Centrally located and within walking distance of most major attractions in Rome. Erwin was the best and helped us navigate our first time in Rome. All hotel employees were super friendly.

It is a boutique hotel so small room but very clean and tidy with helpful staff. Nice view from roof terrace. Location to cafe's and restaurants could not be better. Easy walk to most attractions. Easy walk to HO HO stop at the Vatican. Highly recommended.

Didn't have their breakfast as plenty of options right outside the hotel. Everything was great. Wonderful and helpful staff. Location is in the heart of the historic district with many sights within easy walking distance.

Valentina at the front desk was excellent advising on areas to go and restaurants. we used the car service from the airport and the Vatican tour. both were excellent. The hotel is close enough to everything that walking is possible. The Piazza is active but the hotel is super quiet.

We loved the hotel and the lovely rooftop patio. The location was perfect for our needs. The staff was fantastic and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful but because we were 3 in number we booked an apartment. When space became available we were kindly moved into the hotel and accommodated graciously by the staff.

Our family recently stayed at Hotel Campo di Fiori in Rome, and it was an unforgettable experience. We opted for an apartment a few steps away from the main hotel, which was spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional front desk staff. They transformed our trip from a simple vacation into an extraordinary experience. From the moment we arrived, Valentina and Andrea Jr. provided impeccable guidance on every detail—where to eat, where to go, how to get there, the best times to visit, making reservations, and arranging transportation. Their recommendations ensured we enjoyed the most delicious Italian food and avoided any tourist traps. For instance, after a tiring journey, they directed us to a charming little pizzeria next door for a quick and delightful lunch. Their restaurant suggestions were always spot-on, considering our schedule and preferences. A notable example of their assistance was with transportation. When we took a taxi from the railway station to the hotel, we were charged 35 EUR, but since we didn’t have cash, the driver settled for $40 USD. After checking in, we relied on the hotel’s help for all our transportation needs and never paid more than 13 EUR, including our ride back to the railway station. In summary, you can plan your trip meticulously using all the apps and itineraries available, or you can stay at Hotel Campo di Fiori and let Valentina and Andrea Jr. take care of everything. You’ll live like a Roman, enjoy life like a tourist, and savor the most delicious Italian cuisine—all while avoiding scams. This hotel and its staff truly made our stay in Rome exceptional.

There is not much to dislike here but if i were to nitpicky I would say elevator in our apartment was very small which could be inconvenient if you have too much luggage. But honestly I wouldn't change it though cause it adds to that old charm. Another thing is you will find smokers all over in Rome and right on the entrance of the apartment building is no exception either. Having said that entrance doors is secluded from actual apartment so no issues with stink or security.

The staff were so sweet and attentive to our needs. They were beyond helpful in recommendations for food and shops in the area as well as tours. The room was beautiful and the air conditioning was perfect for Rome in August! Definitely go through them for the major tours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican. Great way to skip major lines for general admission and learn the tips and tricks from a local.

Location was fantastic. Not enough is made of the roof top terrace. I don’t think many locations will have direct line of sight to St Peter’s, Capital Hill, and the Pantheon.

We initially stayed in a standard room, but owing to some issues that were quickly resolved we were moved to a superior room. The standard room was dark with a view of internal walls. The superior rooms are much much better, with a view from the front of the hotel.

Hotel Campo de’Fiori is such a charming hotel tucked away off the larger piazza with its own mini piazza. When you pull up and look at the fascia of the ivy covered hotel, you can’t help but fall in love with it. The hotel is in walking distance of so many things (Trevi, Spanish steps, Pantheon, etc) Immediately outside of the front doors you have 3 restaurants to choose from and during the heat of the day, they are in the shade (Yeah!!!!). During our mid July stay, every day was super sunny and searing with temps in the mid 90s. Having these places close by and cool (misters / shade) was a huge benefit. We had many meals there! Our room was on the 3rd floor and they accommodated our request to have the King bed split into two doubles because my son and I were traveling together. Room was on the smaller side and the electricity was tied to having your key put into the wall and this was tied to AC and lights. The room came with a teapot, a safe and a fridge. There was a spectacular rooftop seating area with 360 views of Rome including all domes and St. Peter’s. Great place for your morning coffee or evening aperitif. The hotel also offered tours that picked you up on sight with pricing comparable to Viator / Tours by locals. We did not use them, but I probably would the next time - convenient! They also offered taxi service to the airport; however, we found that calling our own taxi was cheaper and reliable. Leave 35 minutes on a weekend and probably an hour on a week day. Lastly, we loved Lorenzo, Erwin and Adam at the front desk. Super friendly and helpful with recommendations and conversation. Great bakery and coffee bar around the corner - Il Fornaio! Highly recommend. Also, small grocer right across the street which is so convenient!

Well….the water in our shower was warm, but not hot. When I say warm, it was probably a little cooler than or at body temperature. We kept waiting for it to get warmer, but it never did. Most of the time this was okay because we were sooooo hot from our days in the city, but when our muscles were tired, we wanted some hot water. Also, there was no coffee maker in the room, only a tea pot. This was different than other hotels that offered at least an Nespresso machine. They wanted you to purchase every 5 euro coffee from them and you had to call for it. Lastly, they did not want you to bring your own ‘anything’ up to the rooftop bar. They want you to purchase everything from them. Unfortunately it felt like they were nickel and diming us when the room charges are plenty. Would have liked to bring our own goodies up there.

Great location! Market during the day and lively atmosphere at night! The apartment is very comfortable and beautiful. Has great air conditioning, large rooms, and a small kitchenette. There are stairs up to the apartment, but the elevator is accessible after a few steps for heavy luggage. Beautifully decorated and great views of the square.

Stayed in an apartment, was newly furnished and a good space for a family of 6. Overlooking the square and easy access to all ofRome. Also had access to the main hotel which has a beautiful rooftop bar. Staff was very accommodating. Arranged for airport transfer which worked great.

This is my favourite area of Rome so the location is perfect. The roof terrace is fantastic, sitting with a glass of wine looking at the Roman sky line is magical. The room was comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was fantastic. Jana, who worked the breakfast was fabulous. She is probably the main reason for this excellent review, although all staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

What wasn't to like! Fantastic area, close to everything (Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Vatican etc) and fabulous gelato bar around corner! Staff were fantastic, always on hand.

Only recommendation I would make is housekeeping could be reduced to every 2-3 days. But it was nice to have, although not really necessary everyday.

We skipped breakfast and went out. We enjoyed the rooftop patio. The staff was A++++

LOCATION

I enjoyed having an apartment to ourselves directly adjacent to a busy square and within walking distance of many bucket list items such as piazza navona, spanosh steps, trevi fountain, as well as several restaurants nearby in case you were done in by all the walking and just wanted somewhere nearby to go.

There was no elevator in the apartment building only in the hotel across the square. That means 1-4 of the most uneven steps you will ever experience. We also got locked in the apartment more than once due to the old style locks and keys used.

We chose it for the location. We were able to walk to the Vatican, Colosseum, and Spanish Steps. The location was fantastic.
