Excellent breakfast

It was our first time in Stockholm and we were super happy about the location to discover the city in 2 days. Rooms are clean, reasonably big and comfortable. There was no coffee machine but there was a small fridge and water boiler. Bathroom was also really nice. I would totally come back to stay here for the next time.

Room with a view was the description. The view was ground level towards the gym and playground and both me and the guests working out where not many meters apart. The curtains had to be closed the whole time. And the window didn´t open.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel as it was relatively well-priced vs other options available at the time of booking. It is extremely stylish and almost boutique-y in style, decorated in an art deco style, and much nicer than we were expecting for the price point in a city like Stockholm. Our rooms was one of the smaller ones but we were fortunate to have a nice view over the square in front which was a nice surprise too. Fantastic location nearby to the station.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With a few improvements, this hotel could be a real knock-out. Firstly, the staff on reception were not very warm upon our arrival - all very functional and never once wished us a nice stay or asked how our stay was, etc. The mattress on the bed is comfortable but doesn't feel as high end as other aspects of the hotel. Finally, the storage options in the room were limited - as we were in a more narrow room, the very large wardrobe felt obstructive and there were no drawers for storing items. However, nothing that would stop us recommending the hotel.

The hotel and the rooms had a fun 1920s theme. The room and hallways had lots of lovely photos and art. Overall the hotel and rooms looked to be well kept up. The location was great, just about 10 minutes from the central train station. A great central location for exploring the city.

We had an interior facing room, which looked out on the workout space. Not idea. We also couldn't open the window so the room was often hot and stuffy. It could also be quite noisy at times as we could hear quite a bit of noise from the floor above us.

Very friendly staff at the bar and breakfast area. Needed cuttlery and the staff at breakfast responded very quickly.

Loved staying at Haymarket! Excellent location, delicious breakfast and cosy room with lots of character.

There were some real basics that the hotel room lacked. Drawers and storage space was one of them. In the wardrobe you could only hang things but there were no shelves. We had to subsequently leave stuff in our cases. Also lack of storage space in the bathroom - there wasn’t a shelf anywhere so we just had to leave toiletries and toothbrushes on the wet sink.
