GLAD HOTEL has made me GLAD!!! It was comfortable, clean and staff were helpful. From getting a cab to airport, to daily
I love how clean the property is! Loved how it was super close to National Assembly situation which makes it very convenient to travel to anywhere else! The rooms were cleaned everyday with towels changed, things were put back into order. It’s like coming ti a clean room everyday!
I guess the aircorn would sound like it was switched off and turned on again (on its own). Perhaps it was part of conserving energy? I’m not too sure. It wasn’t a big deal, the sleep was still comfortable and the room was still cold anyway. Nothing to really dislike ;)

Very good
Modern place located in near public transport. Nice view from the rooftop. Spacious bathroom. Ideal location for travellers attending meetings in Yeouido.
More than one power point wall socket would be desirable. It takes about 40-60 minutes to see attractions in Seoul, so maybe not ideal for travels that are in Korea for sightseeing only.

Excellent stay
Very clean and spacious. Not to mention, it is srategically located within walking distance to the Hangang river, which is nice for an evening walk/run. It is also surrounded by many restaurants and cafes.

Great hotel for business
Wonderful front desk staff and location. Great Japanese restaurant
Greets breakfast is not good value, and there is not much in the way of fresh or strewed fruit, muesli or natural yoghurt for European
tastes.
Being close to the National Assembly, there is noise from protester loudspeakers nearly every day from about 8am. No problem for business travellers, but if on holiday and wanting to sleep late I recommend to ask for a quieter location at the opposite side.

The hotel has a huge number of visitors so sometimes in the evening there was a little queue to the elevator
Every weekday from 7 to 9 I believe a pretty loud and passionate (probably, it was in Korean) speech intruded my sleep. It wasn't a huge problem as I still was able to sleep until 8:30, but it was unexpected :D
Also the Glad restaurant is pretty expensive though they provide 10% for people staying in the hotel

It was great and the cost was not too expensive
Staff were very friendly and the room cleanliness was beyond expectation. There are various type of pillows could be provided, they even got the baby pillow.
The room window is too small and the lighting is not enough inside the room. It is quite weird that extra fee (not deposit) is needed when I asked for an extra blanket.

The place met my expectations.
I love the industrial look and the place is very clean and modern. Also, very conveniently located in front of the train station.
The hot water in the sink takes quite a long time to get warmer. Also, yeah not much to do within the area although Han River is pretty close by and there are two Starbucks within the area.

Convenient location with good essential amenities.
We were allocated a room on the highest floor with a nice view. The shower was spacious and amenities were good.

Good hotel-- not the best location for first time tourists
The hotel was nice and well maintained. The staff were kind and spoke good English. The location is right outside the National Assembly metro stop and there are coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Great wifi.
Not a lot to do in this area and as a first time visitor to Seoul, I wish I had stayed in a more central location.
The main issue with our stay was that we could not regulate the temperature in our room-- it was so so hot an there was no air conditioning (possibly because it was spring so it was early in the season). The room was never below 26 degrees and it was too hot to sleep. We did need to request a fan after the first night which helped a little.
I also asked for an extra towel on night 3 and was told by the man at reception that they didn't have any extra towels. This is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel (or any hotel really). The next night we asked again and we got 2 extra towels without any issue so maybe this man was just lazy or uninformed.

Fabulous
Apt. was very comfy. Bed was large and bathroom good also.
Enjoyed the location, a nice place to stroll. Regrettably I was too busy to use the gym.
Washing machine didn't work, also the iron wasn't good quality.
There was a lot of maintenance at the entrance.
Downstairs bar was so-so and overpriced, no glass of wine.

Fabulous
The facilities are new and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. I stayed on the 14th floor next to a Japanese restaurant but there was no smell or frequent noise. Only one night, a group of restaurant guests talked loudly in the elevator area. My compliment to the housekeeping that is very careful in detail and the concierge guy who always greets me. The location is very convenient for public transport.
It takes a long time for hot water to come out of the tap at the basin. And when I close the tap and open it again, I have to wait the same amount of time for the hot water, which also a waste of water.

Very good
This is our 2nd time staying here in the GLAD House. It has a dining table that can double up as a work table. Having a microwave makes it easy to dine in with microwaveables from No Brand next door. Toilet is spacious with shower, WC and long bath individually spaced so more than one can use at one time.
It would be great if a small covered bin could be placed at kitchen and smaller bowls could be provided.

Pleasant
Beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
The water in the room never was hot. I had the dial turned all the way up, but the shower water was still very cold.
