GLAD Hotel Yeouido, Seoul

Location great, staff great, front desk and cleaners so nice. Room huge and comfy. Close to bus stops and trains. Walking distance to two great malls, Han river and Yeouido park. Bed was comfy also. Recommend.

The view is just okay. Which isn't a deal breaker for me but not spectacular but it's whatever.

The room would be a good size for a couple - and the layout was good. The location was excellent in terms of getting to other parts of the city as well (It's a 15min walk to The Hyundai/IFC mall). I also appreciated having an abundance of water provided everyday.

I found the rooms too warm (25 degrees Celsius on heat mode) and I was unable to change it within my room despite trying. I also thought the rooms were a bit too dark for my liking.

Great hotel , very large room

This was the 3rd time my daughter and I stayed at the the Glad Yeouido in the last year or so. We like the location, convenience to the subway and relaxing pace of the neighborhood.

The staff were very nice. i also left my luggage at the hotel two days before my reservation to go to jeju island. There is subway station and a bus stop right infront of the hotel which is very helpful The area youido it self is very nice place to stay for my preference you have two really good malls to shop (the Hyundai Seoul and IFC) there is also the yeoido han river park and the yeouido park alot of cafes and restaurants and it is very nice to walk around the area there is always people and families also walking around even after dark because of the parks. I stayed with Glad yeouido last year in Jun and i loved it so much that i stayed again this year, despite my worries about the demonstrations that might happen infront of the hotel since it is right infront of the National Assembly.

You can tell the rooms are a bit old and not well maintained, and the bidet in the toilet wasn’t working.

Super convenient to public transportation including an express train, excellent breakfast buffet, close to convenience stores and a few restaurants, comfortable bed, electric kettle, helpful staff.

Nice room . Comfortable bed . Nice bathroom. Staff were good and friendly. Subway and supermarket both very close by . Buffet breakfast was ok.

Location won't be for everyone.

EVERYTHING WAS FINE

Very friendly staff, eager to help and make your stay as relaxing as possible. The room was very clean and tidy, including a charging cable for USB devices and safety equipment, such as emergency flashlight, fire extinguisher and a certain type of safety rope, that would enable the guest to be extracted out of the window, if needed. I really enjoyed my stay and was able to truly relax, after a long day of going around in Seoul! Would book again!

It was in a very nice location, not close to the center but easy accessible. Very clean, when we go out we know that all the toiletries will be renewed and the room will be cleaned. And the best part was that we are here in Korea for our honeymoon, so they upgraded the room to the bigger one, which is a very kind act. We even decided to extend our departure date in the hotel.

Great hotel with superb service, very tasty breakfast and in close proximity to various bus stops and metro. Very clean room with the most comfortable beds.

Location is great. Close to bus and subway line #9. Shopping and places to eat are very close. No Brand store is next door for groceries and such. IFC and Hyundai shopping are within walking distance. Plenty of places to walk and enjoy the scenery.

Not crazy about the loud speakers early in the morning, but it's not a deal breaker for the hotel.

The vending Maschine in the lobby didn't take my credit card so i couldn't buy anything there and had to go to the convenience store to get toothbrushes cause the hotel doesn't provide them. The vending Maschine has some but like i said my credit cards wouldn't be accepted no matter what i tried.

Only thing didn’t enjoy in this hotel is the protests very nearby….. from early morning until late …. Very loud and irritating.

There was no Iron in the room. After talking to the reception (in person) they almost beated me to the room with the Iron. Very quick service.

The front desk signed us up for all optional contact from 3rd party advertisers and we had to deselect them manually. There were no teaspoons despite tea and coffee provided.

Good hotel. 2nd visit. Simple check out, but male staff in the front desk seems unwelcoming.

Room was spacious, enjoyed having washer and steam locker in room, adequate space to feel comfortable.

A little light on amenities like skin lotion, coffee and tea.

We loved the large room with kitchenette, washing machine, dining area and sofa. The location was great with the National Assembly metro station right outside and plenty of good restaurants nearby.

The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was superb both in terms of quality and choice of food. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The location is very convenient, as there is a metro stop in front of the hotel.

I was given a room facing the street, so it was a bit noisy, but nothing a pair of good earplugs could not solve. The elevators are a bit slow (in the morning you have to wait quite some time to go down to the lobby).

Nothing but an Excellent position to hop on the train or bus.

A very cute comfortable stay, very clean room, spacious, modern setting, with a small writing desk, a big tv screen and a spacious bathroom room .

The location though could conveniently access to other places because the subway station is just right downstairs, it take quite a tong time to travel. Say for example it has taken me exactly one hour to go from the hotel to myeongdong, for just a distance of 8 stations but with 2 changes. Taxi is more recommended
