Wonderful beach location and close to bars and restaurants all over. Friendly ,helpful staff, right in the centre of a perfect part of Rio De Janeiro...I love this hotel. I kept rebooking. Wait til I leave 🤪

The location was an absolute 10/10 — truly unbeatable. Posto 10 in Ipanema beach was just a 5–7 minute walk away. The staff were outstanding, warm, and genuinely friendly. Special thanks to Fernando and Lucio (I hope I’m spelling their names correctly), who went above and beyond to accommodate us in every possible way.

The sheets are in desperate need of replacement. What were once white now have a greyish tone, especially the duvets, which makes them feel old and, therefore, dirty. The mattresses were also not very comfortable for me, though I recognize that mattress preference is quite personal. In some parts of the hotel, when you turn on the AC, a damp “wet dog” smell eventually appears — likely due to poor ventilation, though I’m no expert. The breakfast was another disappointment. I’m not referring to the variety of choices, since I understand that local breakfast options are part of the adventure of traveling and experiencing new cultures. What bothered me was the quality: stale bread and pancakes, watery eggs, and a fruit salad made with fruit that was clearly on the verge of spoiling. These issues, in my opinion, could easily be resolved with simple fixes — fresher bread, more toasters and presses, and a bit more attention to freshness overall.

Bathroom in our room was extremely small. We had to move to another room. There are NO places with drawers to store your clothes.

Perfect location, comfy room with a great selection in the minibar. Staff were super helpful and welcoming with everything we needed.

Close to the beach, good breakfast that starts at 6am, late check out at 12 noon

Our room was right infront of the cleaning staff storage area. We could hear staff chatter throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper suggest that you ask for a quiet room.

Oh my god what a disgrace of a place! In a good location but the management needs to change ASAP!

Never informed us before arrival that the restaurant was not working! Which meant no coffee no breakfast no room service no lunch no dinner option!!!! We were on our honeymoon and had to rush off to get coffee from a hotel we were paying more than 150 euros per night! And the best part … they offered breakfast in a supermarket on top of the meat and fish hall… 🤢 gross!!! The staff can be rude … the sheets were never changed in our 6 day stay!! What a disaster!!! And in the end they made a mistake with our mini-bar ( 23 euro bill mind you..) and sent me emails to pay them after having spend 900 euros for accomodation.. and never getting a refund for the days we had to go out to the supermarket to eat breakfast ( which of course we refused to do..)So pety… its people who make the difference and the management of this place needs to change ASAP!!!

Prime location in Ipanema, close to restaurants and commerce but still within minutes from the beach. Renovated room on P level, especially large bathroom Nice staff support

P level is fairly low, you have street noise and no view Room was rather small, and for this quite expensive

The staff working at the restaurant and rooftop was terrible, out of a sudden I thought we were ghosts. The floor at the room was wet, the shower leaked, they have connected rooms and you could hear people next room, connected rooms need to be made by double acoustic doors and not one si for thin one.

It was very good, excellent location and comfortable.

As I was working the broadband was very important to me and it was awful, always disconnecting.

The location is great as you are right next to the beach with a short walking distance , the staff are really helpful and welcoming also . The breakfast is nice too and the bar area

The noise from other guests the room I stayed in was not very sound proof so you can here a lot of noise so if you want a good night sleep definitely make sure you opt for a soundproof room , also safe was not working and access card needed to be reactivated frequently

Best possible location you could stay at, for first-timers in Rio. The area is very walkable even in the evening. Going to the beach also works very spontaneously as it‘s a 2 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was rich in options and very tasty. The Staff made us feel like we were taken good care off and always there to support us. Big thank you to them! The room is also very comfortable and has a good layout. Was cleaned daily.

The only thing that bothered us was the noise coming from the air ventilation unit, but having been around in Brazil for a while now, I guess that‘s just how it is and you can‘t escape it. The facilities could have been a tick cleaner for our taste.

Nice room, not huge and no balcony. But friendly and well run. The bar on the ground floor is a great place to hang out at night, good music and atmosphere. The best thing is that it’s in a busy, well lit and safe street, with all the shops and services you need close by. (the beachfront two blocks away doesn’t feel so safe at night)

The rooms need renovation, the windows are not good for protecting the sound from outside. There is a bar on the ground floor and high volume music is on all night. I had difficulty in sleeping because of the noise.

I wish there was a microwave and a kettle in the room. We were eating out all the time because of this and even when we had leftovers from the restaurant we couldn’t take it back with us because we didn’t have a way to reheat the food.

Well located and fairly.priced, right in the heart of Ipanema.
