Hostel YellowSquare, Rome

Location near the train station is awesome. The staff was very helpful, 4 person room with bathroom was a great size, the bed was comfortable with a light and socket. Elevator was available and is great, the Yellow Bar was a fun place to visit and food was very good. Hostel facilities (common areas, kitchen, etc were very nice).

Nothing to really dislike

I liked how it felt like a comunity rather than strangers. I liked how there was a space to gather.

The bathroom I had was a tad tiny it was hard to change in there.

The environment was very friendly and chill. Comfortable staying in a good location

Really cool, friendly, safe, warm and welcoming place to stay! I've stayed at YellowSq in Florence and loved it, so came to stay at YellowSq in Rome and it was so cool. The staff are on hand to help with anything, the bar man knew I was travelling alone and was chatty. They give you a free drink and pasta when you arrive :) I met some really cool girls staying in my dorm, the room itself is very clean, comfortable and a safe is available to keep your belongings in. I 100% would come and stay at YellowSq again!

I couldn't figure out how to use the air-con :(

You get a free dinner everynight, the bar is great and it hosts a goo event every night, the stuff are very friendly and chill. I recommend it to everyone who wants to meet new people and party.

The rooms and the bathroom are a bit small but i guess that is to be expected.

I actually stayed at two yellow square hostiles one in Florence and one in Rome I like the location on both of them. I liked everything about both hostels you look at it you name it that’s what I liked.

There was nothing not to like about these hostel they were exceptional

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was great! They even offered free pasta everynight in the bar in front of the hostel so that was amazing and they also have activities everyday so u have many opportunities to meet new people.

The place was a bit far from the city center, but very close to the train terminal, which was helpful. I would also liked if there would've been a curtain in each bed so that the light didnt bother that much.

The place is beautiful, clean, and well-structured. The receptionists are very welcoming, and the atmosphere is very pleasant overall. The hostel is very well located, close to bus stops and the station. The hostel bar is also very good and has great activities that allow you to socialize well.

Location is far from mail tourist attractions , required taking bus , MRT to get the spot.
But it's okay that easier to get all transport station.

no curtains on bed however you can just use the sheet provided. Room cleaning comes a little early however she was lovely so i can’t complain.

There are no curtains anymore in our bunk bed, theres no duvet cover as well in our comforters, the Bathroom smell like strong chlorine and too small for everything in that room in 3rd floor room 15

Free welcome drink (beer or wine) and free pasta every evening between 6-8 pm is provided. There are always activities at nights. A fun facility with great staff and yellowbar is a good opportunity to spend the night enjoying. Wifi is good.

Cleaning staff was not good enough, bathroom and toilet was stinking and it was disgusting. So that I couldn’t even take a shower for 6 days and i could hardly use the toilet. Sometimes there are no mobile network in the room.

Walking distance from most of monuments and museums and train station. The room was spacious enough for 4 people. I just used the bar for my morning coffee and croissant. The staff is relaxed but very professional. I highly recommend the place. Thank to all the staff

Overall, I had a great stay. The hostel has a lively vibe, especially with its on-site bar, which is perfect for socializing and meeting other travellers. The rooms are clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a short stay. The location is also close to the terminal.

The room and the common areas are very clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The dorm was facing an inner yard, so it wasn’t noisy. The location is safe (unlike some other parts around Termini) and close to all kinds of buses and metro. The hostel also has a bar where you can meet other people while having a drink. The prices for extras are super reasonable (1,5€ for renting a towel and 0,5-1€ for storing your bag in a locker after check-out).

Great location. The rooms were spacious, individual beds were large and isolated enough so I didn't feel cramped. The hostel offers so many amenities and activites (ear plugs, safes, free pasta, parties, group classes, etc), which are perfect for tourists.

Room cleaning could've been more frequent. Elevators constantly broke down.

Perfect location, and every bed has curtains, a personal locker, and lighting — it feels like your own private capsule, just wonderful.

The bathroom is a bit claustrophobic, and the flush sometimes doesn’t work.

The room was spacious enough for my friend and me, and overall it was a really nice stay! The shower was warm and relaxing, and the bed super comfy. The pillow could’ve been a bit softer, though. The hostel’s location is great — just a short walk from Termini Station, with easy access to the metro and trains.

My window view was of a garbage deposit in the central courtyard of the building.

The room was clean and well maintained. Exactly as in the photos. They have socialising activities every night. They offer free pasta for dinner and one free drink at the Yellow bar right across the street. It was a nice surprise and fun experience.

A bit far from all the main attractions like Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi etc. Easier to take the metro to get to these places

Lots of space and nice well organised reception. Good size bunks in four bed dorm. Women only dorms. Private bathroom for each dorm.

Initially told over 45’s could not stay in dorms but this was changed as long as you accepted it could be lively. It was very quiet and oldies can deal with this!
