Designed by the famous local architecture firm WOHA, this place completely redefines the concept of a “hotel in a garden” by essentially rolling out a massive vertical park right on its facade.
Opened in 2013, the building stands out instantly with its crazy, undulating concrete layers. The designers actually modeled these contours after natural rock formations and Asian paddy fields, giving the whole structure a unique, fluid look that contrasts perfectly with the surrounding city skyboxes.
The coolest part? It features over 15,000 square meters of lush greenery, waterfalls, and planter terraces. That’s actually double the land area of the site itself! It’s basically a self-sustaining eco-wonderland, powered by solar energy and a smart rainwater harvesting system to keep all those plants happy.
To top it off, the fifth floor features an amazing infinity pool flanked by colorful, birdcage-shaped cabanas. It’s a wildly popular architectural icon that proves modern luxury doesn’t have to cost the Earth.

The pictures of the rooms tend to pretend a larger size both of the rooms and the beds. A sleeping sofa was actually just long enough for a 10 year old

Beautiful hotel, beautiful city
This is a stunning property in a great location. Set in China town its a short walk to Clarke Quay and only meters from both MRT stations. We stayed in Premium room which is great size and upper floor. Beautiful pool area! I have stayed in many hotels in Singapore, this is my favorite. Thank you to Brent in Concierge, top service!

A lovely stay
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even helped us print some documents. The location is great. The room was always very clean and the bed was big.
The menu for breakfast could maybe add something new every day, just to rotate a bit the selections.

Can’t wait for the next time
All the front desk employees are so nice and polite,
One night I had noise from construction work near the hotel. The reception manager Ethan on the next day moved me to an upgraded room and gave me $200 in compensation for using the hotel facilities. Beyond that, he was very helpful, caring, and saw that it was important to him that I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean! An amazing and beautifully maintained gym, a pleasant and modern pool, and the general atmosphere at the hotel is simply perfect. The spa staff is very professional, especially a therapist named Jasmin who gave me a very high-level professional massage.

Amazing and luxurious accommodation with great amenities and access to prime spots in Singapore.
The hotel is perfectly located for walkable access to China Town area, public transport. Close to great food markets and stores as well. Hotel offers great amenities and accommodating to requests.

We loved the hotel, the negative mention was minor in compassion to our overall experience
Girl checking it was vague with details, no details regards breakfast times etc or directions to elevator. Travelling long haul with children the small details help, I found elevator only to be told my another guest it was for car park which was embarrassing.
We were hungry for small meal and asked at reception was there anywhere within hotel to order small plates instead of doing buffet in lime, she didn't know and told me to ask concierge. I asked James behind the small bar at reception instead he could not have been more helpful, he immediately found a lovely table for my family, and took extra care of us for a couple of hours, he is 5 stars! He has a natural gift for good hospitality.
