The hotel’s location is exceptional and incredible. The staff were very friendly.

Booking.com did not provide instructions for parking and accessing the hotel. The main road to the hotel is closed due to pedestrian traffic. The parking is at the bottom of the mountain beyond the gardens. It would be smart for the hotel to work with Google maps to make this clear when searching for directions to the hotel. Additionally, I called the hotel to confirm my booking and confirm parking. The person I spoke with did not mention special instructions for accessing parking. Mentioning this detail when I called would have saved us from a very nightmarish driving experience through Taormina. Once we arrived, the staff and hotel were exceptional and one of the more unforgettable stays of my life.

Excellent quality of all offerings, and you cannot beat the view. The granita is absolutely phenomenal - highly recommend a mix of almond & coffee flavour to enjoy with your brioche! You can get the complimentary transfer to/from the other Belmond property as well (Sant'Andrea) and the breakfasts are included in room price.

Honestly, I find it very difficult to fault the property. They have thought of every small detail to make guests stays enjoyable.

The staff were very polite and provided impeccable service. The garden and the view from the terrace are to die for.

Wish the sea view was visible from the room rather than CLIMBING UP THE 3 steps to attached balcony. It’s a bit misleading to state “sea view room”.

The team working at Timeo were beyond incredible, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The setting and location is out of this world. So special.

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL. LOCATION, FABULOUS GARDENS, AMAZING FOOD, GREAT STAFF-ALL FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WISH WE WERE STILL THERE! WE FOUND IT A BIT DIFFICULT TO FIND THE ENTRANCE BUT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN GOOGLE MAPS AGAIN AS WE FOUND IT TAKES YOU THROUGH ALL THE NARROW STREETS IN ALL THE CITIES IN SICILY.

I loved this hotel so much. They take customer experience to the next level. The property is gorgeous and the views at Aperetivo hour on the terrace are breathtaking. Loved every minute.

We had a small issue with booking restaurants with concierge so we were left with no booking for 2 nights. There was no follow up with us to keep us updated on bookings.

Idyllic stay. Wonderful staff, perfect location and gorgeous facilities. Truly, could not have been better.

Great views, beautiful rooms. The service was excellent. The gardens are amazing, pool so relaxing. And so close to shopping and the Greek theatre. We took the shuttle to the beach on 2 days and it was amazing.

The bathroom lights were very bright and could not be dimmed

The restaurant Timeo service was slow, food was okay and staff not attentive.

The beauty and location of this hotel is beyond words. We felt like we were living in a dream. The hotel has this old time charm with the most incredible gardens, views of the bay and Etna. You will never want to leave. We are the most incredible food our our lives at this hotel at both restaurants, and ended eating there multiple times. The Otto Legeng Michelin star restaurant was out of this world and the best Michelin food we ever ate across the world.

The bathroom of our room were a little dated considering the caliper of the hotel and the nightly rate, however the extensive and absolutely enhancing hotel common spaces made up for it. We did not spend much time in our room at all.

Amazing hotel. Fantastic location. Immaculate grounds. Unbeatable views. Staff were brilliant. Access to the sister hotel on the beach is an added bonus.

Bathrooms are small - showers in the baths are on the low side and don’t extend far enough into the bath - a couple of slips and near accidents. Accidentally overcharged for the room on check out but this was quickly resolved.

Although we assumed we are booking to stay at the hotel, our assigned rooms were in a different building structure outside of the hotel. If we were aware of this fact in advance, we would have not selected this hotel to stay at. Also upon our arrival and departure there were no people to assist with our luggage. We had to manage our luggage on our own.

Amazing location, great breakfast, great staff. The view, the garden, the swimming pool are breathtaking. The restaurant is delicious.

AC was not working. We informed the reception, but the technicians came only the day after. We barely slept 4 hours the first night. it was very hot. There were construction works outside our window on the building besides our room. Construction workers were literally 5 feet from our terrace and we couldn't enjoy. The noise was also pretty annoying.

Fabulous location with beautiful gardens and terraces with wonderful views. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Super breakfast included.
