Located right smack in the center of Tokyo’s artsy district, the Claska Hotel is a great stay for anyone up for exploration off the convention vacation and onto a beaten and greatly entertaining path. It is known as Tokyo’s first boutique hotel and is located on Meguro Dori, a street known for its second hand furniture stores, art galleries, artist studios and design shops. While public transportation may not be ideal for exploring this area, the hotel offers custom-made Tokyo bikes that guests can use for exploring and adventuring. Having the wind blowing in your hair is the best way to make the most of your stay.
With clean lines and minimalistic influence, this Tokyo Hotel is stunningly beautiful especially as it includes a few uniquely designed rooms by talented artists. Zen yet modern, the rooms contain tatami floors and pebble like cushions, custom designs created by individual Japanese designers like Kayo Sato. All rooms are equipped with technology like Blu-ray player, iPod dock, flat screen TV and telephone.
