Harbour Marriott Hotel, Sydney

Great location, amenities, and fabulous breakfast.

Great location. Good room size. We loved the added touches of a coffee machine in your room and TV casting from your phone. Check-in staff were very friendly. Food in Sylvester’s on site restaurant was excellent and restaurant staff were delightful.

The room fittings were a bit dated, but didn’t detract from our stay.

We had a great view of the city, the hotel is in a fantastic location so close to train, ferry and light rain made it so easy to get around and see all the sights. they were so welcoming and it was a great experience for my daughters 1st hotel stay.

Room was big enough size. Even if the property is quite old, it is clean and well maintained. The location is its biggest asset, a short walk to shops and restaurants, and a 15-minute walk to the Sydney Harbour and Opera House.

We had a really good stay at the Marriott at Circular Quay. The location is excellent - easy walking distance to Circular Quay, The Rocks, the Opera House, ferries, restaurants and bars, which made it very convenient for a short Sydney stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel had the general standard you would expect from a Marriott. Overall, it was a very easy and enjoyable stay in a great part of Sydney. I’d happily stay here again, particularly for the location and convenience.

Nothing major to mention - we had a very comfortable stay overall. No real complaints from our stay, everything was easy, clean and well handled.

Clean, well organized room. Good place to do work on my computer. Comfortable bed and shower. Able to easily get extra towels and the like. Affordable overall. Beautiful view of the harbour and the city in general. Adequate number of electrical outlets.

There needs to be more than one adapter available to visitors from outside Australia. The room had only one such adapter in stock, so I had to go outside the hotel to purchase others. The fact is that most people worldwide do not have ANZ adapters.

Location was excellent. Very close to Circular Quay station. Also our room had a bath tub which was my personal favourite.

The room size was slightly smaller compared to the other place we stayed before.

Location was excellent. It was close to everything. The cocktails in the bar were very good. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable.

The Room Service Options. After 11:00pm there are not that many options. The cocktails in a bottle were expensive and you couldn't order fries or anything hot.

I loved the attentiveness of the staff, from the concierge staff to the restaurant staff my stay was made all the more memorable by how they made me feel as an individual and not a number, specially when accomodating my special request in regards to the luggage and allowing e to stay in the waiting lounge (sorry I forgot the proper name) until I was ready to go. The location of the Marriott is also extremely convenient if like me you intend on boarding a cruise from circular quay. My wife and mother in law with mobility problems managed the very short walk to embarkation with no problems.

Apart from a few stray hairs in the bathroom the whole room was very clean. This is something minor that can be improved but in no means a deal breaker.

I had a lovely stay - great location, great room and comfy bed.

Breakfast was busy and you had to wait for a table - and the scrambled eggs were not very nice. But it was still okay.

Lovely staff, restaurant and food excellent, loved the Opera House view. The staff left me a bottle of sparkling wine as a congratulations as I was in Sydney for university graduation!

Location was fantastic! Staff were extremely friendly.

Vents in room needed a clean (dust all over them), rooms looked like they needed new carpet/ bedside tables and a revamp of bathrooms.

We were going on a cruise, so it was so close to the train station and the Overseas Cruise terminal. It was our Anniversary and they gave us a beautiful dessert plate. Thank you 😊
