Could have provided storage space

Staff was great, during breakfast they were very attentive and made sure my wife's allergies were taken care if.

Small rooms, no closets, boutique hotel.

Personal very unprofesional during check out. They didn't know what to do. Breakfast is not good. Swimming pool a litlle bit dirty (fungus). No space for clothes in the room. We found only one under the bed.

I was genuinely amazed and in absolute bliss at this hotel. Everything is done to the highest standard for comfortable living and for enjoying every detail. The staff are very welcoming, attentive, and exceptionally beautiful, the beautifully designed green garden feels like a tropical forest with playful lighting and a waterfall, a staircase to the second floor, an excellent bar, a delicious breakfast, and a pleasant pool area. It was the first time in my life that I experienced such enjoyment from staying at a hotel. Everything is perfect, everything is selected with taste and elegance. I highly recommend this hotel as a must-visit.

Super Funky modern space and lovely rooms. Nice bedding and pillows! Pool was good size with a swim up bar! Walking distance to the shopping street. Had a shuttle bus to the centre ICON mall and transit esp helpful if you have bags to carry. Friendly staff (but some inexperienced/need training—unsure of how to help (I came down to ask for ice and young woman at the desk said “I have no idea how to get ice” so I said can you ask someone else? after a minute and she did but it was odd)

Just some staff lacking training—as above and also in restaurant. Everything else was fantastic.

A return visit and I was so happy to return. I felt very spoilt as I was upgraded to the most wonderful suite. It really was absolutely perfect. It had everything you could possibly need. Comfortable bed and for me the important coffee Nespresso machine. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was amazing. It was so lovely to be back.

what’s not to like.

The position of the hotel was great within walking distance of the MRT. The room had everything we needed but is very small. The pool with swim up bar is lovely. The team were really welcoming and great with pointing out things to do. The shuttle bus to The Shaw Centre and The ION Centre was great.

The room was lovely, good size and the interior was gorgeous especially the bathroom. Appreciated the black out blinds and the toiletries

There wasn’t enough beds at the pool - recommend adding more beds on grassy areas.

The staff were great! Particularly Suki, who made a good stay a memorable stay. Room was great. I like being an easy walk to Orchard Road. Brilliant to have a little Nespresso machine in the room. Out on a limb, I know, but probably the best shower I have ever had...

The lifts are a little slow, but that's a small point.... I wish there had been a firmer pillow.

Loved the original design and eclectic style and colourful touches. The pool area is beautiful, with a lovely swim up bar and beautiful ambient lighting at night time. Very clean hotel, the staff do an amazing job at keeping the property pristine and manicured, they are very professional and kind, especially the doorman who was always smiling and welcoming.

It’s abit further 10 min walk from Orchard Road but they have a free shuttle going into town a lot, and to be honest, it’s nice being able to retreat back to the quiet hotel and away from the craziness

Compact but very comfortable rooms and a fabulous pool. Staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly.

The warm reception was excellent and very accommodative. We were welcomed by Khun Pawi (Thai) and Ms. Dalila at the Front Desk during our late night checked in. They were both very helpful throughout our checking in and it was very fast and smooth. Our thanks to them. :)

Just the swimming pool which gets a bit traffic during afternoon. But that is understandable with the sunny day :)

Surprised at the value for money - especially for Singapore

I liked everything

Staff were brilliant and super accommodating. We had a very late flight and they gave us a late check out, bag storage (away in a hidden locked room) use of showers and access to the pool party BBQ. Pool is much bigger than expected and lots of amazing extras like yoga classes, shuttle bus to nearest metro etc Hotel room was very clean.

Hotel room was very small- quite hard with a few suitcases.

Style and location

No gym

The property is brand new and very clean. The bed is extra comfy and the pool is fantastic, good temperature and with a pool bar.

There's no closet space to unpack. It's ok if you are staying for one quick night, but otherwise there are only a couple hangers and no shelves/drawers to leave things.

The hotel was excellent! Rooms were super comfy and really loved the interior design of the space. The pool was a great place to hang out when you wanted to just relax. Staff were extremely friendly, funny and helpful and made every day a fun experience. Would definitely come back to stay again!

Honestly, nothing that we didn't like! Everything was perfect and it was a nice place for a good getaway. Only wish we had more days to spend here!

I liked that it was new. Decent Storage under the bed.

Check in service was tight when everyone was checking in. No one offered to take the bags up.

Cool vibe and lovely pool

Room was lovely and modern, really comfortable. Ideal location to hit the shops from.

We had requested an early checkin but didn't get our room until 1pm. There were a lot of staff at reception but the checkin process was lengthy and disorganized.

Great location made more convenient by the shuttle bus service. Property is beautifully designed, loved the garden and pool. Perfect for my 24 hour layover!

Not my first time and will come back soon so it says it all😌The shower so strong to a point it healed my dying body from work!

Location was great close to the Botanical Gardens Orchard Road & MRT. Facilities were excellent, room comfortable, great shower & fantastic pool. We chose The Standard as we prefer boutique style hotels and stayed in their Melbourne property previously & enjoyed it. Love the funky furnishings & quirky sculptures that they incorporate.

Drinks were expensive which we know they are over Asia however even when we were willing to pay some wine choices were unavailable.

Breakfast was incredible, order a la carte as much as you like, everything was made fresh and was delicious! Dinner at Kaya was also incredible, the food was delicious The rooms are very tidy, and designed with cool features in mind, loved the smaller touches of the hooks on the walls, the dimmers for the lights, the TWG tea and Nespresso coffee machine in room. Pool area is also very cool, gives off Beverly Hills Hotel vibes with the decor.

We had a shaky start where our room door had a faulty lock which resulted in us not being able to access the room for a few hours while the staff worked to fixed the issue as quickly as possible. The staff however remained in contact about progress and i received an email apology from the manager with the offer of a complimentary lunch or dinner. The pillows are quite flat once you lie on them, so called through to reception for some firm ones which was promptly delivered to our room. We also couldn't find an iron and realised you bad to request one.

The staff is super nice, caring, smiling and super helpful. The room is great too and the pool is huge and breathtaking

No fitness room I would have liked a real buffet for breakfast Metro station is not so close

To be honest the bar is my favorite! Make sure you order red coyote which is made of a good quality tequila.
