More photosIf you’ve ever seen a photo of Singapore, you’ve seen Marina Bay Sands. Opened in 2010, this mega-resort instantly re-shaped the city’s skyline with its three massive hotel towers connected by a single, boat-shaped roof.
The genius behind this design is architect Moshe Safdie. He actually drew inspiration from decks of playing cards to create the dramatic, slanting towers. It looks futuristic, but the layout actually follows strict Feng Shui principles to ensure good energy and wealth flow right through the property.
The absolute crown jewel is the SkyPark up on the 57th floor. It spans longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall and hosts the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool. Floating 650 feet in the air with the edge dropping off into the city skyline is a total bucket-list experience.
Fun fact: the building is actually designed to move. Because Singapore gets heavy winds, the towers can sway up to nearly ten inches, and the massive infinity pool has special joints underneath just to handle the shifting towers without spilling a drop!

Exceptional hotel stay
Hotel is perfect, exceptional experience
LAVO restaurant - even though we had reservation waiting time was long, food expensive and not coś good (carbonara made with cream!!! It’s like crime in Italy and the restaurant is italian..)

Exceptional and attentive service, the upgrade was a big plus
Started with an upgrade to a suite and ancillary services, which really made the stay exceptional. It created additional choices for eating venues.
The pool is the go to for everybody and it too is exceptional along with the attentive service.

It is worth it but something that I would have to save up for. And afterwards, there’s nothing that really compares.
It’s a beautiful property. A must stay in Singapore.
It’s very expensive and a lot is à la carte afterwards so be prepared to spend more.

It is not possible to put all of the superlatives into the space available. All staff were excellent, but special mention must be made of Michelle at the check-in, who arranged for an even better room.

The only quibble I would have is sparkling water is not included in the breakfast buffet which was disappointing but maybe there is a reason that I was not made aware of?
