Grand Hyatt Union Square, San Francisco

Great location, friendly staff and clean.

Parking was almost as much as the hotel stay. No other option to park elsewhere since SF can be sketchy with car break ins.

Good quality room and view. Excellent location for everything including Union Sq, hire cares, Powell & Hyde Tram and China town.

No pool. Quite expensive compared to other options. Breakfast was great with super staff, but did change daily meaning you don’t always get what you might expect.

Everything was great although we were not impressed with the quality of the food at the restaurant. The staff although were attentive and excellent!

Excellent location close to shopping, returaunts etc. Close to BART as well. Excellent room. Very large and nicely appointed. Very comfy bed. Room safe and fridge were appreciated. Very helpful staff.

They charge a $40 Destination Fee that isn't shown in the price you pay in the app. All that fee is for discounts to tourism in the area, that no one should be forced to buy.

Excellent location, great staff, easy check in and check out, they gave me two connecting rooms with great views over Union Square, valet service was excellent and much appreciated

The location is top, and very close to most places you'd need to visit.
The staff was very friendly and helpful,
The amenities including the bar and fitness centre were above par.
The lady at the Concierge was very helpful with my itinerary too.

There were these protesters outside the front door of the hotel between 0800 and 2200 hours, daily.
With their loud banging and noise, there was not a moment's peace.
The hotel did little to nothing to mitigate this, or provide us with any compensation.

The staff was very friendly particularly the lady at Concierge who helped me with some local tips.
and decent amenities like the bar, breakfast, room service, housekeeping, and even the fitness centre.
They were all above par.

there were protests outside the hotel daily between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM
which really ruined my stay in some parts.
I wish the hotel had done better to mitigate or compensate.

I had been working with Elaine at the Concierge Desk for weeks planning my stay. It was our 13th anniversary and I wanted to make it memorable.

Elaine was wonderful! We corresponded mostly via email. A few times we spoke via phone. Bottom line, she coordinated the dozen roses I requested in addition to the rose petals that were made in the shape of a heart. My wife was blown away by how thoughtful I was in planning our anniversary getaway. However, it was Elaine’s amazing skills that pulled it off.

Upon arrival, I went to the desk to thank her personally, but unfortunately she wasn’t there. Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to Elaine and her world class customer service.

Valet parking is very expensive, nearby parking are cheaper. There are some areas of the hotel (like the rooftop) that you cannot access unless you’re member or something, not cool for what we paid!
Be careful when you walk around the hotel which corner you turn, the “tenderloin” area is next to it with lots of druggies and homeless people…

Location was great and breakfast was just perfect.

Nothing to complain about.

We had a great view to the Union Square.

There were tiny ants on the floor.
