Excellent boutique hotel!!
Air conditioning worked very well, comfortable beds, spacious room, extensive breakfast, great water pressure, gorgeous decor, free open bar in lobby and room, great communication before and during stay, wonderful staff, safe area and close to sites as it’s by the police station and a few minutes from Trevi fountain

We loved this small boutique hotel in a perfect location and our room was stunning
Location was perfect. The decor and ambiance are stunning and we enjoyed the various lounges and free bar !

Old world charm in the center of Rome
After a few days, we felt at home - something the chain hotels with their sterile rooms and sterile lobbies cannot offer. The location is great - between the di Trevi Fountain (5 minutes walk) and the Colosseum (12 minutes walk). Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are spacious - we had the "Palatino" room in the Annex (separate building) and it was perfect for a family, with a separate bedroom and our own patio with shaded seating. There was also a kitchen in the room - very useful. The kitchen was pretty well appointed with an oven, a fridge, a freezer, lots of pots and pans. The buffett breakfast was excellent - not a super huge selection (it's a small hotel after all) but all the important items were there and the quality was breathtaking. The service is very personal and friendly. It's the kind of place where you have to ring a bell to have the receptionist come and open the door for you. Again, it's not an anonymous big hotel. We loved it.
The only item we missed in the kitchen in our room was a microwave - that was a disappointment. I believe it's a very useful appliance for travellers - should be added. They are very cheap these days.

The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was like a museum
Exquisite hotel in immaculate condition with very high levels of service.
The Bed Linen was not the usual quality expected from a top end hotel, and was quite a strange fabric.

Beautiful hotel and a great experience
The breakfast was a wonderful spread. We are well traveled and the breakfast at the hotel was one of the best ever.
The rooms was big for Europe and very tasteful decorated.
The free drinks in the evening is a lovely touch to settled after the day and to start relaxing.

Excellent and luxurious
The breakfast (especially the croissants and cold meat selection) was amazing! The rooms and all the amenities were luxurious and better than the photos of the establishment. We really enjoyed the free drinks in the evenings in the library.

A gem of a hotel

Fantastic four night stay touring this beautiful city and knowing we had a luxurious hotel awaiting.
The breakfast was exceptional from fresh fruit salad, pastries, cakes, cold continental to freshly cooked eggs bacon etc.
The hotel was a twenty minute or less walk from all the main sightseeing attractions except for the Vatican city which was 50 mins.
No negatives that i could think of.

Honeymoon room at an atmospheric old villa
Wonderful romantic old villa, very suitable for a stay in Rome. Excellent location.
Breakfast selection was rather poor, especially in warm dishes. Good quality but very limited choice. Having said that, the breakfast lounge was beautiful.
The bedroom window didn't seal completely, allowing for a bit of street noise in the morning. I asked the staff if they could take care of it, but it didn't change.
