Park Hyatt, Sydney

I was hoping to have a bridge view, but the view we did have we could see the Opera House to one side and it was very pretty. We were fortunate that the weather allowed us a lot of balcony time. I cannot fault this hotel, it is expensive but something I would try and include in my holiday budget. My friend and I wanted to use the room (as opposed to just sleep in there) & we did have some down time to use it. Fresh towels every day. That in itself is a luxury as other hotels do not necessarily do this. The breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast I have ever had!! Oh and the toilet in our room ....... don't be afraid to push those buttons!!! :-)

Sparkling mineral water served in the restaurant smelt so badly as to make in un drinkable.. Still water was fine

Primo location, super clean, friendly staff. Rooftop pool the best. Make sure you pay the extra and get a harbour/opera house view.

Everything to love about this stunning hotel. Our first time staying here. We had a couples staycation for just one night and I didn’t want to leave. The view was beautiful, the room was luxurious and had exert detail you’d expect and bed so comfy. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Will be making this a quarterly thing. Wish it was monthly. Treat yourself and book.

Absolutely loved our stay. I have always wanted to stay at Park Hyatt. So decided to book us there for my Husband’s( of 60 years) 86th Birthday…..Definitely a memorable two days. Thank you…….

Great location right by the waters edge. Rooms are very spacious and the decor very pleasant. The rooftop pool is stunning. Staff very nice and efficient. A special shout out to the guys who handle luggage and parking. They provide a very nice welcome

Fantastic location, great breakfast and service

Our room was on ground floor that has no view of the harbor and was too close to pedestrian walkway and we had to keep the curtains down. Knowing that it was our first time staying in their hotel and it was our anniversary it would have been appreciated if they gave us a better room.

We didn’t realize the card for deposit need to be the same card with the card making booking. This is inconvenient when i booked a room for my family member who does not live in Australia and may cause unnecessary international payment fee. Eventually we have to issue a refund which won’t arrive to my account for 5+ days and make another payment. Would be great to optimize this process or at least to clarify this during booking.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable in my opinion. The rooms are bright and spacious with large comfortable beds. The rooftop pool and hot tub are drop dead gorgeous with views across to the opera house and above to the bridge.

The Breakfast service is chaos. Lots of staff but plates are not cleared. It is haphazard ordering from the hot food menu. It needs some organisation.

Co-ordinating services was awkward . It was my daughter’s birthday & we were having an overnight spa-cation to celebrate & there are no “special occasion” insights. The dining discount was offered on arrival - too late to cancel elsewhere & the spa services didn’t tie into the pool & sauna. The staff & care were excellent however we felt disappointed when the casual dining was booked out for lunch, after our treatments.

The staff were fabulous and when they found out we were there for a special anniversary they brought complementary champagne to the room. The room was lovely and had everything you could need.

The location is perfect for enjoying The Opera House, The Rock, The Botany Garden, and Vivid.

Because of weather conditions, the Vivid Walk was canceled.

Only comment was that the pillows were very soft. Not sure if there were extra pillows in cupboard.

My expectations were surpassed .

The locations and views from the rooms are the most iconic you can get in Sydney. All staff were attentive and polite, particularly in the restaurants. Water pressure in the shower was perfect and bed very comfortable.

Whilst Sydney did have quite crazy wet weather on the day we checked in, the doors to the balcony were leaking as were different parts of the hallway leading to the room - Park Hyatt is an older hotel so it would appear they need some building maintenance.

We stayed for my daughter's 18th birthday. From the moment we arrived we felt like the most important people in the world. The beds were heavenly, the food yummy and every staff member was lovely, kind and thoughtful many remembering my daughter's birthday and wishing her happy birthday every time they saw her. My daughter was given flowers as well on arrival. A truly special place to stay and worth every cent.

this hotel has long been on my bucket list. the location is wonderful. great views of the bridge and opera house. short walk into the CBD and the historic Rocks area. the hotel very kindly upgraded us to room 211. the view of the opera house was incredible. we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. be sure to use the fabulous roof top pool and hot tub
