returned a week after.

Amazing ambience and a great space. Rooms are a little small but it’s a great location. Lovely esthetic.

No official parking, which can be a pain if you arrive on Saturday. Hotel should work out a formal agreement with the parking lots attendants, especially on weekends.

The room was beautiful and comfortable with a great view, loved sitting on the window bench watching the park. Loved the robes and blanket on the bed and the fully stocked mini bar. Even though we had a small room it was still set up with so much functionality and style that it felt luxury. The jazz playing on the radio when we arrived was perfect. Location was great, there's a cool food hall across the street and many awesome restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Love having hooks by the door but would have moved them to the other side of the entry so jakets don't block the entry or light switch and thermostat. Loved the moodiness of the room but a light in the desk closet would have been awesome for getting ready. We were there during the TSwift concerts and prices were jacked up to triple the normal amount, most hotels did this so it's not just them but that's why I couldn't give a better rating for value.

the window view is excellent. The location is pretty safe and convenient, just 5min walk from a bus stop, and is close to downtown, the street is quiet and safe. Lobby is chill, the room is fashionable. Especially recommended for solo travelers!
