Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Loved the bath and the shower was actually like a waterfall.

Lightswitches hard to locate from the bedroom. Block out blinds still let some light in but didn't bother me that much. Some noise from outside but also not a bother.

Good location, good size of bedroom and bathroom. Very good and friendly customer service and allowed me check in early.

Less Noise control between between the room and corridor as I can hear clearly while people talking on the corridor.

The location is fabulous, the room is massive and very unique. The lighting can be dimmed. The staff were incredibly friendly. Housekeeping were good and always tidied the room even when heading out later in the day. e rooms need some tlc

Unfortunately the room was a bit worn. The tiles were all cracked and stained. Some soft furnishings had stains. And not all light switches worked in the room, having to turn off lights at the entrance. There are no power-points or usb chargers on the bedside table or bedhead. Due to the location it is quite loud, but earplugs are provided. However, in the morning it is also loud with housekeeping trolleys and rubbish trucks. Room to room the walls seem great, no noises could be heard, however you can hear everything from the corridors.

The bath was uncomfortable and the plug didn’t fit so the water kept running out, pretty minor in the grand scheme of things though

The staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The location was great and the bed very comfortable.

Unfortunately the guests in the adjoining room were very, very noisy. The staff quickly acted on this when notified :)

It’s room service menu is a pick of the nearby restaurants. I had already gone out for dinner but myself and a friend could not resist ordering some Mr Wong duck pancakes for a late night room treat. Staff are also super friendly and helpful.

It is right in the heart of bars and restaurants which is great in the evening but I was on the 2nd floor so the noise from the bar underneath was coming through the floor. Wasn’t super noisy and thanks to a few drinks earlier I still slept ok but would not recommend for someone who is prioritising a good night sleep.

Situated in a great location. We parked the car and did not use it for the 3 days. We walked everywhere. Staff were very accomodating and understanding upon a situation which occurred while we stayed there. The room smelt extremely clean and disinfected well upon our arrival. It was very comfortable. Could not work out the modern light switches. From arrival to bags placed in our room The Establishment were excellent. Always greeted you when you entered the foyer as did the cleaning staff.

The telephone in the room we were in first did not work very well. We tried a number of times to call reception and it took a long time to get it connected having to jiggle the plug many times. We had some disturbance of noise from other people staying there which I would say is unusual mostly and the staff did their best to ask them to be quiet but unfortunately to no avail. I think it is disrespectful of those people. We were moved to another room the next day which we appreciated immensely and were taken care of for the inconvenience. The Establishment cared for us very well. As far as the lights we just could not work them out...modern technology! haha The lifts were a little dodgy and there was one that seemed to be out of order for most of our stay. Friday evening the streets were going off and noisy but this did not go past midnight and was to be expected. This was outside of the accomodation. It did not keep us awake to the early hours of the next morning.

Boutique hotel in a great location in Sydney, situated in an old factory building with a range of connected restaurants with excellent food and service. Large and well equipped rooms truly different from conventional hotel chain rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast but be in time for it because it will be prepared in one of the restaurants and brought over.

Noise. A rooftop bar around the corner that hammered us with music until 1am every night + a loud quarrel among drunk hotel guests on our 7th floor at 2am that went on for half an hour unnoticed by the reception desk. Maybe this is why guests are provided with earplugs in the bathroom? Guess the factory windows could be equipped with another window pane from the inside? Not exactly what you expect from a luxury accommodation with excellent facilities and staff.

The room was beautiful! I was surprised with a bath that made the stay exceptional. The room was very clean, cosy and beautifully styled.

My only complaints were: I woke up at 5am and headed to do a work out at the gym before I had to leave but the gym doesn’t open until 7am! Pretty big issue and a bit off putting to stay here again is it’s definitely a party hotel. I was really in need of a good night sleep and should have known better as the rooms are situated in between two bars. A group had obviously booked a room to continue on their “heavy partying”, I was woken up several times by people partying in the hallway and slamming doors. I called reception but obviously they couldn’t get a handle on it (I don’t blame them, people can be difficult). I guess that’s what the silicone ear plugs are there for which actually worked well enough.

Requested bottle of bubbly on arrival - provided free of charge by the concierge.

Offered overnight parking was expensive for weekend night.

Location was fantastic for my work trip - right around the corner from the office, and a short walk to Circular Quay also.

I thought the noise levels were too high - I realise that part of this may come from the heritage nature of the building, but very loud traffic noise all night made me use earplugs. I have never had to use earplugs in a hotel before. The light levels were also too bright - I was in a room opposite and close to a fully lit office block and the blinds were not sufficient to darken the room so it was too bright all night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite being in a hotel, it feels personal and almost like you have the place to yourself.

The lift is very slow!

Spacious, well presented rooms in an excellent location. Will be back.
