Hotel Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Hotel was excellent, rooms were gorgeous, comfy and spacious!! Rooftop pool is a must!

Unfortunately we paid for our stay but Booking.com DID NOT pay the property. This caused a lot of stress and the hotel asking for us to pay for the room again!!! We also never received our £200 deposit back from the hotel upon checkout. All this sadly put a huge downer on what would have been a lovely stay.

Long wait to check in

It is not possible to put all of the superlatives into the space available. All staff were excellent, but special mention must be made of Michelle at the check-in, who arranged for an even better room.

Marina bay sands was in my bucket list & it didn’t disappoint the place is amazing

The only quibble I would have is sparkling water is not included in the breakfast buffet which was disappointing but maybe there is a reason that I was not made aware of?

From start to finish the staff at MBS could not do enough to make our experience outstanding.

There is nothing not to like

The rooms felt incredibly premium, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room. For example, they provided organizers for charging cables, and when they noticed glasses in the room, they even placed a special cleaning cloth for them. These small touches made the experience feel very personalized and luxurious. The housekeeping staff were also exceptionally sweet and attentive. When they realized we were traveling with our daughter, they prepared lovely surprises for her, including chocolates, children’s toiletries, a toothbrush, and even towel toys. These thoughtful gestures made our stay feel extra special and memorable. The pool area was beautiful as well, and overall the atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. We genuinely enjoyed our stay very much.

The check-in process took quite a while and could perhaps be more efficient. However, we really appreciated that the team allowed us early access to our room, which made a very positive difference after our arrival. One important thing to mention is that our room was located on the third floor, and unfortunately we could hear a lot of noise coming from the central area of the hotel, even late at night. We could still hear guests returning from parties around 3 AM, and despite the presence of security, the noise situation did not really improve. It was quite disturbing at times. For this reason, we would definitely recommend requesting a higher-floor room when booking, as we personally regretted not asking for one. Overall, despite this issue, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.

Hotel was amazing and the room service staff was incredible

Checking in - my room was meant to be ready by 3pm especially as I checked in early morning. When I arrived back to pick up my keys at 5pm, I was told my room was still not ready and I needed to be ready for a 6pm dinner. I expressed extreme dissatisfaction and the reason given was because the earlier guest had late check-out which is not my problem. For a luxury hotel I was extremely disappointed by this.

Excellent Service by Restaurant staff at both Spago Bar & Lounge buffet breakfast at RISE restaurant. Staffs are friendly, always smiling and efficient. Also thoroughly enjoyed the service at the Banyan Tree Spa.

Check-in is so so so slow. Took more than half an hour. Wonder if they could make it far more efficient

The breakfast at Rise was too short

The facility was in an ideal location. The facility exceeded all expectations. Staff was extremely attentive and wonderful.

The bidet air filter should be changed more regularly. An exhaust fan in the toilet area would be very beneficial.

Excellent customer service throughout. I wanted to give a shout out to Riza who was our server at breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. She was very nice and very attentive to our needs. Our housekeepers who we never had a chance to meet! They’ve done a great job making our room spotless! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again! Oh and I was impressed with the shower facility! Huge and very clean.

The gym was in the convention centre, and had to walk quite the distance to reach it, and that the resort did not have a sauna/steam room amenities.

We loved our stay at you're hotel & thoroughly enjoyed eating at your restaurants Spagos & Lavo. It was the best hotel we have ever stayed at & the pillows & beds were the most comfortable that we have ever experienced. It was such a nice end to our holiday & to celebrate my birthday there. The staff even brought me a birthday cake up to our room, which was a special touch.

We had a city room and a garden room. Both had fabulous views!!! The rooms were both beautiful. We loved it all!

It was a little noisy due to the construction of the fourth tower.

We only stayed two nights to experience some of Singapore’s sights. This place is absolutely immaculate. We had a premier king room with city view and it was just a dream. The facilities and furnishings are top notch. Swimming pool is lovely, but can get slightly noisy, so don’t expect it to be somewhere to lie in peace and quiet. Special thanks to all the lifeguards, they are the silent hero’s sitting there watching and protecting all the guests enjoying themselves. When we were there a massive thunderstorm hit and they immediately got everyone safely out of the pool. Also a big thanks to Danny at the Luggage Storage area who looked after our bags and got our Grab drivers attention to park close to the door and he loaded the bags all safely in the car. The staff have all been trained impeccably to have such beautiful manners. Was a delight to stay here.

If I was going to be picky, the only thing I could say was I felt the main entry was too large and airy for the elegance of the rest of the building . Felt more like an auditorium not an elegant and lush interior like the rest of the building.

Breakfast is available either as a buffet at the Ground Floor or from the menu at the rooftop restaurant. Personally, I prefer the rooftop restaurant, as the service and food quality are better. As the hotel was recently renovated, the room design is thoughtfully done. In particular, the indoor lighting and air-conditioning control panel are exceptionally well designed — the best I’ve experienced among the hotels I’ve stayed at. Overall, the room feels extremely comfortable.

The seating at the buffet area is rather cramped, and the soundproofing in the rooms could be improved.

The view from our room was incredible. I requested a high floor and we were on the 38th. The room itself was perfection, every detail had been thought about. The choice at breakfast was superb and everything we tried was top quality and delicious. The rooftop pool is spectacular
