Beautiful old buildings. We stay here regularly as it’s so central but has a wonderful calm feel.

Room 1 for this stay which was lovely just a little bit noisier than some rooms as next to the main door.

Clean and modern.

The extra roll away bed for my 16yr old was $120pn - we stayed 2 nights. This seems excessive.

Location -Atmosphere-warm and friendly staff - breakfast menu allowed for dietary requirements.

Unlike large hotels this hotel was so personal and the staff were so lovely. They knew us by the end and we felt sad to leave.

The stairs but you don't get the old building and amazing views without hard work.

The airconditioning is very dissapointing. I was really hot at night. I looked at the AC and put it onto the cool mode rather than winter mode, but the air hardly came out of the airconditioning vents and in the middle of winter, I was overheated so really did not sleep well. I was also unable to call for help as the phone in my room did not work to be able to call reception which was frustrating.

Location is perfect, close to everything in a beautiful neighborhood but also very quiet. Room (top floor, room 10) is beautiful with a view to the city. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

It is four flights of stairs to the top floor (Room 10) which I didn't mind but if you have access needs, or a heavy suitcase, you will need to request a room on the ground floor. It was also quite cold, I think the aircon wasn't working. This didn't bother me and probably could be fixed if I had asked (which I didn't feel the need to).

Fabulous location in the most beautiful boutique hotel! Phillip, Kate and all the girls couldn't have been more lovely and welcoming 😊 Very quiet and incredibly comfortable, we had a relaxing time while staying in Sydney for a few nights. Cafés, restaurants and bakery just around the corner, special mention to Nung Len Thai! Walking distance to the Royal Botanic Gardens and Circular Quay. 5⭐️

The property is in a fantastic location with many restaurants nearby and great shopping too. The room was a good size and nicely designed with fine linens and towels. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant aiming to make guests comfortable and happy. The welcome drink was a nice touch and the evening cookie tray a plus! Fabulous property.

This hotel is a great find. The location is fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly, personable and helpful, the breakfast absolutely delicious. If you can, get a room with the veranda.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location. The staffwere very friendly and helpful.

Climbing the stairs! The staff helped with the luggage at checkin. However, at checkout, we left very early in the morning when staff were not available. It was a struggle to have to take the stairs with and without luggage. A lift/elevator would be an excellent addition!

Breakfast was cooked to perfection. All staff were excellent especially Lana who gave us two homemade cakes to take with us. She was very knowledgeable about the area and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay.

We had paid for breakfast and would have thought that orange juice should have been included in the price rather than a paid extra. Just my personal view.

Our daughter had room 1 near front entrance & adjacent to restaurant area so could be some disturbance

The entire place is beautiful. We paid for the parking at a very reasonable price and it was locked away securely - so easy to drive in and be safe. The room was impeccable, the service was impeccable and the location was perfect for what we wanted. The bathroom was very clean and tidy and the fridge with amenities was exactly as expected. Very gorgeous little place to stay. Was given a welcome coffee while our bags went into the room and on departure a little farewell cake. The staff were excellent from when I booked, to when we departed.

This was a good stay for us. Location perfect for an event that we were attending, and Spicers is just lovely. Such an old building and beautiful. Nothing I didn't like.

Loved the location, the charm of the refurbish terraced houses into a hotel. the room was lovely, well appointed and spacious. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the location was great! And even though our room was on the street front, it is a quiet leafy street and we had a lovely relaxing time.

Lovely place. Calm and stylish. Great decor and clever design. Location is great. Away from the crowds but in easy walking distance of Opera House etc across the botanical gardens. Staff were all great. Really friendly and helpful

The welcome on arrival, I stayed twice in a six day period, the first room was very light and spacious overlooking the back, the second room was smaller with a slightly strange lay out for the bathroom, though I think the fireplace was quite restrictive when planning! Both King rooms with comfy beds, less space to do Pilates in the second room.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and chairs, large bathroom especially shower which was easy to use. Very attractive decor. Excellent breakfast and quick service. Quiet friendly atmosphere. We were on the third floor and there was a lift to use.
