Hotel Parkroyal on Pickering, Singapore

The property was beautifully designed, clean, and very conveniently located. The service was excellent.

The pool was closed during our whole stay, which we didn’t know about in advance when we made our reservation.

Amazing hotel, very lovely place to stay in Singapore. Rooms are nice, breakfasts are good.

Wifi should be definitely improved, I had a lot of issues. If you need a stable internet, you should by eSim, otherwise wifi simply not working well even for zoom session.

It’s a beautiful hotel, in the perfect location (close to Chinatown and public transport routes). The staff were lovely and very welcoming and friendly.

We struggled with the lighting (that’s not a reflection on the property necessarily - I just struggle with dim lighting).

I loved it all, especially the sustainability element.

The pool was very busy.

The design of the hotel is superb with a good central location. Very handy for the hop on hop off bus tour which stops across the road. We were a family using 3 rooms overall and 2 of them were very well appointed with lovely views across the park. The breakfast options in the Lime restaurant were excellent.

One of the rooms that we had (?717) was not so well appointed and it was completely overlooked by an external landing which accessed other rooms and so guests could see straight into it.

The breakfast was amazing - I loved getting to try a lot of local foods. The location was perfect for getting everywhere on foot or metro. The pool was lovely. The room was very clean and I loved the garden view.

Pool was closed due to maintenance

Impressive building with lots of greenery and water features. Spacious comfortable room with a great view, even from the bath! Restaurant was not very enticing and the ‘bar’ was completely lacking in atmosphere. We weren’t informed before we arrived that the pool was out of use, which was one of the reasons we booked here. Great location though, close to Chinatown, Clarke Quay and MRT station.

The hotel was amazing. Just walking in you knew you were in a special place. Even the taxi driver said this was a much better choice than other well-known, pricier hotels. And it was in a perfect location to catch the metro and visit Chinatown. 10 out of 10!

Sadly the pool was being renovated. Not that it was a major factor for choosing this hotel but it would have been nice to take a quick dip. The hotel did offer shuttle to their other property but we really didn't have time to take advantage of it anyway.

The breakfast closing time is early, saw many people rushing to it.

Location was good, service provided was great as well, room was spacious and clean.

Toilet bowl was relatively underwhelming as it was small and was really uncomfortable sitting on it, and not the typical higher grade of toilet bowl provided in high class hotel. No bidet provided in the toilet.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. I had been here 7 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. Staff is extremely nice, it is well located, rooms are beautiful and spacious. This hotel is for sure a 10/10 and the only reason I am giving a 9 is because when we arrived we were informed that the pool was temporarily closed for reparations… I think this is the kind of information guests should be informed on prior to their arrival to be able to make an informed choice on their hotel selection. However, the staff was really nice and compensated us with other things that we truly appreciated and still made our experience feel very special.

We stayed just a couple of nights here but sure enjoyed our time. The breakfast was wonderful, the pool amazing and the building surround an outing in itself-great architecture with gardens well maintained. To top it off, we slept wonderfully! Location is great!

Stayed for three day before a two week cruise. Super staff friendly and professional in every way at all the locations from doormen, cleaners, check in, bar and restaurant. Room and as one of the best for comfort, layout and climate control. Sadly the pool was closed as was garden walk. Other than that is was exceptional.

Location of the hotel was ideal for exploring Singapore. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. nothing was too much trouble for them. Variety and quality of food on the buffet breakfast set us up perfectly for the day.

A quick guide on arrival as to how to operate the room lights would have helped.

Lovely and quiet. Nicely located for a leisurely stroll around the centre. Everyone’s extremely polite. Will definitely stay there again the future. The food looked good will try it next time.

Everything was great - breakfast could be a bit hit and miss but only with coffee! sometimes they would offer coffee when seating you, sometimes they wouldn’t, sometimes they would but wouldn’t actually bring the coffee. Not really worthy of mentioning but it’s all I could think of..

The views from the window on the 11th floor were spectacular, like looking into the jungle. The pool, fitness area, and garden on the 5th floor are spectacular. The breakfast had a plethora of options.

Everything was perfect and some. Spotlessly clean with great facilities and a short walk from Chinatown in one direction and the harbour in another. Staff always went the extra mile to help and the hotel food was excellent. If we are lucky enough to come back to Singapore then we would look to stay here again.

There was nothing that was not to like!

Very disappointed the pool was unavailable. The option of the shuttle bus was inconvenient. Otherwise best buffet ever seen and location was great.

location & facilities were great

we weren’t told that we had to present our physical ICs and the guy at front desk kept insisting that we had to even when we told him that we didnt have it. but when it was escalated to another staff they told us it was ok to present Singpass. would appreciate it if we were given advance notice that we had to bring our physical ICs.

Stunning building with amazing architecture! Nice rooms, great facilities and accommodating service staff. Plus walking distance to most of the popular tourist areas. Highly recommend!

Pool was out of action

Great experience - fantastic hotel in great location. Breakfast was a great experience - Amazing staff - very happy with room - gym was ok - only downside was the swimming pool being out of action -the motel offered to drive us to a sister motel but was not the same was having the convenience of a pool close by.

Great hotel & location and nice rooms. Unfortunately the pool and spa were being renovated during our stay but a shuttle service to sister hotel was available - which we didn't use.

It was great hotel, with all its means with its unusual and wonderful architecture, with its green concept and gardens in almost in all floors.

Good 5 star hotel, great location!

Love Parkroyal Pickering & have stayed here a few times. Love the location so central to everything in Singapore. But very disappointed not being able to access the pool - was closed for the whole of 4 day stay - NOT impressed. The hotel could have advised of this days before our arrival, as it has been closed for over a week.

Pool was unavailable - this put a damper on the trip. We would have stayed elsewhere if we knew Getting milk from room service took ages The fridge wasn’t working.

I stay here every time I am in Singapore 🇸🇬 so I can’t fault it. It is a class above similarly priced hotels in my opinion.

Room was nice and clean, nicely designed. Staff were excellent and very helpful to any requests.

Design of bedroom incorporating the bathroom, would much prefer an entirely separate bathroom. We stayed in the Park royal on the beach on Beach road a week before, this was a £100 cheaper for a Friday night, and found that the room was more spacious and comfortable. Thus I consider Park Royal Pickering to be expensive.

Unique, and beautiful hotel! Room was very clean and comfortable, loved the trees and greenery right out the window though we were on the 7th floor! Pool area very nice! Great central location we could walk to so much. Huge breakfast buffet.

I found out that the pool was being renovated and asked to be moved to their sister hotel. They offered me a complimentary room upgrade and club lounge access which was excellent.
