Happy. I'd return to this place. Shame they don't have a swimming pool that'd have been great!
Customer service very polite and helpful (check-in could have been expedited, but...)
Location is perfect: Safe and centric.
Super Gay/LGBTQ+ friendly.
Room had a massive bed, It was big but also felt too tight.
Rooms could use a little bit of renovation and rethink of the space use. But they were nice and comfortable.

Good Hotel
The breakfast was excellent! They have a very nice buffet breakfast with hot food, pastries, and fruit. The hotel is a short walk to a very nice beach. It was easy getting an Uber from the hotel.
At night, the restaurant downstairs becomes a club. Even on the 6th floor we could still hear the music downstairs in the evening. There was also construction going on while we were there, sometimes after 10pm at night.

Great location, room was very comfortable and clean, close to the beach and restaurants/bars in Ipanema. we had a great stay and recommend Mar Ipanema Hotel.
Late check-out wasn’t allowed by the staff, even though there were rooms available for booking.

Elevators need updating but don’t let that put you off !

Great hotel.
Latenight front desk is dissapointing. Great breakfast. The Best of Mar Ipanema is an Employee named Celio, he is very polite, helpfull, educated and friendly.
The rooms needs an update urgently.

Our entire family enjoyed the hotel and location. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach, numerous restaurants in the vicinity, rooftop bar afforded a beautiful view of the city area.
No on site swimming pool.

Fabulous
The breakfast is very good, with a variety of breads, cakes and fruits, and the room is comfortable, although small. Also, the location of the hotel is wonderful! It is in the middle of Ipanema, close to interesting stores and two blocks from the beach. The staff is attentive and polite. I plan on coming back again.
The bathroom wall has glass bricks that let the light from the bathroom into the bedroom, which can be disturbing if one person is sleeping and another is in the bathroom.

Amazing breakfast and really nice location, very safe neighborhood. Personnel very friendly and useful.
There are some renovations in place an the terrace is closed. Also double glass windows would be nice to avoid noises

The breakfast is great and so is room service from their restaurant. All the staff is very helpful, polite and friendly. The location is the best in the city! Full of great restaurants and commerce around and super close to Ipanema beach.
The size of the room. It's a little bit too small with two small kids. But we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway.

Good overall.
Excellent location, very good breakfast in an airy restaurant. Room was small but confortable. Staff is very courteous and efficient.
Bathroom was a bit dusty, windows did not close properly. Needs some fixes and better cleaning.

An express hotel
The location and the very kind receptionist.
The staff working at the restaurant and rooftop was terrible, out of a sudden I thought we were ghosts. The floor at the room was wet, the shower leaked, they have connected rooms and you could hear people next room, connected rooms need to be made by double acoustic doors and not one si for thin one.
