The location was excellent and the staff friendly and helpfull

Was surprise when I paid final bill there wasa $22 Service Charge!!

Pool was absolutely freezing air conditioning so cold it’s as if they didn’t want people to go to the pool. Pick your room carefully or you’ll end up looking at a building site even if you book a suite

Best location. I love the quilt and quilt cover.

Staff were great, breakfast was fabulous. Close to where we needed to be.

Bathroom was a let down. Didn't like the bathroom toiletries. Also the bathroom had no exhaust fan.

Easy to get to from Circular Quay and central to shops etc. Nice staff and very accommodating when we arrived early and had to leave late.

The location is fabulous for major Sydney attractions. The room was a great size with a view of the Opera House. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of options for eating on site with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly and professional.

Parking expensive, we parked close by in cheaper park. Pillows hard/large. A variety in room would have been helpful.

Property was great. Initially there was a problem because Booking.com shows images of the rooms that are not correct. Despite showing an image of the room we booked with a bathtub the room didn’t have one. Something we were expecting. The hotel resolved that issue despite it being Booking.com’s misleading mistake. The manager I dealt with was excellent and took care of it the next day.

We arrived early at 10am as we had an event to attend at 11am. The lovely young lady who checked us in was able to allocate us a room so that we could take our bags up and freshen up. The room was quite large, very clean and had a large comfy bed.

The hotel room was well set up and had everything I could want without being over the top

There was a constant throng in the lobby of people checking in and out. Clearly very busy all the time with cruise-ship passengers on overnight stays.

We stayed for 3 nights. On the last night significant violent disturbance @ 1.30 am in the room next door, security eventually attended. Impacted and spoiled our last night.

Perfect location. So close to the ferries and cruise ships, walks and restaurants. The room service was excellent.

The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. It was booked for my mother and sister from south coast to meet my son on his short visit from Germany. My daughters and 3 grandchildren met them for breakfast. Everyone was happy catching up at Marriott.

I wasn't staying. It was hard checking in for my mother and sister without me there. They needed my identity even though I wasn't staying. I asked a few times for twin room for my mother and sister. In the end they were okay to sleep in king bed.

Location and room were great

With one exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, on trying to book an additional night, we encountered a particularly unhelpful and grumpy guy at the reception desk who told us to just get on the hotel website and sort it out ourselves. Luckily, another wonderful member of staff intervened and sorted things out.

The room was outdated and a bit tired. However, the room was so quiet, given we were across the road from a construction site. The view was not a city view as hoped for, however I would definitely prefer a quiet room. We were on floor 9. The room was extremely clean, just needs an update.

The location

The position is excellent- I’m 68 and train from airport to circular quay then short walk to hotel- I could manage well I think they should brighten up the area outside the Hotel — I understand there’s building happening- but some street art with white to bring light into dark area and bright planters — give it a welcoming Sydney vibe rather than the current “ semi slum “ area !!

Outside area - see above I loved the bathroom - which had a proper rounded basin, it had a retractable wash line. It had hooks in the back of bathroom door and plenty of towel rails —- do pkease don’t refurbish in modern minimalist user unfriendly style !! The room had Sydney opera house view —- fantastic —- not decided if should have bed so I could see the view or leave it as it is 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Location was great, walking distance to The Rocks, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour. Train station and bus stop near by. Room is clean . Bed comfortable. Staff nice and pleasant.

We were on 7 th floor, views nothing to speak of. We had friends on 21st Floor and they had amazing views. We would have liked nice views too. There is only one comfortable chair but often there are two people in the room.

Buffet only included two guests. At times we had dirty cups etc left in our room that we had to reuse the next day. Beds are quite small for two people.

Location is outstanding, a short walk to Circular Quay, the Rocks and Opera House and also to public transport. Quiet clean, comfortable rooms and lovely service from all the staff.

Check in was a little slow but a very minor blip. Only 1 option on the room service menu if you need gluten free.
