Tucked away in a 1950s heritage Art Deco building near Little India and Kampong Glam, this 41-room luxury boutique hotel feels less like a traditional lodging spot and more like a moody, glamorous playground.
The jaw-dropping interiors were dreamt up by the legendary French designer Jacques Garcia, marking his very first project in Asia. True to his design philosophy of “all things in excess,” he completely transformed the space into a Parisian-chic fantasy packed with dark woods, deep red velvets, and striking gold accents.
The Vagabond Club Hotel’s quirky character hits you the moment you walk through the doors. Instead of a boring reception counter, you check in at a desk shaped like a massive golden rhinoceros, while giant brass elephants and a glittering golden tree flank the lobby bar.
Beyond the wild visuals, the hotel boasts a couple of major bragging rights. It features an ultra-cool Artist-in-Residence program where global creatives come to live and work, and it houses a massive Whiskey Library stocked with over 1,000 rare bottles. Plus, it is proudly Singapore’s very first carbon-free hotel.

Superb staff and elegant place to stay. Manager Ronny was terrific.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and caring. The chef and dining staff are efficient and friendly. I did not want to leave a place where I felt so at home. The space is elegant and I would recommend getting the breakfast which is delicious.
Everything was delightful. I highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

Another lousy luxury Singapore hotel. Like all the rest
Unique design
Another bad Singapore hotel. Pretty much all bad. Only exception was Fullerton. Just Singapore is the worst. Avoid at all costs for years is our recommendation!!!
