Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney

The location was absolutely wonderful. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Plus the view of the opera house from our room was so special. The beds were also so comfortable! The valet was the first place we stopped at when coming to Sydney. Nassar was the most welcoming and wonderful human. Thankfully he was there for majority of our stay and we looked forward to heading out the door to see him or seeing him upon our return to the hotel. He made us feel like we had a friend in Sydney, a place where we knew no one. I am so thankful he was the first person we met there. He made our whole stay wonderful! Power of conversation can change a lot!

The gym was quite small in the lifting area but I know space was limited. But thats about it!

I know you can't alter the room size however it was very small. When calling to make a booking I asked the question however the (call centre person) was not understanding my question and should have asked me if I wanted a larger room if she know the layout of the hotel.

Fantastic location and a great view of the opera house. Most of the staff were amazing, really went out of their way to help and were very friendly. Spacious room with great facilities. The grain bar is a must, they have fab cocktails!

We were asked which pillows we would prefer so we requested orthopedic pillows but were given very soft ones which weren't very comfortable. One staff member was quite rude, we felt like we were really bothering him and he was arguing with another staff member when we approached. Our bags were late up to our room and we were sent up the wrong champagne, but was given a complementary bottle which was a very nice touch.

The service of this hotel was the best we had in our three weeks in Australia. The pool is spacious and well serviced. The location is perfect for access to the various ferries around the harbour.

I felt comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. All amenities are modern and in excellent condition. The location is ideal for exploring the iconic areas of Sydney.

We had the 1 bedroom full harbour club suite,walking into the room greeted by the best view,it was just superb.Breakfast was outstanding,again with a lovely view of our sensational harbour.

Would’ve liked to have stayed longer though.

The efficiency of the welcome - with Julieta Pilas from guest services ensuring check-in was seamless. Our room was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. I have stayed at the 4 Seasons in Sydney for >15 years

Fantastic location, wonderful staff. Rooms are immaculate, beds and pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. On-site restaurant serves beautiful meals and wine but a little on the expensive side.

Only a very minor issue, ordered room service, it didn't turn up even after a phone call, so had to actually go down to restaurant to get my order.

Luxurious & close to the main attractions of Sydney.

The location is really good, public transport very close by, scores of restaurants/bars and shopping. Rooms were good sized, bed was comfortable, gym was one of the better hotel gyms I have seen.

I guess my only complaint is that the door on the bathroom, which is a rolling door, makes a decent amount of noise. Minor, but you asked

The windows were a bit grimy which took away some of the wow factor about the view of the Sydney Opera House

Staff are fantastic and so professional however manage to be very friendly at the same time! Staff cannot do enough to assist. Great Location and amazing food (we were there for a function) and the hospitality services staff were amazing. Late night Room service was prompt with hot, fresh and delicious food delivered with a smile. Room was spotless and housekeeping are ninja's (so quiet and efficient without interupting your stay). All of the satff, from the porters to houskeeping to concierge to hospitality are absolutely amazing and a real asset to The Four Seasons.

Upgraded to an amazing room with view over harbour bridge and opera house. Stunning. Great location, bed very comfortable, and although small room was well equipped.

Well maintained but definitely an older hotel.

The hotel is really good, including gym, spa, pool, everything you would expect from a 5 start hotel. You can even use the facilites after the checkout

Loved the personal touch. Handwritten note, complimentary wine, friendly staff from valet to concierge, to reception and room service attendant. Very easy checkout was a bonus.

Location and a higher corner room with magnificent views. I love the Level 32 retreat and food there. Very special. The beds were wonderfully soft.

Beautiful property albeit a bit dated but still plenty of charm. Excellent location near circular quay and light rail. Plenty of dining options nearby. Staff friendly and quick service

The rooms have simply magnificent view, suites spacious, great layout, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, amenities pristine, staff at all levels had a smile for us and service to offer, nothing to much trouble, we just loved our stay

Fabulous location (walking distance to quay, the Rocks and city shopping precinct); very friendly, professional and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and spotless. Four Seasons was excellent value for money given that Sydney is an expensive city.

I booked a room with a partial harbour view as a splurge to celebrate being in remission from cancer for a year and had noted this on my booking, and assumed it would be of the Harbour Bridge/Opera House side. It was not. The key component of my view was roads with some tiny bit of water view in the far distance. I was pretty disappointed. When I went downstairs to discuss this, the Manager was very kind and upgraded me to a full harbour view which was exceptional. If you are thinking of booking harbour view, pay the extra and lock in this glorious view, it is worth it. I was told that my bags would be brought to my new room which they were, but took around 20 minutes. When I left the following evening to attend a dinner about 30 minutes away, the valet brough my car up and I got in and drove off. About 20 minutes later, the valet rang to say they had forgotten to leave my key in the car which meant I would not be able to turn the car off. When I returned to my room, there was a lovely bottle of champagne and a thoughtful note and my parking charges were waived. I certainly appreciate the way that these things were dealt with but a little surprised that they happened in the first place.
