I liked that it was new. Decent Storage under the bed.

Check in service was tight when everyone was checking in. No one offered to take the bags up.

Cool vibe and lovely pool

Room was lovely and modern, really comfortable. Ideal location to hit the shops from.

We had requested an early checkin but didn't get our room until 1pm. There were a lot of staff at reception but the checkin process was lengthy and disorganized.

Great location made more convenient by the shuttle bus service. Property is beautifully designed, loved the garden and pool. Perfect for my 24 hour layover!

Not my first time and will come back soon so it says it all😌The shower so strong to a point it healed my dying body from work!

Location was great close to the Botanical Gardens Orchard Road & MRT. Facilities were excellent, room comfortable, great shower & fantastic pool. We chose The Standard as we prefer boutique style hotels and stayed in their Melbourne property previously & enjoyed it. Love the funky furnishings & quirky sculptures that they incorporate.

Drinks were expensive which we know they are over Asia however even when we were willing to pay some wine choices were unavailable.

The staff is super nice, caring, smiling and super helpful. The room is great too and the pool is huge and breathtaking

No fitness room I would have liked a real buffet for breakfast Metro station is not so close

To be honest the bar is my favorite! Make sure you order red coyote which is made of a good quality tequila.

Loved the pool, poolbar and restaurant at the Standard. The rooms had a great view of Singapore. Good location too. We were only in Singapore for a day and a half so didn't explore too much.

The hotel was so aesthetically pleasing and every single finer detail was considered. Also the coffee at the bar/cafe was low key fire. Staff were so friendly and made the stay so much warmer

The location is a little out of it all (tourist attractions) - the grabs are about $20-$25 so utilise the shuttle bus as much as possible. If you aren’t widely into shopping then it might not be the location for you.

Amazing pool and great location

On arrival at the hotel we were given a lovely cold washer and cold drink. Very nice touch. Early check in was also approved so were delighted to freshen up before going out and about. Room was excellent. Very top class. Only a short walk to Orchard road to catch buses and trains. Luggage storage was a bonus on day of check out.

Prioritisation on quirky striking design, but less so for functionality. - Suite had no bench to rest an open suitcase - had to use bed/couch/floor. - No light switch for the bedroom at the door - light control located on the far side of the bed. - Kettle and nespresso machine had to share a single power point which meant constant unplugging and swapping. - no power in the bathroom for the hairdryer thats in there. - all the grass and plants in the garden are fake. and music around the grounds and elevator a bit loud. Also: Aircon was not working well. Extremely hot in the room when we arrived. Shower drain was completely clogged with hair and crap which I cleaned out myself.

Room design is refreshing and setup is so functional. The dining/work nook is amazing - it makes sense! I hate it when there’s no place for you to sit right after you arrive. That was the best feature in the room.

The pillows need more meat, feels like i didnt have any pillow at all while sleeping. Invest in good pillows.

I really loved the hotel! The location was perfect – close to Orchard Road, yet tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area. It offered the best of both worlds. The service was excellent too. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back! 🤍

The room is spacious, clean and comfortable

7-8 minutes walk for public transport

The staff were excellent for all my asks, including sorting my check in within minutes. They also organised a late check out to 2pm. Pool was as good as I have had in a hotel including the swim up bar. The restaurant Kaya also had a great value lunch special.

Room was a little small with no clothing drawers.

The hotel is stunning, the decor is modern, stylish and very beautiful, especially the outdoor areas and the restaurant, the rooms are very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed lounging by the pool, the staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The location is very good, too, just a short walk to Orchard Road.

Sunscreen and water fountain by the pool would be welcome additions. Bathrobes .. cute .. but not great design for women ( boobies on show through arm holes ) Coffee in cafe over priced and not great , food on counter very sad looking .

A beautiful, modern, and stylish property just a short walk from the vibrant Orchid Street. The staff were excellent, and the facilities were top-notch. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent new hotel. Great service from the staff and vibe. Recommend the barista at cafe standard in the morning, she makes fantastic lattes in the same style and quality as we have in Melbourne. There was also a complimentary meditation class which we particularly enjoyed. Late checkout of 12pm and very accomodating to keep allowing us using the facilities. We will definitely be returning and recommending.

The property does not have a proper gym, just some free weights outdoors.

We were able to check in early after a long flight which was very welcome. Floor to ceiling views, blackout blinds, generous room with nice seating area, very comfy bed, nice shower, beautiful pool and garden and very enthusiastic staff. They were managing a change of ownership the morning we arrived but still very friendly despite no sleep.

Would have liked some better instructions for walking to the botanic gardens but i found my way in the end. It’s also a bit of a walk to food court and shops. We ordered room service which was ok. Did not try the japanese restaurant but the menu looked interesting. Ownership had just changed to hilton group so they may not continue the early check ins.

Fresh and modern - stayed with a friend for two nights and was everything we needed. Room was well appointed and comfortable, pool area had plenty of lounges/daybeds, breakfast was lovely.

Only thing I would change (if I had to pick something), were the pillows. A little too soft!

Super conveniently located and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The cleaning is top notch! The decor is beautiful. The service was good and the hotel was quiet.

The rooms are small. Like much smaller than I expected. We did have the most affordable room available but they only had 3 hangers and no wardrobe so we had nowhere to put our suitcases. There’s also not enough choice for food.

Trendy design and the rooms felt exceptionally new & clean. The staff went above and beyond multiple times to make our stay feel comfortable and easy.

Wish there was a gym. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest underground transport station but plenty of buses within closer reach.

This is my second stay at the Standard Hotel and it was great. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are wonderfully appointed and very modern and the bed super comfy

It would have been nice to have some milk for our tea

Every part of this hotel has been designed to perfection. Staff are absolute beautiful and nothing is too much for them. So helpful with giving us a very late checkout, bringing us up international adapters and extra waters etc. Perfect location too.

Probably the least happening ‘The Standard Hotel’ in the world. It is dead, not much going around in the area either Staff were lovely in the restaurant area

Front desk is really slow with check in’s and they got the the bill so wrong
