It felt so homey and the communal spaces felt comfortable and easy to meet people

On the positive side, the hostel features excellent common areas and a sauna, which created a nice social atmosphere. However, the experience was dampened by the linen policy. Guests are required to make and strip their own beds, even during late-night hours, which inevitably disturbs others in the room. When I brought this up, the staff’s response was disappointing; they noted that the policy 'makes their job easier'. While the facilities are okay, the service philosophy needs significant improvement.

I was disappointed to find that guests are required to both make and strip their own beds, regardless of their check-in or check-out time. Performing these tasks during late-night hours inevitably disturbs other sleeping guests. When I raised this concern, the staff’s response was quite unprofessional; they stated that this policy 'makes their job easier' and suggested I simply move slower to avoid noise. I found this lack of service and disregard for guest comfort unacceptable.

The room is decorated really cute with all wooden interior. There’s a big sofa and a locker inside as well, and the room it self is big, providing lots of space for 6 girls. The bathroom is small but comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped

I just think it’s a bit weird to not include the bed sheet fees in the hotel price from the start, since it’s mandatory to rent a bed sheet anyway

Great that they have a sauna in the hostel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It had a big kitchen and lots of fridge space.

You have to put your on sheets on in the middle of the night waking everyone up as we arrived at 3am. The hostel is a bit of a maze and hard to find the rooms. You have to pay extra for sheets which should be included in the price. It’s a little far from the old town Gamla Stan.

The workers were very friendly and helpful. Common areas were clean. They offered coffee and pasta.

The lockers were small and only fit large padlocks. There are no curtains to provide more privacy in the shared rooms.

Not their fault but the disrespect among the many people during night… i was barely asleep because the loud door and lights disturbing caused by a traveler… Bathrooms could me renovated but worked 👍🏻

Great location, warm and cozy room with a window. Very comfortable bed with a good mattress and pillow. Lockers are available; having your own lock is a plus. Guests walk around without shoes — in socks or slippers — and the hostel is very clean. There is an excellent sauna, open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Many doors have code locks, so it’s a good idea to take photos of the codes during check-in and keep them on your phone in case you forget. Very friendly and helpful staff, with a great atmosphere overall. A unique hostel with a cozy retro style and a warm, welcoming vibe.

It is central, cheap, social, hosts activities, has a place to socialize and has a bar and quite clean.

I feel like the way to showers shouldn’t pass by the common area but it is a nitpick

It was walkable to the main areas we wanted to go, communal bathrooms were reasonable clean. They also have luggage storage which you can access with a code to drop off and pick up luggage as you pleased. They have a large communal kitchen and also a washing machine and dryer you can pay to use.

Similar to others, I’m not sure why linen and towels are charged separately? They should just be embedded in the price since it’s not as though people are travelling with linen The room was also very small so be prepared to have very little space with the luggage on the floor

the BEST hostel I've been in after lots of years travelling. Perfect location, so clean, looks like a 4 star hotel! Salma is a beauty! so cute,so kind, always with a smile, ready to help anytime. Also a girl from Spain (sorry for not knowing her name) so helpful. Stockholm is an expensive city, but this place is worth every krone. Highly recommend five stars cheers from Mexico City Alberto V

I liked that it has a very cosy vibe and everyone was very open. The bathrooms and kitchen are clean and I think the door codes are a great system.

There's nearly not enough storage for your luggage. The beds make a noise on every move.

The hostel is easy to find, staff were very friendly. Map to get to the rooms is a bit complicated, but we get used to it after a couple of days. Don‘t forget to take picture of your own codes, you will need it to enter your room.

The staff was very sympathic, and the place had a very good vibe, very clean and old school décoration. Wee. Had also a sauna l. For the price it's very very good to me . Big share kitchen with your own room name fridge . A place where you can also lock the luggage. I regret only booking for 2 days cause if I knew I booked more time, when I changed my mind it was already full and it made sense ! Everything here makes you feel comfortable to me .

The staff is incredibly supportive and helpful. I love that you can drop off your luggage and that you can keep it there for a while after checking out.

I think it feels outdated, like the bunker beds are the traditional metal ones. I would improve cleanliness in zones like the kitchen and showers, other common areas and the rooms were good.

solid hostel got the job done, i slept fine and there was shower etc all you needed. quiet time is 11pm to 7am so don't try to sleep before these times haha

Really interesting World class hostel with a unique Svenska style and highly efficient admin system in place - Quirky comfortable setting and furnishings close to Centre and old town too ! Good lounge and kitchen but the clincher is the genuine Swedish Sauna in the basement - highly recommended Uber Cool !

Only 10 minute walk from central station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I love the sauna room there. You cannot find many hostels with a sauna 😉 At Common place there are many games to play, comfortable sofas where you can sit down and hangout with people from all over the world 😄

The towel is so expensive so bring your own will be the best

Absolutely loved my stay here! It has such great charm, character and feels very magical. Super friendly staff, amazing location that is just steps from stockholm central station, and amazing rates. 5 stars!!

It was hard to sleep, the door closes in a noisy way. The bunk beds are noisy. There is no window and airconiditoning is not functioning well. The kitchen gets too loud and too smokey at certain hours
