Q Station Harbour National Park Hotel, Sydney

Actually loved it, I wish we could have driven and parked at the room but I get why you can't drive around the site :)

It was Summer, air conditioning would have been nice, the room cooled down evenutally and we survived.

Heritage property so room was small but well furnished.

As no vehicles allowed on site we needed to use a shuttle bus to get around the site. Some times we had a long wait for the bus.

No Air con in our room! Makes it tricky with hot flushes …

I loved the beach area it is perfect paradise and the restaurant and bar adjacent were fantastic.

There is no aircon in the bedrooms. It was hot and there were no fly screens to let in any air considering how many insects are around the area. We had a rough sleep both nights as the rooms were so hot and the fan did nothing to cool down the room and was not even positioned over the bed… would not stay again unless aircon is installed. Would definitely be back during winter however!

I love this location and the peaceful atmosphere.

Lack of air-conditioning.

Lovely spot, views were amazing. The room was comfortable although we had some very noisy rear neighbours after having a room change due to fans not working. The restaurant dinner was exceptional, and breakfast was lovely too.

We were in awe of the beauty of the location. Perfect scenery, very quiet and private, modest room size which was reasonably clean. Reception and some staff members were friendly with ready smiles. The meals at the Boilerhouse Restaurant were terrific, buffet breakfast was hearty with the right varieties and selections. The private beach was very inviting which offers calm and serenity with the idyllic setting.

The thing I did not like is the missing toilet and bath in the rooms. Having them external is such a discomfort and inconvenience. The ceiling fan is making rattling noise such that I did not have a good sleep. The corridor in the toilet and shower facility needs a good clean from spiders and cobwebs.

Clean room, nice bed, great location

Tried to rent snorkelling equipment but the desk wasn't attended for >30 minutes so I just rented from a place in Manly town

- The location and view were amazing. Beautiful and quiet. Perfect for restful vacations - having access to a beach a few hundred meters from our room was stellar, and the beach itself was beautiful. - the cafe by the beach was also great, providing good coffee and basic but good snacks. - the shuttle service very well organise and operational!

- The shuttle to the Manly does not run enough times in the day, especially around lunch time (which would be prime time to leave the station). - Our room did not have a window nor AC, which meant that we had to leave the door open if we wanted some air at night. not ideal. - Breakfast was not a continental breakfast but an english breakfast, and relatively average in quality. Plus there is no proper coffee, only a do-all-kind-of-coffee machine.

Being out of the hustle and bustle. comfy bed and good shower. Staff were great and super easy to get the shuttle to and from Manly.

Didn't realise it had no air conditioning, but we had a nice breeze that came through the doors.

Service at the Boilerhouse restaurant was the only downer... while polite it wasn't very attentive. Food was good and value for money. We would have spent more on drinks and food if the staff had served us correctly.

The location & history of this hotel is so special. It creates a totally unique and interesting interested in the slightly different vibe that is expected from a normal jhorts.

Phone line in our bedroom was broken so made access to a shuttle a lot harder and the breakfast is the only one pm site.

Beautiful location and so serene. To be so close to everything Manly has to offer yet 10 minutes away you could be in the middle of nowhere!

We loved the historical environment and the nature around the buildings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was very nice too.

We had an overnight stay. I lived the location, the staff were great, the meal at night was great. I thought the room was incredibly basic and disappointing.

The room was very basic. It was like a basic motel room. There was nothing in the room that was in any way luxurious. Even in the heritage location, the rooms could have been far better.

Great views, pleasant staff and very clean. Recommend for quiet get away and if you want night life, Manly is 10 minutes away.

I totally appreciate no AC is permitted due to heritage, and this means the room can get stuffy. we can't wait to return but might wait till autumn to avoid hot humid summer. there were no tissues in the room.

The views were exceptional, wildlife was quiet and won't be seen anywhere else. The area is quiet and peaceful. No traffic driving around site other than site vehicles

The staff was very kind, and the view was beautiful. The beach was stunning and peaceful.

The buildings are old and in need of renovation. There was no wardrobe in the room at all. The room's amenities were inadequate, and we were not satisfied with the cleanliness either.

Beautiful location, the history, shuttle bus, access to the city via Manly ferry. Nearby walk to North Head Sanctuary was fabulous!

It would be better if the room had AC. It’s not too bad, cause there’s a ceiling fan, but it would be much more comfortable, for sure , being summer in our time there.

The location is stunning. The view over the bay is amazing and the historical buildings and the museum on site are worth a trip on their own. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly! I'll definitely come again!

The only think I could criticise is that there was no aircon or no fly screen on the windows.

Love the location and history of this area. It is a perfect retreat from a busy life.

Suggestion for the rooms in P23, it would be good to have a few hooks and towell racks in the bathroom.

It's a beautiful position in the national park. The room was better than expected and comfortable. Good views everywhere Shuttle within the property very frequent and never need to wait l.

The shuttle to Manly is quite limited if you don't have a car with you. It's a nice walk unless it's raining heavily.

I didn't realise we wouldn't be able to take a vehicle in all the way to our room, but being a National Park, I probably should have realised that.

It’s on North Head an amazing place to stay so much history as the quarantine station. One of the best locations in Sydney harbour.

It’s a bit remote no restaurants if u don’t want to go out for dinner you need to take your own. But there are no facilities to heat your food U can order Uber eats and a shuttle bus will bring it down to you but by the time it gets there it’s cold. Need to book into the biker house restaurant but only Fri sat night. 5.30 to 8.39pm

Excellent check in with Reception staff followed by a shuttle service that operated 24/7 that took you to your accommodation.

I wish the restaurant was open everyday. Other than that it was superb.
