Hotel The Langham, Sydney

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate for a little treat to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The photos don't do the hotel justice and the buffet breakfast was superb (Highly recommend to add it to your bookings).

Absolute luxury, every little detail was perfection, down to the heated towel rail. Amazing in room dining. The hotel was quiet and beautifully fragranced.

Wonderful hotel. Really comfortable and a super location to be able to walk into the Sydney CBD as well as “The Rocks”.

The Observatory bar was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and worked professionally to serve everyone. We loved our evening drinks in this space. the location is great, close to Wynard and Barangaroo for transport and a short walk to Circular Key.

Sadly, they have some work being done and we had a leaked into our bathroom with work being done above. While they apologised for the inconvenience caused with having to move on our last day, they moved us to another larger room that had issues as well (tap feel off and window louvre dislodged). They did provide a small financial credit.

Wonderful stay in a lovely comfortable hotel. Location perfect for walking to ‘the rocks’ and to the city centre.

The staff are so warm and welcoming. The facilities are first class and the rooms so beautiful. My son loved the pool. And the breakfast has lots of options but isn’t too crowded

The staff were flawless, they tidied the room whenever we went out, but we never saw them. The bed was enormous with high quality linen so we slept well. Finally the pool and steam room were wonderful.

The construction site for the casino was a distraction from the view up the harbour, but it's nearly finished .

The Langham is an exceptional property. Staff are fantastic, room was large, spacious and incredibly comfortable. Location is great, 5 minutes walk to The Rocks with plenty of transport and restaurant options nearby.

Breakfast was a bit repetitive.

A beautiful hotel, very luxurious. The rooms were large, beautifully decorated and the staff were welcoming.

There were some issues receiving my invoice as the wifi was down on departure and the emailed invoice wouldn’t open. The curtains in the main room were difficult to pull across. The tv reception broke up continuously. I was disappointed there wasn’t an option to eat in the restaurant as that was one of the main reasons for booking this particular hotel.

The lifts seemed uncoordinated - there were two, yet whenever I got in one to go in one direction it invariably went the other way first to pick someone else up or drop them off. A minor annoyance but it struck me as odd.

All the staff were very well presented, beginning with the friendly chap at the parking bay and front doors. Everyone very polite and efficient. The pool and steam room facilities were clean and the pool was huge and really pretty. Bar was comfy with lovely cocktails and room was spacious and clean. Doonas were super snuggly. Housekeeping was prompt and professional.

Car parking, whilst it didn't bother us too much this time but it's a shame it's valet-only and so costly. Definitely cheaper to park in public parking pre-booked if you don't mind the walk. A little difficult to catch some of the details given by reception staff and we were told brekkie finished at 8.30 but it was definitely later. Hours at pool slightly reduced on public holiday and I would've loved to have a bit longer in the evening for a swim after families had vacated. Pricey, and we booked for an occasion but it was worth the stay. Lovely.

Quality hotel with really good pool and bar. Staff were exceptional with their service.

Some nearby building works were a bit disruptive in the morning but not the hotels fault.

Very comfortable room and bed. Brilliant location in "the Rocks" area close to the CBD and the harbour. Approx 5-10 minute walk to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Perfect.

The advertised award winning restaurant was closed which was a disappointment especially as we had an e-mail a couple of days before our arrival welcoming us and inviting us to join them for lunch or dinner in our Harbour Room and Observatory Bar. Only the Observatory Bar was open.

The hotel was serene and staff were always available but not overbearing. We were given the sense that we were the only guests both in the level of effort and care that was shown to us and by the genuine peace and quiet of our beautiful room.

The coffee - it’s a small, in fact, a tiny thing but I could swear my cappuccino was made with UHT milk which I hate - but I’m struggling to find anything we really didn’t like
