The staff were excellent and bent over backwards to accommodate requests and took feedback really well. The design of the hotel is also spectacular, with uber cool art and a great bar/restaurant. We were also very happy with the room size.

It’s time for an update, don’t you think? In our room alone, the sink was cracked, the bathtub was cracked (!), and there was rising damp and damp spots on the wall by our window — all of which we brought to the attention of the check out crew. The gym was absolutely despicable; an airless room with insufficient aircon and decrepit equipment. Enough about that. I’m also of mixed opinion about the CBD location, which is great if you’re there for work or on a mission to shop, but still quite a walk to the waterfront or The Rocks.

Everything - it’s a beautiful hotel. Very clean, great service, very comfy. Bathroom was exceptional. My only complaint is we only had a one night stay and didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the hotel itself!

QT is my favourite hotel for Sydney trips. It's really quirky. I love the interesting decor, which is slightly different in every room and the music in / random comments from the elevator always puts a smile on my face.

The restaurant was really busy at breakfast time - it took a while to get a table which is entirely understandable (especially as I was on my own) - but the poached eggs were overcooked and butter for the toast took another 10 minutes to arrive. If you're breakfasting there, order the pork sausage - best one I've ever tasted!

The look and vibe are immaculate. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. We will be back.

As soon as you walk up to the doors it’s almost like going back in time. The old style vintage vibe is so welcoming and the staff are amazing very personal and professional. The rooms are amazing quirky modern and set the mood for a romantic weekend or night out on the town definitely one our favourite places to stay Sydney

Central location in the city close to all major attractions and shopping. Beautiful interior that made me feel like I was in an old school Hollywood film.

The hotel has a great quirky atmosphere. Fantastic location in the city, and very friendly staff. We were in two rooms, 516 which bright and comfortable and 805 which has a great view of QVB. Very large room and bathroom.

Nothing-will happily stay here again.

I like the vibe of the hotel. Centrally located. Was able to enjoy boxing day coz it was easy to go back to the hotel after we have gone shopping.

So gorgeous! Lush for the senses. The building is beautiful. Rooms are so quiet. Adore this location. We had a room directly looking on to the QVB - beautiful!

Very attractive hotel with a lot of style and very comfortable rooms. Superb location near major shopping centres, walk to Darling Harbour / Barangaroo and access frequent trams to Circular Quay. Felt like a destination in itself rather then then just a place to sleep. Also enjoyed excellent breakfast at Parlour on the ground floor. Very welcoming staff.

Whilst the vibe in the room required subdued lighting, an option to turn on some illumination when needed, especially at the desk, would be appreciated.

Fabulous breakfast

Fantastic stay in CBD. Great location for getting around all areas and very comfortable, quiet, rooms for relaxing afterwards. They do a steak frites on Monday and Tuesday for $40, which was very good too.

Our room was quite dark. A mirror in the room (as opposed to inside the cupboard) would be good for getting ready. Open shower situation can get very wet in the bathroom. Not a huge issue as housekeeping are brilliant but could be better designed.

Amazing location, in the center of the city but the sound isolation is very good so there is no noise in the rooms. Rooms were spacious enough and comfortable.

Lack of buffet breakfast was a big dissapointment. For a 5 star hotel, I also expected a pool which is not available.

Our Twin Room was a good size & comfortable.

Bit disappointed in the restaurant this time around. Standards slipped a bit from previous visit. Bar staff were excellent.

The room I was assigned was a nice room but it was not what booking.com showed me at time of booking online.

restaurant downstairs is really enjoyable, excellent staff and food, drinks. great people watching loaction around theatre time, if you get near the window / doors.

The bar was often overcrowded (especially around theatre time) which was a little annoying as a guest wanting to pull up a chair or stool..... service at the bar was not like the restaurant - you have to muscle in to get someone to actually care that you want a drink. The bar staff do not do eye contact with customers and this would be a great training opportunity for management to instigate. They should be looking to see "if he wants a drink" It's not supposed to be up to the customer to wave them down every time. After all, drinking is the money. It is not difficult for the team to also offer a drinks menu when someone sits down, I short cut that to get up and go get my own from the end of the bar..... not a big deal but mmmmm could be better.

Second stay here and it's always one of our favourite hotels in the city. The location in terms of central Sydney is by far the best, especially if you are moving around shopping or going to dinner. Check in is so easy online and makes the physical check in process very quick. The staff are super lovely as well!

Pricing of parking is a little rough!

We were staying for a week so the QT upgraded our room. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay; the breakfast is delicious; the bar and dinner joint Gowings is great. Our bedrooms were very comfortable indeed. we loved our stay here - thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This might be the comfiest bed I've ever slept on! It's a really thoughtful hotel, they've put alot of effort into making your stay as fun as possible. The location is also excellent - its super close to lots of tourist attractions and the Town Hall station is great for exploring further afield!

Nothing much - our view wasn't great, but that didn't take away from the expierence.

Rooms are quite dark - not necessarily a bad thing as pictures do show this A bit noisy at times, never heard road noise but room would shake when neighbours came and went and would make the glass ornaments rattl for quite a while after any vibrations Didn’t recognise the entrance but staff were very helpful and directed us as we blindly walked past

The service at QT was outstanding, particularly from Andy the valet and luggage attendant. He was warm, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about his role, proudly mentioning that he’s put his heart and soul into his work for the past eight years. That level of dedication made a real impression.
