Amazing Hotel! Better than the Plaza in NYC

Lovely staff, lovely room and all-around an astonishing place!

Nothing - only minor thing is that the rooms didn’t have a “do not disturb” function.

The room was spacious and beautiful interior, linen was top quality and bed very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Excellent location.

The shower head was too close to the wall and in the bath. Water running everywhere.

An excellent reception on arrival with room upgrade to a juniour suite overlooking the palace. Friendly staff, excellent venue for breakfast and early evening drinks. Service impeccable.

Everything was fine. I could find no fault with the hotel or over areas which it had control. There was a state visit which locked down the vicinity of the hotel, preventing taxis to access.

The breakfast was outstanding!!

Very nice rooms, clean and tidy. The hospitality is very good.

At the spa the water in the pools were a bit cold, not the winter cold one but the the two bigger ones and the area for lunch or smoothie by the gym has not the same standard that matches the rest of the hotel. Staff at the spa reception is fantastic.

The staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful and professional. There are two breakfast options, both excellent - superb choice and quality whilst enjoying the view over the water. A drink in the wood panelled bar is a lovely evening option.

We were treated so well. The rooms were wonderful. Location was perfect for our needs.

Gym is a bit small

Historical outside and inside but the room we stayed renovated with a modern architectural style that does not lose the feeling of the hotels soul coming with its age. Classy restaurants inside with unique view of the city and well prepared tasty menu. Hospitality that gives you the feeling everything is planned to make you feel at home and also you are on a vacation.

Excellent location right in the middle of Stockholm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a clean and elegant appearance. The rooms are big and nicely furnished; the beds are huge but the blankets/pillows could have been more comfortable (to each their own). The breakfast buffet had something for everybody, the quality of food and service was excellent.

We didn't know that using the spa costs extra. This is unusual and could have been communicated better in advance.

Everything was great. The hotel is expensive but it is just amazing... The room looked like in a museum, the food was delicious and the Spa Area (book in advance!) was very relaxing and warm. The staff did a great job too, everyone was very helpful. The place in which the hotel is located is probably one of the best in Stockholm - close to everywhere, the metro station is maybe 100 meters away, beautiful area to just walk around. I can fully recommend!

Breakfast ample. Granola sublime. Lots of cold and hot choices. Very happy indeed.

I was sad not to enjoy smorgasbord as it was not available during my visit but I will return to enjoy that in the future.

Everything is always amazing at Grand Hôtel Stockholm. My recommendation is to book rooms with water view.

The staff, particularly the chap who helped me negotiate my way around the tech available to me, was brilliant

Iconic breakfast location in Verandan. Lavish regency interiors, with modern appointments. Affable staff wherever you go. Epic spa. Beautiful facade opposite the megalithic royal palace. Hard to improve on this.

The location, the interior, the service… everything was perfect.

The breakfast buffet area could be bigger.

We loved everything with this stay, room, staff, valet parking, restaurant and bar. The hotel os costly but well worth it.

SPA was good breakfast and healthyoptions however limited ( matcha tea, fresh green juices )

Too old fashioned decor in some places

Very classic hotel, beautiful in all ways. Location is great, with a view on Gamla Stan. Close to all key places and easily accessible by the subway. Friendly and professional staff, caring and available. Rooms are great, the 30m2 format is perfect and has very good value for money. Huge bed that was confortable. So many small attentions in the room, very enjoyable.

The bathroom was just too warm, we could not turn off the heating system and were just suffocating inside!
