Loved everything!

I will return to Hotel Locarno anytime I am fortunate enough to visit Rome. One can not ask more from a hotel - attentive front desk staff, delicious food and beverages served in beautiful surroundings, perfectly lovely accommodations, and nicely located.

Magic defines this hotel. Breakfast is wonderful, all the menu is very carefully selected, every bite is a pleasure. Location is very good, quiet street but near everything, hotel staff is very gentle and friendly, great room service, great clean service, very comfortable beds and linens. Bathroom is a dream as well as the quality of the amenities offered in it. I loved the soft lighting in the restaurant and the Christmas decor was wonderful. All the details of the room were beautiful. On our last day we didn't know where to dine and the concierge made a reservation of a restaurant near by that was amazing. Hoping to come back soon as only 3 nights is not enough for Rome and for Hotel Locarno.

We had a little issue as I arrived, once I previously asked and confirmed about 3 times in the e-mails to have separate beds in my bedroom as I was traveling with my son, but the beds were together. Also, the vintage chairs in the room were not so stable. However, as soon as I told the reception about those issues it was immediately fixed, like magic, we went out for our first walk around the neighbourhood and on the way back everything was perfect. From that point on, they were extremely helpfull with all the requests we had during our stay making us always wanting to return to it for a rest after the busy visits and walks around the city.

It's an incredible hotel in an amazing area of Rome. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The concierge was able to book me a last minute ticket to the Borghese Gallery, which was a highlight of my trip! The food and ambiance of the garden and bar transported me back in time. And the rooms are stunning, with beautiful, historic touches.

it has an on world world feel about it the rooms are generous in size and the staff were friendly and genuinely interested in your well being . The breakfasts were a highlight and the bar is the perfect place to meet for a pre dinner drink .

BEST hotel I have ever stayed in in Rome, stop looking for a hotel, THIS IS THE ONE, I do not have any complaint at all. The whole atmosphere is superb.

The service, food and location of the hotel was all perfect.

They need to completely update the seats/ sofas in the outside bar/restaurant area. They are old fashioned, uncomfortable to sit on and the cushions are old, tatty and thin. That is probably the only thing they need to change.

Great staff, great room, and the location was good.

The bath tub and its curtains could be better organized, water was spilling all over. And the sink drainage was slower, so the sink kept filling up. The breakfast was ok and tasty but the selection could be bigger

The hotel is beautifully decorated and in a great location. We loved the art deco style. The neighbourhood is lovely and allowed us to walk to all the sights.

The service at the hotel was impeccable and first class. People went well beyond their way to help us. I was so impressed with this hotel for a number of reasons. The location was ideal, perfectly nestled away from the busy streets of Rome but close enough to walk to any real site. The breakfast was great and the rooftop bar during sunsets was amazing. We booked a room with a balcony which was great to relax in and was a very good size. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rome.
