Hostel STF af Chapman & Skeppsholmen, Stockholm

Between a hotel and a home. Very clean. There was never a rush in the showers, toilets or the kitchen. The views from the windows were great and the location was excellent!

If you want the views and location of a luxury hotel with the charm of a hostel, this is your spot. Always clean and with kind and helpful staff.

I always come here, because I like the location, the view, the museum close by, the prefect area for little walks and peace. The house never disappoints. Breakfast is amazing.

Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great. Excellent facilities for the money.

We were a little cold in the room. Especially on the first night. The radiator was set to 6. But, unsure if the heating is controlled from the reception area.

The location was absolutely perfect - right in central Stockholm with easy walking access to all the major sights. The shared amenities were clean and cozy, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Great value for money, especially considering the prime location and welcoming atmosphere.

The only minor thing was that the shared bathroom could get a bit busy during peak morning hours. However, this is totally expected and understandable in a hostel setting, and it was always kept clean.

I loved the location most: Skeppsholmen is a virtually car-free museum island, with several museums like the Moderna Museet all located on the island within a very short walking distance from the property. Gamla Stan (the Old Town) is also a short ferry ride away (but you can walk there, too). The property is very well maintained, totally clean, and well-run with friendly staff.

The position is very good, in a very pleasant place, with a wonderful landscape, and at walking distance from the main attractions. Our room (for two people) was spacious, clean, and had a nice view to the harbor. Breakfast is quite good.

There are only two male WC cabins in the 2nd floor, and the were busy most of the time (although there are more in the 1st floor).

I was very disappointed with the price/quality ratio of the breakfast. It is presented as something great, but in reality, the price of breakfast definitely does not match the reality—it is just a very basic breakfast table with a basic selection.

Central location

A fabulous location, with super friendly and helpful staff. It was great to be able to book bikes to see the city, and have a store to leave bags when we checked out. It was spotlessly clean.

Not information enough about the numbers of toilets/showers per floor, I waited at my floor while there were more showers available downstairs. Little curtains on beds for privacy could be added to be even better

It is located in a peaceful island. It is very clean and breakfast is good. PARTICULARLY this time I had accidentally booked a normal room even though I travel with my dog, but the reception got everything sorted out for us. VERY friendly customer service and definitely worth of 5 stars

For a hostel is pretty nice, beds are comfortable, rooms are big and with space. The location is beautiful and in general the sttaf are very nice, with one exception.

It's a bit expensive for a hostel, sharing a room with 5 people. I don't like the fact that the female room is more expensive, I don't think is fair to pay more just to feel safe. I also had twice a bad situation with a old lady in the reception that is very sarcastic and not helpful.

The location is fantastic and the view from our window was glorious. The beds were super comfortable, and though shared, the bathrooms and showers were convenient and clean. The shared kitchen as well as the café downstairs provided options for breakfast depending on our mood/budget. Overall, a fabulous stay.

The only thing I thought could have been provided was hand soap in the rooms and shampoo/shower gel in the showers. I feel the cost of a stay could cover those basics.

The location is very good. Everything was nice and clean. The personell was (all) very nice. The breakfast is sufficient. It was also nice to have the café :-)

Location and the facilities provided. I'm most impressed by the staff at reception who works in the afternoon. He is well mannered, helpful and patient with the guest's requests and questions.

I was given a lower bed after I requested because I'm a senior. However, I do know that other elderly people were still given an upper bund bed after several pleas. What I don't understand is that a lower bed was empty and a 29 year old came the next day.

The best place to stay in Stockholm, this was our 4th time there. Great location, kind staff, good kitchen, very nice breakfast buffet and Cafe Skeppsholmen downstairs.

Lift should be build from the reception to first, second and third floor. Now there is a lift in one part of house only, not to all rooms.

Excelent location. I stayed in the 16-bed room. I thought I was going to be uncomfortable, but it was actually very good. They're all single beds. No bunk beds. During my stay, everybody was quiet and respectful. I had to do my bed on arrival, and it wasn't a big deal. Some people complain about it in their reviews. The bathrooms were super clean, and you had to push the bottom every 30 seconds in the shower to get water. Again, it wasn't a big deal. Some people also complain about this. The wifi was great, and the kitchen facilities were good. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

People in dorm really fart a lot! .get near a window .no soap in the showers.. Website could have better info on transport there Taxis will rip you off. Be very specific I was charged 40 dollars to go to the Viking terminal 1km away...he did an elaborate run.around. a real jerk. He also said. ,"Buy uber its cheaper." He also drove uber! Really horrible creep. He just laughed Super jerk from Nigeria.in stockholm for 15 years.

Great location close to Gamla Stan but still felt a little quieter and more removed. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend renting a bike!

The best location in Sthml City.💕 Nice rooms, you can have very tasty breakfast and drinks&food until around 20 o'clock. Nearest T-bana is Kungsträdsgården. I recommend this hostel🇸🇪💙 Very friendly service. 💙

The location in the historic area, on the waterfront was exceptional. The only downside was the noise that the neighbouring barnacle geese made, but I suppose they were here first!

I' ve always been going to STF Stockholm Vandrarem, every time I go to Stockholm, Sweden. I Love ❤️ the Hostel the people there, the location it' s my absolute favourite, above all the others.: Skepsholnen och Shepsbron. Right in front of The Riyal Palace, on one side abs of the Vasa Muset on the other.. I adore everything about it. From one side of Skepsholmen , you can even see, from afar the beautiful " Grona Lund"- the characteristic, very popular amazing Theme Park of the City of Stockholm, SE 🇸🇪💋💓♥️

As a hostel it is good, in good location. There is shared bathroom but the price is low accordingly.
