The breakfast is quite good. It caters to both eastern and western tastes. The location is very convenient for touring Taipei. The underground train system takes us everywhere we want to go. From Taoyuan airport, one can take the AirPort Express to Taipei train station, then take a taxi to the hotel. After we got to know the underground train system, we took it from Zhongshan station to Taipei station—1 stop—then connect to AirPort Express to Taoyuan airport when we leave Taiwan. There are many eateries around the hotel for the east and west palates, from very cheap to very expensive. Regardless, they are all good eats. There are also many coffee shops around, wherever one only cares for the caffeine or for the origin and processing methods, he will find a coffee shop that suits him. We also like the laundry facilities in the hotel. We can wash our clothes, which allows us to travel light.

The bath tub could be a bit hard for older people to get in and out. We are able body and still have to be careful. Maybe a handle bar installed at the end of the tub by the shower screen door would help. The bathroom wall is glass. If someone use the bathroom at night, the light will brighten the whole room. A roll up screen can help keep the light out at night. (We love the glass wall during the day. It makes the room brighter.)

Great staff, most helpful of our three week trip, location excellent, beat and largest and most comfortable bed. Lots of what other hotels would charge for were included.

Lovely hotel and staff - especially Kim and the other lady who was with Kim in the same shift at the reception desk (she helped me with my laundry). Two the kindest people on earth. The hotel is very clean and a great location. Highly recommended! If I ever returned to Taipei, I would definately stay there again.

The Hotel is nett and clear! The staff are very friendly, especially Kim from Front desk and the two aunties from breakfast area. The breakfast is vers good, the coffie machine can be used all day.

No shower stall, only a bathtub

The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The location was great with Zhongshan (red and green lines) station about 8min away, Taipei Main (red, HSR and regular rail) station about 12-15min away and Shandao Temple (blue line).

It’s a 3* hotel so rooms are pretty basic and theres no space to unpack your clothing apart from a small rack over the table (random!). The breakfast is ok but choices are somewhat limited.

Excellent service and location- super walkable and close to both MRT and HSR train stations!

Great location. Nice room and staff. They allowed us to store our luggage while waiting to go to the airport.

Room is a little small, and bathroom could be a bit cleaner, although was fine overall.

We travelled for a holliday. The hotel is a small boutique hotel. Extremely clean with daily room cleaning and towels change. The area seems to be upmarket with luxurius shops, great restaurants conveniontly located to a MTR Station.

The breakfast was plenty and they tried to satisfy different tastes but II found it to be on average quality. It was included in the price so I am not sure if it brings extra value but I wouldn't miss it..there are plenty breakfast options nearby. Also the staff was very polite and try to be helpful..I just wished they spoke better English..

I think this goes for most hotels in Taipei, that walls are thin and you can hear people in other rooms, but here it was quiet at night during all of our 8 nights stay.

The balcony was nice and it was easy to check in and out. Breakfast is very good as well. The hotel has many offers such as laundry service, tea and instant noodles for the busy ones available.

breakfast is ok for asian people but not for the people from european side. I was able to eat bread, butter and eggs only. the rest of the food was asian which i don't prefer to eat in breakfast

- good location close to metro station. Many restaurants on the same street as well as plenty of convenience stores. - the staff were incredibly nice friendly. We were offered instant noodles when we arrived as it was quite late. - our room was smaller than we expected but not a big deal. It was absolutely fine for our needs. - we had breakfast on our last day and although the selection was small it was enough and filling.

- the room does not have any wardrobes with hangars. - if you're a couple with 2 large suitcases it may be difficult to move around since the space is quite small. - on one of the days the hotel had brand new carpet fitted across the whole building and it did wake us up when they started in the morning. The staff did inform us. We were just unlucky I guess. But they were pretty quick and it was all done by the time we got back.

The hotel is compact and very clean, with a warm and cozy ambiance. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need to start the day right. The location is perfect—everything you could want in Taiwan is nearby, from great restaurants and milk tea shops to convenience stores.

