This is a great little hotel close to the centre of the city, surrounded by restaurants and numerous convenience stores. The breakfast was basic but absolutely fine and the hotel has thought carefully about how it can help guests: access to a free laundry, guide books and information about Taipei and Taiwan more generally and incredibly helpful staff who agreed to store one of our bags while we travelled around Taiwan for two weeks. We would definitely stay here again

Everything was great. Hotel position, staff, room and breakfast. It was my birthday, and the hotel staff even organized a cake and card to wish me a happy birthday. Great experience.

Well located base for a few days in Taipei. The staff were super-friendly, and the facilities and thoughtful extras were amazing - free dumplings, drinks and snacks in the afternoons, noodles for guests at night, mini-bar with drinks for free, washing machine for guests, great breakfast just to name a few. They really went out of their way to ensure you had what you needed for a good budget-friendly stay,

The hotel was great for its cost. staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The complimentary amenities were a surprised addition. And was a good base to rest after a long day exploring.

I wish i had done more research on the location of the hotel in relation to things we wanted to do/experience. We had to travel upwards of 10-20 mins to get to any night markets or tourist hot spots.

Best customer service we’ve ever experienced in a hotel!! Big shout out to Kim, who helped us buy bus tickets and give us some recommendations for the next stops on our tour.

We stayed in the Tianjin Branch.
The location is perfect , within walking distance to the nearest underground station Zhongshan and also to the main station Taipei where we can check in our luggage 3 hours before our flight departure.
There is a bank just across the main street for exchanging to local new Taiwanese dollars. Also a night market and a very big underground book shop. Shopping is available everywhere nearby.
The famous Dumpling restaurant, Ding Tai Fung, is situated very near to the hotel where we could enjoy the delicious soup dumplings and other local specialties.
The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. Especially the kitchen staff, she even showed us the sauce they used! We loved the breakfast which offers both Asian and European style foods.
The hotel has also service for ordering the famous Taiwanese pineapple cakes for the guests which was very convenient.
I would definitely recommend this hotel in Taipei.

It is understandable that the room is a bit small as it is situated in the city center.
For a couple of days, it is good enough and we can store our four luggages under the table without any problem.

This facility is very clean. The hotel staff team was excellent. The free breakfast was delicious with new menu each day. We really love this hotel.

Quite some distances from MRT station

Every time I visit Taipei, I stay at this hotel. I've stayed a few times now. The staff is very warm and friendly. The rooms, while modest, are comfortable and clean. The neighbourhood is great and well located. I will continue to stay here on my next trips.

I can't praise enough the young people who staff the front desk both night and day. Their English was good; they were friendly, helpful, and generous with their time. Kim and the young woman at night deserve kudos.
Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hurray for bidet toilets!
Breakfast had diverse options, mostly Asian, but the black tea pitcher kept running out.
The hotel is about three blocks away from a MRT station, and the MRT system is superb. While we were in Taipei, we felt it was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go.

We needed a stopover on our way home and this Dandy Hotel was excellent for that: we arrived late in the day and check-in was fast to allow us to settle in quickly. In the morning, breakfast was both good and unhurried. We also left our bags while we explored the sights and the staff were both obliging and efficient.

There was nothing we didn’t like here

Location is best among the 5 hotels we stayed in Taipei. Decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean and comfortable family room, good wifi , functional washers and dryers. there is a luggage scale in the lobby, which I didn't see it in other hotels that we stayed.

I could not think of anything that we did not like.

Lovely hotel and staff - especially Kim and the other lady who was with Kim in the same shift at the reception desk (she helped me with my laundry). Two the kindest people on earth. The hotel is very clean and a great location. Highly recommended! If I ever returned to Taipei, I would definately stay there again.

The Hotel is nett and clear! The staff are very friendly, especially Kim from Front desk and the two aunties from breakfast area. The breakfast is vers good, the coffie machine can be used all day.

The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful.
The location was great with Zhongshan (red and green lines) station about 8min away, Taipei Main (red, HSR and regular rail) station about 12-15min away and Shandao Temple (blue line).

It’s a 3* hotel so rooms are pretty basic and theres no space to unpack your clothing apart from a small rack over the table (random!).
The breakfast is ok but choices are somewhat limited.
