Harbour Marriott Hotel, Sydney

We celebrated our Anniversary here we only had two nights, but the staff made us feel extra special with a beautiful treat. The hotel is Close to everything, lovely hotel and has all amenities and lots of great eating options in the area and at hotel.

While this is a lovely hotel, the rooms are finished quite basic, tea coffee etc are very basic, for this standard of hotel I would expect a little extra, but this is the only negative.

Great location and views, staff were excellent.

Place is starting to look tired, stained carpet in room, has been repainted at some stage but wasn't a very good job, with poor quality workmanship.

Great view to Opera House. Good location close to Circular Quay. Nice bar/pub with food and outdoor seating. Bedrooms and bathrooms well equipped and comfortable.

This was a quick overnight stay between flights. We arrived late in the evening but didn't need to continue the trip until the next afternoon. Checkin was friendly. The room was relatively spacious with a pleasant city view. Only a short walk to Circular Quay.

All was good. It is rather expensive, but the location is prime.

Right in the heart of Sydney, two minute walk to Corcular Quay. Gorgeous room, excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of food and shopping nearby.

Parking was astronomical at Wilson’s next door

Fantastic location, Big comfortable room which was also very quiet which was real help with sleeping. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Other than the water pressure was a little low nothing springs to mind.

I had to fly back to Perth 1 day early unfortunately and couldn’t get any money back. Bookings said ask hotel. And Hotel says booking had to money. I unfortunately paid up front. A non refundable room.

Location to all means of transportation.

Not much to complain about but some things probably need upgrading for a 5 star hotel.

Good location, anniversary gift.

Disorganised staff. When we arrived to check in at 3:30pm we were told that our room wasn’t ready however, when I challenged the staff member re: check in time quoted at 3pm on booking, a room became available. Also, we dropped our bags off at the hotel prior to check in at approx. 9am and when we went to pick up our bags at check in (3:20pm) we were told that they had already been sent to our room. When we got to room, the bags weren’t there and we had to wait another 15 mins for them to arrive.

We loved our stay

This hotel is perfect for travelers using the cruise port. It is clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff made me feel very welcomed and special. I walked less than a half mile to board the cruise ship on sail day.

The location was great for our purposes as it was close to the shops and amenities that we sought - particularly the close proximity of the train to and from the Airports and light rail to get around the CBD and to the Sydney Fish Market. Service was great. The staff looked after us well

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay was just right choice to stay in Sydney! Excellent service, facilities and location! Harbour Bridge, The Rocks and the most important for me Sydney Opera House were just in a short walking distance! Having morning coffee, enjoying Sydney Opera House view from the window, became truly beguiling moments for me!

The reception staff were lovely. And welcoming..

I scored 4 for the bed. As the sheets were buckled and scrunched up , at the bottom of the bed. When I got into bed. So I remade the bed. The bed itself was comfortable

We came because of a cruise. The hotel was walking distance from the cruise port and most of the shopping areas. The hotel was super clean. The rooms were very spacious and modern. Booking.com placed us on the elite floor! The breakfast was amazing! So many options for the price we paid. Overall we had an amazing experience.

We stayed again after returning from the cruise but that booking was through Marriott. We paid almost double than what we paid through booking.com. Checking in was not as seamless as the first time and Marriott didn't put us on the elite floor like booking.com did!

Great location, a stone's throw from Circular Quay, among great restaurants in the area. Comfortable rooms.

Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff, a great location and signage so we could see where the hotel is easily, accessible to opera house ,lots of facilities, nice restaurant and coffee/ drinks area with food and drink and comfortable seating for many hours, good lifts, wonderful suit case stand, great air-conditioning in the rooms that wasn’t noisy, almond milk, soy milk and lactose free milk or all available, menus had vegetarian and fish options, we were able to increase the vegetable content of our food by requesting it.

Our room had a strong smoky smell in it , especially when we first arrived. There were only enough towels for one shower each. An extra towel would’ve been good for drying hair. The bed was a little soft
