Great location. Good size room.

Hard to get picked up and dropped off coz of the entrance in a narrow lane way. The rooms are quite dark even with all the lights on. No power point in the bathroom. The step in the middle of the room is a bit of a trip hazard especially with the dim lighting. It can be a bit noisy during the night with homeless people fighting.

Amazingly attentive staff

The Establishment Hotel is in a very convenient location. Close to many restaurants and bars. It is also a short walk to Circular Quay and the heart of the city. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Good coffee available downstairs in the adjoining bar.

The room was poorly lit, and quite dated. The shower would benefit from being retiled and a larger mirror installed in the bathroom. While the bed was comfortable, we did expect a King size bed for the price of the room. The most noticeable anomaly was that the hot water took at least 2-3 minutes (even longer) to flow through. Quite a deal of water is wasted waiting until you can shower. Past reviews highlighted the street and bar noise; however, this is something we did not notice.

I love this hotel! It's such a surprise as you walk down the alley to enter the serenity of the lobby. The first impression is the calm it evokes with the lighting and soft scent of incense, it's transporting. The room was beyond expectations, very big and the bed very comfortable. The large bathtub open between the bedroom and bathroom was fantastic! Of course, if you stay here a dinner at Mr. Wong's next door is a must! Make a reservation. The staff was excellent and answered all my questions.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The comfortable hotel felt cool and quiet in the middle of a hot bustling Australia Day weekend. We were close enough to walk everywhere that we needed to go - galleries, markets, pubs in the Rocks and the coastal walk around Barangaroo.

All good generally - no view but we didnt need one as we were out and about for the whole weekend.

Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. So very close to Circular Quay and many excellent shops, restaurants, tourist spots and transportation options. The price was very reasonable.

The reception staff were excellent - very efficient and friendly. Lovely spacious room which was very comfortable and included 2 armchairs. Bathroom was very large and included double sinks. Bed was very very comfortable. Location was excellent, very close to Circular Quay and the Opera House

Looked a little tired in places in the corridors. The room number signage was a lighted display on floor so not easy to recognise when you arrive.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the aircon super cold. The staff were very friendly and I appreciated the phone call the day before. Location is perfect for having a night out.

The location between the Rocks and Pitt Street was perfect for our overnight.

It was a bit hard to find, discreet signage. The Bar was also closed on public holiday, which we were not aware of prior to booking.

Beautiful hotel, in a great location. The staff were so helpful making our one night stop very enjoyable. The bedroom was large with every amenity offered, beautifully designed and very comfortable. We were ten minutes walk to circular quay with train stop just outside door. Will definitely be back.

Reception staff very welcoming & offered all sorts of assistance. Bed was comfortable. Location is very good. Very well catered for with beveridge items, ironing, toiletries.

The bathroom sliding door was very heavy & hard to close/open. The shower area tiles were ingrained with a lot of black mould & the bathroom sliding door also contained a lot of visible mould at its shower end.

Hotel bar closed for private parties on Friday and Saturday nights. Front bar was open but extremely busy

The carpet was so so dirty and stained ubee, it was the first thing you notice when you walk in the room. Only got 2 coffee capsules and then you must pay for extra. At a hotel for this price per night, I would expect more coffee.

Room was great and despite the reviews about 'noise' we did not experience any nuisance of 'noise' Location of the hotel is perfect to explore Sydney, most is walking distance and trains and buses around the corner.

shower temperature was malfunctioning which we told the staff but no improvement noticed :-( for sure this is a room specific topic... hotel bar was very quiet - not really appealing to visit... Maybe the time of the year)

Return stay, while not the room layout we expected or pictured in the booking, still comfortable and well appointed. Staff are attentive and make check in very pleasant.

Things a little worn and scuffed. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was adequate but not as good as usual.

Stylish. Bigger than we were expecting and part of the bigger ‘establishment’ enterprise meant we did not have to travel far for before dinner drinks at Mr Wongs which was also on site. Walking distance to Pitt St shopping. Was a great stay.

Parking was down the road and a bit of a hike. Steep entry meant our car did scrape underneath gaining entry. Didn’t seem quite so bad on exiting.

Brekkie was a tad cold. No mixers in fridge.

The rooms are modern, funky and uniquely different to the common hotel room. It really felt like a special place to be.

Noisy. Room lightening was terrible. Difficult to read a newspaper. Impossible for a woman to put on make up. I think the car park pricing was extortionate. Room felt tired and needed refurbishing.

Convenience to clubs, bars and dinning. Staff were amazing. Extra amenities. Bed and Pillows were very comfortable and a good sleep was so happy with the stay.

Needs a refurb especially the bathroom. Shower water goes all over bathroom floor and needed to use the towels to dry it up. Some areas like level foyers (not reception) smell, level two foyer, foyer area to Palmer and Co had a very bad smell.

I like it due to nostalgia.

It wasn’t super clean, didn’t have enough ammenities - walls are paper thin.