This is our third stay at this Dandy branch. Small, boutique place with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel was remodeled last year, clean, comfortable in a central location. There are many places to eat in the area, close by to major department stores yet in a small quiet street. Short walk to red and green subway lines.

Nothing I did not like. The newly modeled bathroom has glasswalls that is translucent, so if someone has to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, and turn on the bathroom light, the whole room will also get some light.

Location is very good. The hotel is clean and the staff is attentive. They have laundry and also offer cup of noodles late at night.

TBH we didn't expect much before we arrive, it's a 3-star after all. But the very second we checked in, we felt so welcomed. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Especially Kim, our favorite. She greeted us with bright smile every time we walked pass. Knowing this is our first trip to TW, she offered many advice on where to find good restaurants and night markets. Everyday she's excited to plan activities with us. I would give her 300/100 if I can. The hotel provides free snacks every night, which is a bonus. There's also free laundry and drying machine for guest to use, which is very handy for families stays for a longer holidays.

The hotel provides hour stay, so you may need to prepare your answer to "why is the lady next door crying and screaming?", asked by your young kids.

Dandy Hotels checks all the boxes for an exceptional hotel for its price point, e.g. good location, nearby MRT station and many eatries, clean and spacious room. I especially appreciate the warm service from all the staff. I'll definitely choose Dandy Hotel again when I'm back in Taipei.

The location was great near Zhongshan Station. Kim at the front desk was incredibly helpful. All the staff were great. Vlaue for money was also a standout.

There were a lot of elements of surprise staying here. Breakfast variation was not a lot but adequate, and they change it up everyday. The late night snacks sometimes appears which comes as a pleasant surprise. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Even got a birthday cake surprise on my birthday in a form of birthday cake. There's toys available which my kid enjoyed too

Wished it was even nearer to zhongshan station than it already is. To be fair it was about 5-10 mins walk but My kid was a bit tired

Staff is topnotch. Very kind and helpful. Location is very accessible. Close to the main station and close to shops, it even has a 711 and bars on the same road. There are also free snacks and noodles on the evening.

First time staying in this branch, all the front desk staffs are extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Kim, Caroline & Amanda. They gave me clear directions to some of the places I intended to visit. The room is spacious with an extra large bed and street view balcony. Breakfast spread is reasonable with good variety and the staffs are very friendly too. The hotel is thoughtful in providing afternoon tea snacks & instant noodles for supper. We had a great 4D3N stay here. Highly Recommended!

The staff, Caroline and Amanda, helped us find good restaurants nearby. The airport pickup fare is reasonable. It was an enjoyable experience staying at the Dandy Hotel.

The rotating breakfast buffet was excellent, with optionally across Asian and Western breakfasts and with variety day to day. While we didn’t take advantage of the opportunity, the coffee and snack bar throughout the afternoon and the late night ramen were superb offerings that makes any guest feel like they’re at home. Lastly, the people were great and the front desk staff was beyond accommodating—we took an overnight trip to Taichung and they were able to store our luggage for the night. Thank you, Dandy Hotel!

I loved everything about staying at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient, centrally located and close to the ningxia night market and to many restaurants and shops. My room was spacious, soundproof, extremely clean with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was rich in variety with both Asian and western offer, their coffee machine makes a nice espresso (which is not to underestimate!) and I liked the nice touch of the little cups with yogurt and coffee jelly. They do offer some valuable complimentary services like cup noodles past 9 pm and few others which I did not have a chance to use. However what I found most outstanding was the cordiality, dedication, kindness and proactivity of their staff, especially Kim who was fabulous with me. I have always known Taiwanese people to be the kindest, hospitable and caring people you can possibly meet and Kim is the quintessential of such character. She not only gave me lots of tips, advice and suggestion for my overnight stay in Taipei, she also helped me with tips for my next stops in Taiwan and followed up to see that I made it to the train station. She really made my stay even more enjoyable and yes I recommend this hotel 100%
